PERUSING DRUDGE, 12-15-2012

A good enough response by Obama to the Newtown killings but he blew it with the fake tears.  C’mon, BO, you can do better than that.  You should have had stooge Carney wave an onion in front of you to get some real tears.  Your face was as dry as the AZ desert in July.

Maybe since BO accepted border guard Brian Terry’s death without tears a couple years ago and thousands of abortions do not bother him, his PR guys felt he better try to look a bit more emotional this time even if it meant imaginary tears.

The founder of Domino's Pizza is suing the federal government over mandatory contraception coverage in the new health care law:

FROM THE AP:  Tom Monaghan, a devout Roman Catholic, says contraception is not health care and instead is a "gravely immoral" practice. He's a plaintiff in a lawsuit filed Friday in federal court, along with his Domino's Farms, which runs an office park near Ann Arbor.

Monaghan offers health insurance that excludes contraception and abortion for employees. The new law requires employers to offer insurance that includes contraception coverage or risk fines. The government says the contraception mandate benefits women and their role in society. There are similar lawsuits pending across the country.

This is really stupid.  Is the cost of contraception so expensive that it has to be covered by insurance?  How much can birth control pills and rubbers cost?  Also, “the contraception mandate benefits women and their role in society.”  What kind of phony liberal nonsense thought that up?  Women will be better citizens if insurance money pays for their sexual adventures?  Please tell me this foolishness is not happening in what used to be the greatest country on earth.  Good luck to Mr. Monaghan.

This has to be the quote of the week:  Tiny Mission College in California (where else?) has added a 50 year old, 6 foot 6 inch, 220 pound transsexual to its woman's basketball team comprised of girls 18, 19, and 20.

Gabrielle Ludwig wants to be the first person to play college basketball as a man and a woman.
Needless to say, there has been a lot of controversy over this as one would expect except maybe Gabrielle who commented:  “I don’t want to be a distraction to the team.”  What?  Do you mean that this is not an every day event in basketball?  Well, maybe in California.

The Washington Redskins of the NFL have a great black quarterback in Robert Griffin III.  I watched him against the NY Giants a couple weeks ago and the guy can run like Emmett Smith and throw like Aaron Rodgers.  He also is not interested in being referred to by the color of his skin.  He wants to be defined by his work ethic.

That sounds like a real stand up guy to me.  Unfortunately some second string  columnist named Rob Parker does not agree with Griffin’s ideology.  Parker, who is black, wants to know if Griffin is a “brother” or just a “cornball brother”, whatever that means.

Parker teeters back and forth evaluating how “black” Griffin is and whether he is “not really down with the cause” or “not one of us”.   He says “We all know he has a white fiancé and there was this talk that he is a Republican.”

Oh, my God!  Griffin might be a Republican and have a white fiancé?  Mr. Parker  is clueless and is an embarrassment.

Apparently those bumps under my skin are nothing to worry about. Just "water nodules" whatever they are. An old guy thing, I guess.

A roommate is having a religious meltdown. He's going to join a cult in the woods. Barefoot. Flowers in their hair. Groovy man. Yep, probably in about ten years, DHS will park a tank in their living room.

Fake tears ... my first wife was a pro. I could tell you some stories about her, but Jimmy knows all about them women folk and their tricks. Politicians are the same way.

Did you notice that BO can do the same patented Bill Clinton pout? He's good. It conveys sincerity and by and large, the public is made up of people who are more concerned about their favorite TV character's problems than the family next door.

I kinda think that most of America is having an emotional meltdown today. So is China, from what I read.

Ban knives. We need more knife control. There needs to be a background check for anyone buying kitchen knives. The Chinese can just use sporks.

I sound insensitive, I suppose. It's an aspergers thing.

Most transexuals are such crybabies. But a 50-year-old transexual and aggressive enough to be on a YOUNG women's basketball team ... damn.

I was discussing having breast implants done with my housekeeper the other day. She said it wouldn't work. I'd be playing with myself too much. Buying myself flowers. Trying to get a glimpse.

Rick,

Did you click the link to the tape of Obama? I've seen better acting than that in a high school play.

Hell, if a guy is going to cry, let's see some real crying; not just some phony touching of his cheek. I want streaming tears, red eyes, etc.

Maybe he should have watched a Lassie movie first. That dog always made me cry especially in the war films.

Rick Kepple said...

Yeah, Obama's not like me. I get teary eyed over a Reese Witherspoon movie. Poor Reese. Crying over her doggy in the graveyard in Alabama. I feel a tear coming on.

I couldn't have given the speech that Obama gave. I'd have broken down, reporters would have come forward, we all would have began praying, speaking in tongues and praising God! George W would have.

Maybe John Boehner should have given him lessons.

I doubt the deaths of a few oyster crackers gave him a sleepless night, after all how many innocent Paki kids has he killed with his drone strikes the past few years?- it's for a good cause if it can get guns out of the hands of his enemies.

No, psychopaths seldom shed real tears over the plight of others- I have met a few.

Maybe the contraceptive industry needs to be nationalized, not only could they make sure no profits would ever be met but they could advertise as well..
..maybe a Volt commercial printed on the side of a.... or toss in a few free food stamps with every purchase..
how about like the old Raleigh campaign of coupons? the old joke was you could save up for an iron lung, just use your imagination on this one...
..ah nevermind.

Glo said...

Jim, If you really want to shed tears, try watching the end of Old Yeller, Brian's Song, Love Story, or Ghost. I blubber every time.

Being from CT, I have a deep empathy for people from that state. I stared at the headlines before I could bring myself to believe that horror had happened. Again. To more innocents. I cry inside at the thought of those parents wailing their grief to the heavens and watching the wrapped gifts under the Xmas tree stare back at them in pain. BUT, please, everyone, remember that adults were murdreed also, and the grief of their families is just as poignant and immense. The only so-called saving grace of that day is that the scumsukking murderer offed himeslf, too, and now we don't have to watch a battery of defense lawyers brutalize the survivors in court and try to save a life that was worthless and offensive to decent people. Altough I'm sure quite a few ambulance chasers were on the prowl for surviviors before the smell of gunpowder faded.

when I went to public school in Hartford, the only thing I had to worry about was being called vicious names because I was fat. Horse, pig, fatso - yup, they left a mark forever, but I'm alive and living a good life. Nowadays, EVERY parent has a legitimate concern about their child, any age, never coming home from school again. That's so, so insane. And I don't see it getting any better.

I'm honestly glad that I never had children. It's not a world I'd want them or their descendants growing up in. If they'd even survive their primary education ...

I have a feeling that if ever a link is proven it will be medications all of these killers were on under formal psychiatric care.

Information which has to be protected by the PTB so they seal the records.

Schools now give children sedatives rather than discipline, there is a whole industry dedicated to pushing pills..
so it's no wonder we have so many unbalanced in society.. you are right Glo, it will get much, much worse.

Hey if it matters, you got my respect and I am sure Jim's as well and that is worth more than the damage done by the insults of children you had to put up with- life isn't fair and reasonable people realize it sometime in their development.

Thanks Middy! And, yeah, respect from others and self-respect are the cornerstones of a life well-lived. I used to live my life trying to please everybody, but after my mom died, I changed a lot and now don't give an F if anyone is pleased with me as long as I am. I used to worry about being ecccentric - now, I revel in it, LOL!

Jim, I get a tear in my eye every time I see Rick on your blog. Believe me it's not tears of joy.

After the shooting at the school the anti-gun liberals came out and blamed the NRA and the 2nd amendment for the tragedy. I guess the crazy guy with guns that killed all those kids had nothing to do with it.

Today in the letters to the editor a woman called for the repeal of the 2nd amendment. Can you believe that? She must have been a product of public education that doesn't teach about government or the founding fathers.

Rick Kepple said...

"you are right Glo, it will get much, much worse."

Thanks Middy and it's Rick, not Glo. A couple of my insightful posts are being circulated around Facebook even now. Maybe even go viral.

That Victoria teacher is the most remarkable story. She hid her students then told the shooter that they were in the gym. She sacrificed herself as a soldier to save the entire platoon. She is a soldier and saved the innocent with the ultimate gift. Her life.

Middy's right. The answers are in the medications and the suicides of soldiers, veterans and these mass murderers are all linked by the medications.

I'll betcha that all these overweight people are also on medications, but pills are never the problem, are they?

I got wise and got off the pills, except for the hypertension medication. Some drugs will magnify the feelings that are already there.

Some antipsychotic medication will even cause psychotic behavior and suicidal tendencies.

Musicians tell me that the reason so many illegal drugs are in the music industry is to keep them all wasted to control them. Control.

That's what all this medication crap is about; control. Does it look like people are controlled?

And cell phone companies keep up to seven years of conversation and text. The NSA listens to our conversations and reads our blogs. There are drones flying over America. Allegedly, our phones are tapped. The government can even find out how much toilet paper you buy with your credit cards. Dudes, they can't stop a wacko after all that surveillance? Therefore, is it possible that they ALLOWED this murderer into a school? Actually, yes.

In my experience with law enforcement, they aren't looking to PREVENT crime UNLESS it's a high profile person or for national security. The guy would have had to make threats for it to be a crime. Just muttering to himself about killing kids is not illegal, but according to the FBI, they listen to our murmurings.

Right now I suspect they are trying to get their official story coordinated with the White House, if a few non germane details such as were "omitted" with Obama's son getting lit up by "Zimdog" in Florida such as doctored photos etc, they have to be manufactured, and of course it takes some time.
..remember it was a month after the incident before they gave us those photoshopped pictures of G.Zimmerman getting booked at the homeless shelter.

That and "under investigation" makes a pretty tight lid on what information we actually get.

I have less respect for the media than I do for Obama- he's a whore, they just give it away.

Naturally, the lemmings will fall all over themselves talking about how inspirational Obama was with his little speech.

I notice he made good use of the pregnant pause for extra effect.

I've seen $3 bills more legitimate than this guy.

Those Raleigh coupons were a good deal, especially if you bought them by the carton. I think there were about 10 extra ones in a carton.

"Hey, Joe. That's sure a good looking lawn mower you have there. It must have really cost a lot."

Why, no, Willie. I got it for nothing just by smoking Raleighs and saving the coupons!"

I really think with all the smacktalk the Packers have gotten under the skin of DaBears... haha, that's a dangerous game tho- the last thing you want to do is inspire them.
But I saw signs of life in the offensive line the past couple of weeks so getting Matthews back might take a bit of pressure off by giving them more time of possession, and having and Lang back on Left Tackle helps the line stand another second or two which gives Rogers the time he needs to work that magic.

I think we are going to see a better Packer team tomorrow.
It will be a good game but Cutler may take the ambulance home.

I got the RedZone with Dish and it really gives you a pretty good view of the games all across the league, I thought it would be the usual crap they throw at you but it really is an improvement to me.

Oh yeah we are going to get to watch the Lions pull body parts off the local beer leaguers, the best thing that could happen is the rain collapses the building giving them a good excuse to forfeit..

Glo,

I've seen "Brian's Song" with James Caan; I think it was a TV movie. Very sad, for sure. I remember seeing the real Brian Piccolo play for the Bears.

I've never seen Ghost because I don't like Whoppi.

I have seen a British version of "Ghost" called "Truly, Madly, Deeply" (1990). It was excellent as most British films are.

I guess now we will see another big push from the clueless liberals for total gun control. Laurie Roberts and Montini are whining already. They are too dumb to know that it's the idiots that do the shooting that are to blame and they will always find another gun no matter how scarce they become.

I would hate to get the job of going into Kentucky or Tennesse and trying to confiscate guns.

Its never going to happen. There are so many guns out there it would be impossible to get them all.

Like you, I am glad the guy killed himself. That makes it a bit more convenient and saves a lot of money and time on legal stuff that will get the fool life at the expense of the taxpayers.

It's frustrating because the shooters can never be identified until they have done their deed. We just have to hope it doesn't happen again although we know it will.

Glo said...

Jim, Kentucky or Tennessee??? Try disarming TEXAS, LOL! I personally think it's ridiculous to have more than one of the same type of gun per person, but that's people's right. And the bad guys & crazy guys are going to arm themselves regardless of how many laws we have on the books. It's also stupid whne poeple defnde themselves and then get arrested and/or sued by the offender or his family and the 'justice' system. My mom interfaced with the police a lot when she worked in the Housing Authority of Hartford, and she told me that once a cop told her, if you have to shoot someone in self-defense, and he's outside your house, drag him inside before calling the police. Amen.

I saw that Streisand photo and the dead whale story. Apparently it was giving off quite an odor and Babs was concerned. Tough! She is an incredible "never was".

I guess Hillary fainted and got a concussion so she can't testify. That sounds a bit iffy to me. I don't trust this administration to do anything that is above board.

Benghazi doesn't seem to want to go away as hard as the Dems try to make it go. I would love to see it become another Watergate and see O resign as Nixon did.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself to to wake up and realize the illogical points of view some of these people take.

Naturally Roberts and Montini and Bloomberg were in full voice today. These people don't realize that life isn't always fair and that the nuts will do things like Newton whether we like it or not and whether guns are illegal or not.

They will say "Yeah, but if guns weren't so easy to get, maybe it wouldn't have happened."

That's bullshit. It would have happened. It's just that the guy would have had to probably pay more for a gun through the underground. However, he WOULD have had his gun.

It's like a guy in a clothing store in London told me in 1986: "Sir, you can get anything you want in London."

Great line and true. Ed Klein is right in his book "The Amateur" about Obama.

I was slack jawed when I heard the president of the US say, "If I had a son, he would look just like Trayvon."

I wonder how many in the know in the Washington scene cringed when they heard that. The president of the US had no details but put himself on the line like that.

The dumbest ass in the world would know better than that. The work of a true amateur.

The guy is in for four more years and I can't believe he isn't going to do something real stupid and blow the presidency.

I can just see Biden getting inaugurated in his best outfit and wearing white socks.

It will be interesting to see how Stafford does after the 58-0 game last week.

The Bears are going the wrong way now. I heard rumors that Lovie may be out at the end of the season.

Cutler is a head case, doesn't want any advice. He has had a concussion against Dallas and is probably still feeling the effects

Jim, I'm an NRA member, have been for 30 years, and every month I get their magazine in my e-mail. My favorite part is the article called the "Armed Citizen" with stories from around America where people defend themselves with guns. Most of the time the criminals are shot dead. I always love happy endings.

My favorite story was about a woman that was home alone with her children upstairs when two men kicked in her front door and entered the home. She calmly picked up an AR-15 and walked out in the balcony and racked a round into the chamber. The bad guys heard that and couldn't get out of the house fast enough.

Always remember when seconds count the police are minutes away. It pays to be armed.

Rick Kepple said...

Well Jim, it looks like Nick went to stay in that church in the forest thing, affectionately known as the "convent." I've seen this religion meltdown before.

I'll have to go on Youtube to find, "Election." I've probably seen it.

"If I wake up and see someone trying to get in my back door, I'll wait until he is about 10 feet in then blow him away. Hopefully on the tile: it cleans up easier."

Ten feet is too close, Jimmy. In the Army, we were trained to halt them at ten paces. That's about 30 feet. Mythbusters also proved this to be true, cause a person with a knife can charge and stab you within 30 feet.

"Halt! Who is there!?" No response. Speak louder. The state police taught me to NEVER fire a warning shot. That's a threat. That's illegal. If they keep coming, just remember to tell the cops that you "felt in fear for your life," and open fire. Do not approach the attacker. Do not try to offer assistance. Call the police, keep your firearm trained on the individual from behind cover and if they die, not your problem. No one forced them to break into your house to try and kill you.

Jimmy, the disabled and elderly are targets. Fricking kids think we're weak, Jimmy.

My brother, a teacher, hates guns. I wonder how he feels about packing a gun now.

..did the moon actually crash into Missouri last night?

I suppose you have noticed we don't get an early game on Fox today.. we get the Denver game, but nothing on Fox- just pre game and then curling re runs, Cindy Crawford cosmetics or something.

I guess the Chicago/Packers game is nothing special- it's just a mid December game over first place in the NFC north...
but yep I checked...the Cardinals are on the afternoon game today fighting in a battle of 4 and 9's for our respect and playing for a win that will lock their place in the playoffs.

Living in Phoenix means we get Sunday football that is just as dependable as having the neighbor bring his dog over to crap on your lawn every Sunday.
God I wish they would move the worthless franchise out of here or change the blackout rules so we would at least get better games on tv.

So I am already pissed over that and I read that some messican named Gurrola was illegally target practicing at the Newport Beach mall parking lot yesterday.
The report says over 50 rounds were fired once again proving that booze and firearms don't mix.

And here I assumed everybody knew that shooting a gun at a mall while it is open for business was illegal all over the West Coast Unicorn Reserve- silly me.

Apparently we either need more laws or the state should provide an English legal translator for guys like Gurrola.
So I ask the Reasonable Man question Clownafornia style...were there any signs in Spanish at the mall advising him?

It's obvious to me he is another victim of California's outlandish immigration policy that evidently and erroneously includes illegals obeying our restrictions applied to gun laws that were intended for whites only-
I think he has a lawsuit.

Either allow illegals to shoot and drink wherever they wish or provide them assistance in understanding, after all our white bread laws were never intended for migrating pre-citizens who only come here for an opportunity to start a new life- ole'

Crips and Bloods shooting it up is a different situation, besides being Clownafornia's home grown problems they normally just kill and maim each other by doing comparatively civilized drive by's in their own neighborhoods every weekend... so it's not a big problem.
Modern sociologists consider the phenomenon just an interesting side bar of the "thinning the herd" type of Darwinism on display to the point the news media ignores it..

Rick Kepple said...

The moon did not crash into Missouri last night. It was merely an optical illusion. The moon can't actually crash into anything. Yes, sometimes it looks like it might, but it's miles from the earth. Don't worry Middy Little. The sky is not falling.

These dumb ass liberals think that because someone has a gun they are a nut hell bound to shoot someone. We know that isn't rue. In fact, I probably have never shot my .38 more than 20 times in the 45 years I have owned it. But if the situation ever presents itself,
I want to be ready. In these times anyone who isn't ready is foolish.

The liberal belief that everyone is good is pure BS. It's sad that we have to have protection but it certainly is better than the alternative.

Absolutely! I still say send the Cards to L. A. That's what Bidwill was threatening if he didn't get Jiffy Pop built.

Unfortunately the suckers heeded his threat. I loved it when they drew 20,000 at ASU and Timm Rosenbach was QB.

Jim more crazy liberals in the letters to the editor today. Some guy wants the NRA declared a terrorist organization and the leadership jailed.

Liberals have to be the dumbest people on earth.

I've been on the azcentral blogs about the shooting at the school. All the libs on the blogs want more gun control and a ban on assault weapons. I posed a question to all of them to describe what an assault weapon is. Not one has replied because they don't have a clue.

Most of them don't know the difference between automatic or semi-automatic weapons. They don't know the difference between a clip and a magazine. The usual suspects are Ed Montini and Laurie Roberts.

Gotta go and send a donation to my NRA. That should the libs over the edge.

Mike Slater said...

Can't wait for the Cardinals to lose the 10th game in a row, should be fun.

Jim McAllister said...

Middy,

Cutler went nuts on the bench in a clip I saw. It came after an interception.

Peyton Manning is unreal. I was watching Denver kill Baltimore and manning was having a field day. Denver was brilliant to grab him.

Go Lions!

Jim McAllister said...

Mike,

I saw those letters. Liberals are clueless as always. One of their big problems is that they actually think all people are good. At least Teddy Roosevelt thought one should speak softly but he also added and "carry a big stick."

Montini and Roberts both have good jobs. All they have to do is wait for a Republican to say something then write about how wrong they are. It's so easy, it's like stealing. The same with Benson. He may be the most worthless of the three. Just because he had a beef with the Mormons, he gets a license to draw his nonsense.

I'm glad we still have Doug MacEachern.

Jim McAllister said...

Mike,

If Detroit takes them today, I think the 12 game losing streak will happen. I don't see them beating the Bears or SF.

If I was Whisenhunt, I would be preparing a resume.

steve buzzardo said...

I was right of course, like I said the Pack will win the division!

I sure is a beautiful day here in AZ.

Middy gave me a good idea for a new reality show: Send a skinny white nerd with a semi-auto rifle to So Central LA to kill gangbangers. At least they all deserve to die, and it will provide a public service.

midnightsstaff said...

I think they have no chance over the Lions today.. that is a tough division to live in, the Lions aren't as soft as you might think- they had a pretty tough schedule the last month...they lost to Texas by a couple and to Indy by a couple.

I was more worried about them than the Bears at the start of the season.

Adrian Peterson might be the best running back in the past ten years, too bad the Pack doesn't have him.

..next level of depravity is for Seu to start taking "trophys"- you know like gloves, shoes, ears, fingers... etc.
today would be a nice day for him to get kicked out of a game.

Middy,

The Cards must have been really stoked for that game since it was basically a battle for worst in the NFC.

Plus, Detroit has to really be bad to lose by 28 to the Cardinals. They didn't look THAT bad against the Packers. Over confidence maybe?

Anyway, other than being a curiosity game, who cares?

How about the 49ers and NE tonight? One of the best games I have seen in a long time.

I thought Kaepernick was going to be exposed as a rookie in the second half but he came back nice with that final TD pass.

I thought NE would win it when they tied the score. But, a great run back and a great pass play and SF was back on top.

Great stuff. More proof of why I love the NFL.

Too bad the Bengals blew that game against Dallas. It looks big now with Baltimore and Pittsburgh losing today.

MVP? Peyton!

I was reading that straight women will actually go with gays with the "needle in the haystack theory" of finding a straight guy with a gay friend. Apparently women who do this have the intention of finding a life mate.

The top ten places to meet a single women is NOT a ball game. I've seen single women at ball games in the past, but I guess they aren't there to pick up a guy. They're there to watch the game.

The number one place to pick up a woman is at a bar. Church falls in there somewhere and the gym is number nine. Your favorite restaurant is number 10. I haven't ever picked up a woman in any of those places. It was always random places.

I'm not sure about the Needle in the Haystack Theory. I already have a lot of gay dudes hitting on me. Every man does these days.

Where's the single women? Playing on a basketball team, that's where. So maybe I'll start going to women's sports games. I always favored volleyball. The women's shorts are tighter.

It won't last.

The Evil in America is going to demand we nationalize the Constitution away from the citizens and adopt the same method Mexico does to make sure the only ones in that country that have firearms are the cartels and the Federales.. which eventually become interchangeable as to their effect on society.

Yeah when they start getting serious about picking them up is when the war will begin, The coming war won't be fought with tanks and howitzers but with booby traps and ambushes on Liberty's side, but keep in mind they have a lot of chemical and biological weapons at their disposal and are evil enough to use them on their own citizens.
Think of Bareback Obama as a modern Sadam Hussein and us as the Kurds.

War is the last thing any nation needs to subject itself to but seems to be the first choice of those who haven't actually been in one, understand that the easiest part of a war is getting into one.

Declaring war on the US is playing right into Evil's hands, just be warned.

Do you really think that a president who gave weapons to drug cartels in Mexico is not capable of giving ak's to gangbangers in Chicago?- in fact there is a lot of evidence piling up that he already is.

He is pure evil.

Rick Kepple said...

The Connecticut shooting was expected. Is that a sick thing to say?

President Obama will use this mass murder to push for the disarmament of the American people and all they had to do was wait for this to happen. If the public doesn't want firearm confiscation, there will be more mass murders until the public begs to be protected.

It is insane to suggest that the federal government knows these things will occur and they do nothing. What kind of people could do that?

You MUST UNDERSTAND that this is the secret world of global politics and in order to create the Perfect World, ugly things must happen to make the population want to be stabilized.

Consider that there are allegedly drones flying over America. Heck, I've had planes circling my farm and the military experiments with new camera systems in Cessnas before putting them into production. This has been published in the Army Times and it's not fabricated information.

Consider that President Bush authorized the monitoring of our communications.

Cell phone companies keep our texts and conversations for up to seven years.

The FBI has said in stories that they can listen to our conversations when the cell phone is off.

There are companies that are paid by the government to accumulate video from all those digital cameras at stop lights, in parking lots, stores, etc. and Big Brother is watching.

The NSA has the largest computer center in Utah listening to EVERYONE.

So why is it that Gun Control is their answer to our safety? The key word is Control.

By 2016, America will be a very different place and people will ask for this control.

"What we really want to do is create a safe environment," a psychologist on Today said on Monday referring to the safety in schools.

You must understand how things are done in the world. People die and that's a fact, but it's the Bigger Picture that is important. To create the perfect world where rich folks are not the target of terroism. Mass murder will always happen, even with sporks, but the rich find it unacceptable to be like the rest of us - targets.

Count on change in 2013 and there's nothing anyone can do about it. There are people who want the NWO and they will use this tragedy in CT to further their agenda. Sick, I know. These same people destroyed Communism twenty years ago then when times got tough, they took their money to save their own asses.

Control changes with time.

Keep in mind that this little monster had a history of mental illness and was prescribed psychotropic drugs....

So the answer is to make all of America a gun free zone eh?- talk about maintaining a position of cognitive dissidence in the face of overwhelming indicators...
States like Arizona and Texas don't have these type of outrages- it's impossible to prove a negative but the all the indicators seem to point to a correlation between maintaining an armed society and public safety.

So maybe we should just once and for all make murder illegal in America, isn't that what they are trying to do with a demand to disarm us so as to make loading us into cattle trucks easier by make defending ourselves illegal..

After all isn't that what the gun nazis are demanding this morning? that we just make their job easier?

Besides they would rather have you talking about this than what happened in Bengazi..

These kind of people make me sick.

I've been on the blogs since Friday talking about the shooting and all the liberals have to say is we need more gun control and to ban certain guns.

I hope there is a special place in hell for anti-gun liberals.

midnightsstaff said...

.."It may pass the senate but would fail in the house"

are you sure about that?
Around last year this time I would have bet my life that John Roberts was a defender of the Constitution, the one we had to worry about was a guy named Kennedy- I was exactly wrong.

Two months ago I would have bet any amount of money on the rejection of evil in this nation and the election of an imperfect but surging Romney and Ryan candidacy- I was exactly wrong.

Like many I believed that surely the many acts of terrorism and treason committed by this monster who stole an election would be vindicated just like they told us in eighth grade civics.. the power of the polls- bullshit!- I was exactly wrong.

I and ever other decent person in the nation was sold out by the Republican party.. the very party we now are hoping might see their way to let us defend ourselves from them?

..no mike you had better prepare for the worst.

Nothing is to be taken for granted any longer, the door is off the hinges and the wolves are inside.

Everyone had better think about it because while we are sleeping at night the mother.....er's are up writing laws and regulations and getting their stooges in a row.

The saying "they always come for you in the middle of the night" is the mother of all parallel truths in a police state.

I have worked in a true police state, a men's prison- where at any moment we could strip em out on the track or tell them to get down or get shot- cuff them up and search their persons or cell, for any or no reason- that's a police state.

Do you think that the local police will not carry out their mission?- all that has to be done is to convince the young cops in a couple of months of academy life that the patriots are actually a threat, and with their public school indoctrination that has gone on for decades that is not hard at all.

I learned to hate Vietnamese way before I ever saw one, ask anyone who has ever gone through Parris Island or Hollywood San Diego- behavior modification can be a powerful weapon.

Keep in mind they have something to blackmail nearly every chair head of the Republican party with and control them, every shady deal made in the past, every bribe taken by bag men for lobbying interests- they keep records on these guys to use in the future, just like they played Patreaus for two years..

The mere threat of exposing the Republipukes terrifies them, they got pictures of them in various perverted sex acts that go on in Washington on a daily basis- half of them are switch hitters or like farm animals.

Gingrich was torpedoed by a mere picture of him and a dog on a bench discussing global warming, just imagine him pillow talking with an actual sheep.

Those raw FBI files at Justice's disposal have a lot of incriminating evidence on the Republican brand of criminal statesmen..
..how else can you explain their consistent lack of backbone?

Jim McAllister said...

Mike,

It's fun to laugh at those off the wall, self righteous losers. They are always ready to pounce regardless of the situation.

Sure, Newtown is horrible but if that kid's mother didn't have the guns he would have got them somewhere. That's what they forget about: If someone really wants big time guns, they can get them. It may take a couple days longer and cost more, but they are available.

It's the same for Omaha, Colorado, and even the Texas tower killer of the 60s. THEY WILL GET GUNS SOMEWHERE IF THEY REALLY WANT THEM.

If all guns were banned, the crooks would really be in heaven. They would have guns and everyone else would be unarmed.

That's the kind of logic we can expect from liberals.

"he just said they were going to arrest anyone for passing unofficial and speculative information.."

No, they said they would arrest "independent journalists." Ask yourselves, Why?

I knew that the government was just waiting for a tragedy that shocked the nation to push their agendas.

Early reports back on about page 20 of Google searches have stories of two handguns being found at the scene and now the weapon is a Bushmaster assault weapon. So which story is correct?

Obviously it's the mainstream stories. We independent journalists are evil.

Remember me telling you that I sold my AR-15 and why? Because I knew some massacre would happen and the government would use it as an excuse. I also know that at some point, they will get rid of me by saying that I'm nuts. I know the secrets.

Again, I sold that rifle two weeks before this shooting. Coincidence? Hardly.

Did you know that I wrote to Connecticut during the election and told them to beef up school security? Suddenly, independent journalists are the problem.

Do you realize the backlash if that email is found? The secrets upon secrets. Black op programs.

And there is no place that is safe from those people. Truth, or the threat of truth, is my only insurance.

But the VA could easily just say that I'm nuts and the headlines would read how the feds have done a great service by arresting a crazy independent journalist, put me in a mental institution.

Then SN will be targeted. She'll likely die of a drug overdose and the mainstream media will say that they knew it all the time.

Like my older brother likes to remind me; no good deed goes unpunished.

Independent journalists are the threat. Nice. get rid of the guns then kill all the writers.

Thanks Middy for the link. I posted it on Facebook.

There are police who are also looking at prescription drug side effects as a possible cause for the violence. I also believe the mass murders are connected to the suicides of veterans and soldiers. It's possible that the threat is elevated by alcohol use.

I'm glad that I sold that rifle now. The electric guitar is a lot more fun.

Now would be a good time for SN to say all bubbly, "I've got a friend who sold his assault rifle and bought a guitar!" But she won't.

Well, if no one believes me or Middy, maybe they'll believe the federal government.

You're not supposed to mix alcohol with prescription drugs. The feds say so on this website: http://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/Medicine/medicine.htm

So the government knows that prescription drugs have dangerous side effects and that threat is compounded by alcohol.

So ban alcohol. But the government needs alcohol to control people. It's much better for the rich folks who don't want working folks to own guns.

You guys would not qualify for "rich folks." You're the ones they'll be disarming. Possibly as a pilot program!

Aspergers and they wanted me on those fricking drugs!

You guys said yourselves that I was delusional! What if I was being made into a killer? What if my crazy ass centering on SN and the electric guitar saved my bacon?

Look, the government knows what I can do. They would assume that I'm in their heads, so to speak. That I'd figure it out ... or HAD figured it out and didn't know it.

If they arrest me or I mysteriously die, you guys need to get out of the country. I doubt it happens, but targeting independent writers and aspergers?

All they got to do is say that I'm dangerous and the VA has already alluded to that. Then they can shut me up and they can turn this nation into the USSR.

I sold my AR-15 and bought an electric guitar. I had this overwhelming feeling that I was being set up.

They could say that I got suicidal and had to shoot me. They could let a stalker through. If the government wants you dead, there's no where you can hide. They got JFK by just letting it happen. That's how they got Lennon. They almost got Reagan, if not for a dumb, homeless kid and a dream.

It's mystifying to me is how the fact that the Democrat party was established by slave owners at the foundation of the nation is lost on the population.
Also how easy it is to keep fooling them with the same tired old lies.

But then I have idiot relatives myself that prefer plantation life- some have fooled themselves into thinking they won't be working the fields but watching the workers- have they got a shock coming.

Rick Kepple said...

"Every photo Obama allows taken of him is a deliberate pose. Why can't his devout followers see that?"

It depends on who is taking the photos and the circumstances. President Bush and others have posed also. Hollywood celebs are the same way. If a camera is pointed their way, they automatically pose.

Good observation though.

"It's mystifying to me is how the fact that the Democrat party was established by slave owners at the foundation of the nation is lost on the population."

Middy, that argument might work with the average person, but back then, the two parties were reversed. The Republicans were the liberals. I think they switched roles over a period of about 40 years.

midnightsstaff said...

I'll be charitable and assume you are referring to the switching of the labels that went on in the FDR administration with them re defining the term Classical Liberalism from a group that I belong.
..they even changed their party color in the 90's from Red to Blue because of it's reference to Communism.

But the Calhoon led Democrat party was born with slavery in it's plank and now has adopted collectivism in lieu.

here, read this pre war speech by "democrat man" J.C.Calhoon.

http://teachingamericanhistory.org/library/index.asp?document=944

.."If he should possess a philosophical turn of mind, and be disposed to look to more remote and recondite causes, he will trace it to a proposition which originated in a hypothetical truism, but which, as now expressed and now understood, is the most false and dangerous of all political errors. The proposition to which I allude, has become an axiom in the minds of a vast majority on both sides of the Atlantic, and is repeated daily from tongue to tongue, as an established and incontrovertible truth; it is that "all men are born free and equal"

..these are words straight from Hell Rick.

Forced collectivism always leads to slavery, the Democrat party goals have not changed so it's just a change of terminology- the concept of slavery today just comes in a different package.

Ya see, decent people actually believe that part in the founding documents that spoke of those Inalienable Rights which can only come from God and not from man..

The term "Inalienable" itself is a acquiescence to a Creator and we can't have that concept in the Democrat party can we?

No thinking man supports the concept of slavery, Republicans never have because they simply cannot.
Many prominent democrats have been active in the KKK, but try to name one prominent Republican.

However the plantation mentality lives on in the minds of the collectivist, they have just moved the location of that plantation from Virginia and Georgia to Washington D.C.

Really Rick don't try to school me on what and what the Republican party is, I know them a whole lot better than you.
I have been one since 68- and just recently decided to shit can them for good- I didn't change, the party changed they have simply rotted from within and now needs to be replaced.

I require a party that gives more than lip service to the Constitution and it's philosophy.

Global warming update****

The country has not witnessed such a long cold spell since 1938, meteorologists said, with temperatures 10 to 15 degrees lower than the seasonal norm all over Russia.
Across the country, 45 people have died due to the cold, and 266 have been taken to hospitals. In total, 542 people were injured due to the freezing temperatures, RIA Novosti reported.
The Moscow region saw temperatures of -17 to -18 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, and the record cold temperatures are expected to linger for at least three more days. Thermometers in Siberia touched -50 degrees Celsius, which is also abnormal for December"

what was that again about global warming?

Well I fought the bastards off my electric meter... for now, it's a small victory but the only one I have had since 2010 elections.

I barricaded them off my mortgage payment when they came to replace my perfectly fine meter they put in a few years ago with a "smart" meter... they finally sent me a concession letter yesterday.. but I expect they will be back- they never quit, they never rest..

It's amazing to me that the news organizations are so short sighted as to believe they could hide behind a cash firewall without being a true cartel.
They might have gotten somewhere if they had organized and sold access to a group, granting access to a network instead of trying to rob you alone, how are you going to hold the gun on someone and rifle their pockets at the same time?
you need an assistant or better yet a gang.

Maintaining ten or so monthly subscriptions is a no starter for the bulk of their readers, a home delivery giving you access to a whole network might sweeten the deal enough to make it work.
but they have pretty much destroyed their own brand now.. call the undertaker.
I wonder how long the Az. Repugnant can hold on..

If they continue to refuse honest reporting they are going to have to get some leverage somehow- they have damaged their subscription therefore their advertising model with no forethought to the inevitable.

Seems like Gannett or other groups would have thought of selling access to their entire empire with a month to month subscription and split the profits..
too greedy and too stupid for their own good- oh but they are liberals, silly me.

BTW, I live on top of a tall ridge that some folks call an Ozark mountain, and it is necessary to have four-wheel drive in the winter. Before I won the VA claim, I used to have to park at the bottom of the mountain and walk more than a mile home ... most of it uphill.

Also, communities in the Midwest are shut down after just an inch of snow, because employers are hiring children as supervisors and Mommy and Daddy have to go pick up the little tyrants. So in retaliation, the adults changed the snow day rules.

There's a little bit of truth in that bit of bullshit that I just wrote.

This company that owns the stock exchange, sold it to another company that it also owns. See, this is why I don't understand business.

Why does it sound like the NYSE is about to do something? What would they be doing? Creating tax shelters? That's very plausible. Preparing for a collapse so it doesn't injure the parent company? Why would they sell the NYSE? What strategic advantage is there in shifting an investment company? Is it good or bad? Is it a signal? An economic pole shift? Is the NWO positioning itself? Maybe they just thought it was a nifty thing to do and they were bored.

Yeah, I'm pissed but not for myself but for my kids and grandkid's assured lifetime of debt slavery you just committed them to..

eat your peas Rick and quit whining- this is going to be a wreck like this nation has never experienced and a whole lot of people are not going to make it.

Mike,

No question about it, gout is REALLY painful.

Apparently it is the accumulation of some kind of crystals in joints like the big toe.

That's not very scientific sounding but the pain is sure legitimate.

I haven't had a problem for a number of years now as i take a pill for it that keeps it under control.

"fire one administrator and hire an armed guard.."

exactly what I was thinking.

I can't believe the idiotic comments from people who are against having an armed guard in a school. Like somehow the guards gun will start firing by itself.

I've heard 3 different times now that the killer left the AR-15 in the trunk of the car. So someone is lying just so they can blame those evil "assault weapons"

Oh I don't use my free Obamaphone, Middy! It's too pretty! I've never seen a phone with gold and diamonds before! Neato!

"eat your peas Rick and quit whining- "

I like peas. I can't drink wine though, so I won't be whining. I don't understand that fancy trend of peas and wine. Must be a Scottsdale thing.

So what's up with NYSE selling and appearing to juggle the books? No one really did address that.

"I've heard 3 different times now that the killer left the AR-15 in the trunk of the car. So someone is lying just so they can blame those evil "assault weapons" "

The initial reports were handguns and the assault rifle left in the car. Then suddenly it was the assault rifle and no mention of handguns. Then suddenly there is this massive push toward disarmament.

Told ya that they'd wait until violence happened, then pass laws. Told ya over and over again. All they have to do is wait. Course my doc would say "they" is just paranoid. The government isn't out to get me.

Steve,

Good point but try and tell the liberals the gun won't start firing automatically.

You're dealing with people who used to wear beads and earth shoes while they lit their peace candles. Getting rid of guns is just another dumb ass cause for them as they they thin kt he gun is self- firing.

Gee, I wonder why these shootings haven't been happening all our lives since guns have always been available during that time. Maybe, just maybe, the mentality has changed due to some outside source like movies, games, drugs, or TV.

Banning guns is not the solution but try telling that to the lemmings.

check out this video of a grief stricken parent going on the assault on the second amendment... some serious psychological issues in this liberal family that's for sure.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

But on a happier note, it seems there might be a glimmer of hope for saving the Coyotes concerning it's pending sale.

It appears the new owners are waiting to see what the new contract entails before finalizing the sale but have come to an agreement with the COG.
at least that's the way I understand it..
sure getting tired of no NHL.

going to get real ugly after the superbowl is over with nothing to take it's place.

Go Cardinals!

- please, just go.

Jim, when I was in High School back in the 60's I had an old pickup truck I drove to school with my rifle in a gun rack so I could go hunting after school. We never had any shootings at my school.

Can you imagine that happening today?

Instead of banning guns we should ban liberals.

Talked to salespeople in Walmart's Sporting Goods department and asked if they'd stopped selling assault rifles. No, they said. They sold them all. More have been ordered and there is a long list.

If the feds have a plan to work with media to brainwash the public to give up their guns, it's obviously not working.

Look at it like this; if we were a foreign country and their people were buying this many guns, what would you expect would eventually happen?

midnightsstaff said...

I've been living in a foreign country for quite a few years now, once I woke up to the con game these heartless bastards were up to a lot of things started making a lot more sense.
I've pretty much quit watching even Neil Cavuto or my brother in pointing out absurdity John Stossel.
I am just tired of listening to the same old arguments with lunatics and terrorists.

No one really knows what is going on anymore, we get a line of ca-ca from every mainstream media outlet and altho Fox is better- they have their explaining to do on a few matters.

I'm getting to the level of cynicism I don't even trust myself or my instincts anymore, after all I am dipping at the well of entitlements right along with a lot of other well meaning Americans.

.. an issue that the hot chick has pointed out numerous times..
she must have met mr right or won the lotto, seems to have disappeared.

How do I know if I am not just deluding myself on the issues?
I just know that no one on the national level is voicing my opinion, and hasn't for quite a while now.

Mitt Romney probably wouldn't have done as well as he said he would with what's coming, but we have a demonic influence running the asylum and I don't see any good news on the horizon.
ah.. the joy of the Season.

tomorrow we will try the garland one more time, Rebecca seemed to think it was another toy and it went worse the first try than with the lights.

I've had a concealed carry permit for 15 years. I carry to protect myself and my family and that's it. In all that time I've never had to even show my gun and I prefer it that way.

To liberals, because I'm an NRA member and a gun owner, I'm part of the problem with these mass killings at schools and movie houses. Go figure.

actually I kind of expected to see them hold up a picture of Mike Slater on this CNN exclusive..

Middy, you can't be serious. With so many programs and government agents watching Americans, how did Sandy Hook happen? Unless it's all bullshit for control and then it would suggest that the government is using Sandy Hook and our conscience to force gun control and more importantly, population control. Aspergers Syndrome people are the enemy. Me and people like me.

They're trying to say that it's Aspergers Syndrome. People like me.

And you people will do precisely as you do and make money, play golf, all the time, you are actually controlled. Guilded invisible fences. Psychological control. Fear of losing what you have.

Alcohol and prescription drugs keep others controlled.

The National Organization on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. Some prescription drugs will magnify what is already there. Alcohol will intensify those effects. http://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/Medicine/medicine.htm

Now you compare that with the marijuana study. In the opening statement, the document says that marijuana causes less violence than alcohol. The entire article says that they predictably know how people will behave on marijuana, suggesting they are preparing to legalize it, but that would be to control the population. It's not cause the government wants people to enjoy life. That's control in and of itself. What it doesn't mention is that the VA advocates marijuana for PTSD? http://adai.washington.edu/marijuana/factsheets/aggression.htm

I don't believe we are being watched, Middy. I believe we are being manipulated and controlled economically, socially and psychologically.

What Middy is saying is much more dangerous than my theory. Middy believes that the government watched that kid plan his attack and they did nothing. Now they're using 20 children to disarm Americans. It's actually a very provable theory, since the feds have said they are indeed listening and watching all of us.

It means that the administration are accomplices. They could have prevented this massacre or they are using it to control innocent people, or both.

Well, our 'triple-a-football team,' aka "The Buffalo Bills," have signed a 10 year lease to stay in Western New York.

Recent figures show that the 'White Tail Deer' are declining in many states. Can't figure it out, why everyday there is a suicide by deer on the local highways. I hear these on the police scanner.

As for 'assault rifles,' you can not really go hunting with them, unless you want to kill of a herd of deer.

Oh, well, have a nice week.

Dave, Glad to see the Bills will stay in Buffalo. They are an original AFL team and have a lot of great tradition from guys like Jack Kemp and Cookie Gilcrist.
