EXTRA! EXTRA! DON'T FAINT; AZ REPUBLIC ENDORSES ROMNEY! (Sunday 10-21-12) edition)

Editorial Endorsement for President

ROMNEY CAN LEAD ECONOMY FORWARD

The last U.S. president to attempt transformative social change on the scale attempted by President Barack Obama was Lyndon B. Johnson, who in 1964 launched his Great Society.

Times were different then. At the end of Johnson’s term, the national debt stood at just $353 billion, representing an annual growth rate during the five-plus years of Johnson’s presidency of just over 3 percent.
The nation’s debts then were under control.

Fair or not, the debt monster since then has grown unimaginably, forcing its harsh reality into every new discussion about federal spending.

Not counting long-term unfunded liabilities tied to Social Security and to many of those Johnson-era programs, the nation is more than $16 trillion in real-time debt, one of the greatest financial-debt burdens in modern history.

Our belief that Republican Mitt Romney should be elected the 45th president of the United States is anchored in that
tough reality. We believe the nation’s best opportunity to escape the compounding woes of spiraling debt and economic stagnation lies with a president who believes in the free market’s capacity to heal its own wounds.

That leader is Romney. The nation’s economy now is in desperate need of the kind of jobs-creating animal spirits that President Romney would encourage.

The economy indisputably will benefit, perhaps significantly, from a flatter, fairer system of taxation along the lines proposed by Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan.

It will benefit, too, from a regulatory environment that does not smother small businesses with punitive, anticompetitive, hoop-jumping requirements that favor their bigger competitors. We expect a Romney administration to foster that kind of growth oriented, business-friendly environment.

But, more to the point, we expect better job growth in a Romney economy mostly because
Mitt Romney does not fear or dislike a free-wheeling, growing, free-market economy.

We cannot say the same of President Obama.

In our judgment, the economy will not fully revive under Obama. Certainly not to the degree it would thrive if Washington, D.C., would only get past its current “Dodd-Frank” frame of mind, its free-market- fearing sense that the terrible times will come crashing back if Washington lets those scalawags of the private sector loose again.

The president’s proposals for a second administration project scant hope that the
economy will do much more than stumble forward at the current, anemic, sub-2 percent rate of growth. The 23 million Americans either unemployed, scraping by in part-time, lowpaid jobs or not looking for work anymore need to see a commitment to revival. And, simply put, Obama isn’t offering them much. Not in his vision of the future as illustrated in debates thus far. And certainly not in the record of his first term as president.

The reason Obama’s infamous “You didn’t build that” comment on July 13 in Roanoke, Va., resonated among his political opponents wasn’t because it revealed some great secret.

It resonated because it validated a suspicion that the president has done little to dismiss. He has consolidated federal power and reach in health care, banking, the auto industry and energy production. He has fostered the view that all good economic things flow from Washington.

Obama’s very first proposal to revive the economy — initiated in February 2009 when
the economy was shedding more than 600,000 jobs a month — in fact was highlighted in large part by his plans for government-centric health-care reform. That, remember, was when we learned how crises were too valuable to waste.

Mitt Romney, certainly, would not a perfect president make. But he is far, far removed from the grotesque caricature of the heartless plutocrat created by the Obama campaign and its allies.

Democrats from Bill Clinton to Cory Booker defended Romney’s work at the muchmaligned Bain Capital for a reason: because it has been financial engines like Bain that have helped power the American economy.

America needs a return to that kind of economic power, that kind of jobs-creating energy.

The nation’s best chance for reviving those spirits lies with Mitt Romney.
The Arizona Republic recommends Mitt Romney for president of the United States.

It looks like Benson, Valdez, and Montini aren't the only ones working for the Republic!

I guess their "charge" model wasn't as popular to all the idiot liberals who support that third rate periodical... well duh. Liberals pay for anything on their own?

Only a jackass would keep Valdez, Benson, and Montini on staff and still take a monopolistic newspaper and nose dive it into the ground in the 5th largest city in the country. It really, really takes effort to fail at that.

sam said...

This appears to be a copy-cat rendition of the current Obama economic program.....we have no profits so let us attach fees to everything which might induce the readers to pay more for the same or lesser monopolistic product.
If they had a product which people could refer to with confidence of accuracy and productive information, they would not be in the hole they are in.
Why should general public pay for something advertisers back away from. The Republic is operated by, employs, and endorses those the public has little or no trust in...or even directly opposes.
What evidence exists that the Republic is not simply playing a Obama rope-a-dope.

Neo-Liberals need very much to look up and understand the duality of the term - Inevitability. There is simply no more time left to pray in the Liberal Church of – Change. This country is heading for a fiscal cliff of enormous economic consequence.

Anyone with half a brain can hear the sound of the gigantic waterfall ahead; it’s no longer theoretical, but quite real.

Yes, Romney has some serious faults (like zero comprehension of the Middle East time bomb), but we know that he has the inherent capability to overcome them - once he’s seated in the command chair. But most importantly, we know he has the ability to see – Economic Reality.

Obama on the other hand never had and, most likely, never will have such situation command or vision as Romney. And though it is not my intent to be unkind in a partisan manner- simply truthful, he is the essence of an Al Sharpton with a Harvard education.

It is time for the ‘Great Black American Experiment’ to be over. Up the road, and I feel quite confident stating this as an American Black, we can try again, in led dangerous times, with a more qualified candidate.

This nation needs to save itself via the voting booth this November 6th - or we're effectively - doomed!

The Republic endorsed Romney, Bush both times he ran, McCain and Kyl every time they ran, ultra Conservative Trent Franks, so I often wonder why Conservative bloggers call the Republic "The Repugnant"

Sure Valdez, Montini and Benson are Liberal but the Editorial Board tells us the Arizona is indeed a Conservative paper.........

Baghdad don W.. glad to see you are still producing at least one beneficial commodity to the world- carbon dioxide..
..keep it up buddy the trees appreciate it.

The failed newspaper of record somehow overlooked the part about him being a red diaper doper baby-
..it must have been an oversight.

This is the only recent example of a true communist being elected to such a high office in the world's history..

Putin doesn't count, Russia despite it's size is a third world nation with a first class military..
Venezuela could be considered as possibly a close second- Greece is about ready to embrace the neo nazi, fascist "Golden Dawn party"so things might be rough in Europe soon.

Yes don.. be extra careful as to not vote for George Bush this time- push it all the way through when you vote for another dose of pure evil, we sure don't need any hanging chads..

My opinion has not changed one bit.. except now I believe that anyone that voted for this cancerous pinko in '08 should permanently be restricted by law from ever voting in this nation again.

midnightsstaff said...

Oh don I forgot to ask, who do you think won the First Lady debate?

Jim McAllister said...

From RettaJim,

Jim:

I would almost bet that Benson, Valdez and Montini were home with a severe attack of constipation the day that the Editorial Board voted to endorse Romney. What other excuse could there be? It would have been great to be a fly on the wall during the board discussion of the endorsement.

Jim McAllister said...

From: Lynda in the Virgin Islands.

Wow!!! That's great. And interesting. Just prior to reading your blog I read that CBS ran a banner friday announcing that Obama had won the election.
I wonder if Montini and Valdez are protesting the Republic right now!!

I'm looking forward to the debate tonight!! I'm also excited that I finally figured out that I CAN vote from here in the Virgin Islands and HOW. We have Requested our early ballots and our votes will be sent via email. My husband has received his ballot, but my son and I are still waiting for ours.
Luckily, Arizona allows early ballots to be requested AND tuned in all the way through election day.

Now that I got this figured out, and supposing it all works right and they get accounted for properly... That 3 more votes for Romney from our household!! Woohoo!! And if our ballot happens to have AZ things listed on it as well (since over seas people have to register with their most recent state they lived in), that will be three more votes for Joe!!

From Ken Honeyman, Florida

The 'Salt Lake City Tribune' endorses Obama. Romney has had "...Too many FLIP-FLOPS to be a consistent & principled President"

Jim McAllister said...

From John Washington, Scottsdale

Jim,

This endorsement sounds only slightly stronger than the Republic’s endorsement of Jim Lane. Something to the effect of, “He sucks less than the other guy.”

That aside, I don’t understand why a “newspaper” feels the need to endorse anyone, rather than just checking the facts thoroughly and reporting them.

Jim McAllister said...

From Larry Rupp, Arizona

I read it and yes, I get their paper and find myself paying about $24/mo. Basically for non-news. I like the comics and puzzles.

With their record what does this mean?

Do you really think it'll change liberal minds?

I doubt it. But thanks for the news Jim.

I'm most definitely not a Romney fan....but much more conservative.....might it be that the Republic is endorsing the "lesser of two evils"?....it appears that it is the only choice most Americans have in this election.....which candidate will do less harm to our country....

Jim McAllister said...

I'm with ya Larry. Barb and I do the easier United puzzle daily and work on the Sunday NYT and LA Times during the week because they are such a bitch in comparison.

Jim McAllister said...

Hi Lyn,

Good to see you guys are Romney voters. We need all the help we can get.

Weird about that channel 5 thing with the race going to Obama. Somebody is probably on the carpet for that.

Hope all is well.

Jim McAllister said...

John,

I agree; so many papers always claim they are impartial then when they endorse someone it seems odd. I've found that usually it doesn't matter who they endorse. It guarantees nothing.

I wish you could have won the mayor's job. I would have liked to have seen you Copper, Guy, and Chris in the Kiva.

Jim McAllister said...

Rettajim,

I imagine Valdez was very unhappy in an overt way. Montini, I'm not so sure. He seems more laid back but I'm sure he wasn't happy.

Benson amazes me that he has a job. He is the most unrealistic and unfair cartoonist I have seen. He is also an ex-Mormon which probably clouds his views as can be seen in his strips.

I wish we could get m,ore of Ramirez.

Jim McAllister said...

Ken,

Romney may flip-flop some but it beats being a total flop like the big "O".

The guy has to go.

Jim McAllister said...

Native,

"... might it be that the Republic is endorsing the "lesser of two evils"?...."

Could be but of the two I certainly agree with Romney much more than Obama. He's solid for free enterprise; something Obama knows nothing about with his big government socialist ideas and that silly "soak the rich" nonsense.

In this country, if a guy can't make it through free enterprise, it is usually his/her own fault.

Mike Slater said...

I don't take much stock in the Arizona Republics endorsements. They're all over the map. They endorse some Republicans yet will endorse a far leftist like Krysten Sinema.

The only reason I get the Republic is for the sports and the puzzles.

Jim, sorry about that game last night. I thought Cincinnati was going to win. Oh well you still have the Cardinals to root for.

Jim McAllister said...

DG,

Those damn libs always have a pocketful of fish hooks when the check comes! LOL

Benson is REALLY bad. I can see going after the other side a bit but he is way overboard like that frame he did the other day showing Obama knocking out Romney in the second debate which was even at best for Obama even with Obama having the Crowley advantage.

Montini must have the photos from the Christmas party to keep his job.

I would love to do what he does. Anyone with a brain could report the stuff he does and he has been getting by with that garbage for at least 20 years. I remember him in the Gazette long ago. I wonder what he makes.

Jim McAllister said...

sam,

Someone else mentioned they may be doing a rope-a-dope. Anything is possible.

I know the Cincinnati Enquirer, which is also a Gannett paper, has the email charged edition too.

I took it because I sometimes need photos from it for a monthly column I do in the hard copy Scottsdale Republic. The most annoying thing about it is that you have to log in every time to use it.

With the internet, a lot of print editions are disappearing. I see that Newsweek will not have a hard copy anymore. Too bad, (weep) another liberal rag gone!

Lots of former big time dailies have gone too like The Rocky Mountain News" and "Seattle Post-Intelligencer".

In Cincy, we had three papers when i was a kid; now only one. Print media is too slow for today's reader.

Jim McAllister said...

Thanks, Allen,

I love the waterfall analogy: "Anyone with half a brain can hear the sound of the gigantic waterfall ahead; it’s no longer theoretical, but quite real."

That says it all; we can't keep adding trillions to the debt and expect the wealthiest to cover the cost just because we have some guy in the White House who thinks "the rich should pay their fair share."

They are paying their fair share and more while this president wants to keep handing out free goodies by taxing the makers.

He doesn't realize the heart of the American people who just happen to like the days of picket fence America where everyone worked for free enterprise companies and were embarrassed to take any kind of welfare when times were tough.

Jim McAllister said...

Mike,

The Sinema thing makes no sense. Valdez must have handled that one. Hopefully, she will lose.

Barb and I do the United crossword every day and the NYT and LAT during the week.

The Bengals were their usual selves against the Steelers. Every time they see those yellow and orange uniforms fro the steel city they fold.

The Cards game was good though. I love to see the Bidwills lose; I have nothing against the players.

They will be home next week and probably play on a great football afternoon of about 78 degrees which means that the Bidwills will as usual close the roof.

What a joke that us and they don't care what the fans think of sitting inside on a beautiful day.

I hope the Niners beat then 60-0.

Jim McAllister said...

First line above should say Ft. "Hood" not "Food."

I was shaking with disgust when I wrote it.

Rick Kepple said...

I haven't seen the debates yet. ABC promised a live Internet feed, but I didn't get it. Youtube was supposed to have it live too, but I guess I'm computer illiterate and couldn't find it.

I read something about the Fort Hood Killer incident being ruled work place violence, but I just disregarded it as nonsense.

And I read a different take on the Entitlements and what Romney is talking about. It's not just Welfare. It's Wall Street entitlements too! It's people in general expecting the system to provide and we're supposed to be in a free market enterprise system where the strong survive or die, as in nature. No bailouts. No subsidies. He's gonna allow the economy to collapse for the good of the nation and I agree.

I do need more bullets though. I've been seeing a lot more people walking west on I-44 and probably toward Phoenix. Lots of homeless folks. Some with duffle bags. So someone better do something quick! The nation is crumbling.

Mike Slater said...

Jim, just watched the debate and Obama looked clueless as usual.

I noticed in all 3 debates Romney looked confident and was smiling while Obama seem dour and irritated.

I have never liked indoor stadiums. Football and baseball should be played outdoors on real grass during the day.I never like the idea of night games either. I guess that's why I rarely watch pro sports any more

Jim McAllister said...

The Debate just ended.

How about some opinions.

As far as I'm concerned, Romney played it pretty safe and presidential against a clearly agitated Obama who constantly hesitated, used his hands, and seemed generally irritated.

I give the edge to Romney and it's not because I support him. It's because I think he clearly won. He did it by looking relaxed, calm, and informed on all subjects.

At first I was not happy that he skipped Libya but as the debate went on, his easy going style took over and I thought that Libya may have just caused some strife which I'm sure Obama had plans to combat. Because of Romney's coolness, O never had a chance.

Romney clearly was a guy who had a 10 run lead going into the ninth inning and didn't do anything dumb to spoil it.

In two weeks we'll find out what America thinks.

midnightsstaff said...

Well never one to keep my opinion to myself, I think Jim's analysis is pretty much a wrap.
I never thought it mattered after the first debate anyway, America is ready for a change that is a lock, as usual I can't stand the voice so I turn the sound off that duplicitous bastard's pack of lies and just watch the body language with some nice music in the background..

We all saw a man and a boy on that stage, hell Bob S. was more presidential than an agitated control freak with self control issues.

Jezuz.. The Romney's looked like a casting call for an up and coming "The Walton's" remake.

I think America is tired of these Shitcago values grifters anyway, I just realized that I might possibly have listened to that idiotic voice for the last time if I'm lucky- even with the sound off I can still hear that insincerity driven contemptuous voice of his that drives me the same as the bells did poor Quasimodo- "the bells, the bells"

...and yeah, baseball playoffs should be played in the afternoon and football should be played at Lambeau field in mid to late January..
they get to play the Cardinals pretty soon, in two weeks to be exact and at Lambeau... should be a fun day to cook up some brats and wash em down with a pabst eh?

As far as the Cardinals playing in Green bay it will be like watching a train wreck.

Jim McAllister said...

Middy,

Brats, the Packers, and Pabst? Life is good!

Also, Go Giants. The Reds had them down 2-0 in games with 3 coming up in Cincy.

The Cards had them down 3-1 and they won that series 4-3.

That's great baseball and I'm glad to see that lousy wild card team (Cardinals) out. They shouldn't have even been there.

More Stella please waitress!

I splurged for some Stella Artois yesterday from Belgium. It was like silk going down.

Packers 31-7 over Cards. Wait until those little sissies who play under a dome in Glendale no matter how nice the weather gets to Green Bay in winter.

I watched about a half hour of the debate this morning on Youtube, but I'm working to try to create jobs out of just the name of a LLC, highly skilled, unemployed or disabled people in the Ozarks and create a major music label from almost nothing, and now I'm working on a plan to get their label on a dozen music Internet sales sites. We've got a few promising young artists and billions of dollars to make, again from the Missouri Ozarks.

We're some of Romney's 12.5 million dollar jobs, but I started this corporation for these musicians in 2011, from existing companies. Now they're almost ready for itunes. Like one CEO said, that's billions of dollars from billions of people.

So Romney is liable to use Dell Mack's company as an example of how America is improving. And don't worry; I have this beautiful young lady all picked out for the company spokesperson and she's a company executive too.

Indie is going global, cause Dell Mack's old songs are still played overseas. This is gonna be a cinch. Yep.

So who's gonna endorse Dell Mack? Republicans or Democrats? Dell is a genuine American hero! What a concept the 75-year-old Rockabilly legend has, to employ so many people! I don't know where Dell gets his ideas. Probably from his vast experience.

I don't know who I'm voting for, but Romney does argue better. At least he had details this time. Since we're gonna be billionaires, I better vote for Romney.

midnightsstaff said...

another ugly day in the market.. unless you have shorted it..

Yeah, I think most of America weren't listening to the pack of lies any more than I did.. it's the visuals that have swung the election.

Pretty smart of President Romney to ignore the impulse to address each of the lies specifically- the fact checkers did that today, but his focus was to appear confident, not get knocked off point and let the little bitch implode.

..gotta get to those too close to call senate seats tho..
I guess he sees it, after all he has done pretty well without my help so far.

Rick Kepple said...

Middy says the stock market is plunging.

But Nick said that in tough times, people always want to hear happy music. The blues. He's right.

As the economy has worsened, more millionaires begin looking at Dell Mack Production LLC, Hit House Recording and the music label, Sho-Me-Mo, as a viable investment. Mainstream everything is collapsing and suddenly Indie is the place to be.

Don't be scared. Come on over to the crazy side of the street. It's always fun over here! Ever hang around a music studio? It's fun.

Rick Kepple said...

Romney says that we can't kill our way out of this mess, but he's not been to Hit House Recording, where our artists are killing the competition!

CJ's right. My brain is compartmentalized. I'm in the creative wing right now. Please leave a message and my assistant will call you back as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, we have a new artist who doesn't look at all like anyone you've known, other than human, and he's a cross between Reggae and Ricky Lee Jones. Gonna be a billion dollar song! He will shake Wall Street down to its foundations! Mitt Romney will love his music! You should too.

Nick West. If anyone knows about starting over, it's Nick. Now stop crying about lost investments! Become Dell Mack's best financial friend today and reap the profits tomorrow!

No musicians were hurt in the making of this comment.

Advice from one unemployed person to another, eh CJ?

Apparently the rumor in the music studio is that I'm in love with SN. I thought we were friends, but a real friend would have talked to me, so therefore friendship in the music industry doesn't mean a damned thing. But my reputation is permanently ruined thanks to her silence. Too bad that silence can't be put into a weapon. We could kill all our enemies and not hear a sound.

Sadly, I am the joke in the Ozarks. SN won. She finally found a way to destroy me and all she had to do was say that we were friends. Plus the morphine.

The government got what they wanted; the CIA used to and apparently still do, give a drug to a journalist that will make that person seem insane. Or kill them. Especially those who are a threat to the wealthy, but also a good man. But I doubt any of you intelligent people believe that the government would do that.

It's been a great adventure though, but no one is ever gonna take me seriously again. It's an old MK Ultra trick the CIA used to do to journalists who wrote the truth once too often. Discredit writers with drugs to make them delusional.

Just wait until they do it to you. And you people can't shut up about Obama. If he gets elected, y'all should stop going to the doctor. They got to other people through their doctors too. They got to me. They'll get to you too.

Rick Kepple said...

Doctors owe student loans. They are paid by insurance companies. Doctors do what they are told.

The rich folks are gonna win again. They do with every election. This time, they are reshaping the world to try to control 7 billion population in the world and counting.

Fortunately with population explosions in nature, always comes a population bust. Disease or a virus wipes out all but a few and the population starts growing all over again.

But with humans, the rich plan for this stuff. In the end, unless you're at the very top of the food chain, you're just dead meat, along with me. We all are.

Romney will try to rebuild America and lose interest. He's best at destroying things. He really is and that's why I favor him this morning. The population needs to be reduced and he could easily do that.

Rick Kepple said...

Nah, I'm gonna vote for Obama!

The reason is very simple and I'll explain.

The Bible says, "For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, 'You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.'"

Now Romney's way of helping the poor will be to kill them. It's not a bad plan if it's done quickly, but the rich like to kill people, so they'll starve them and that takes a long time.

Obama is a peacemaker. But you know how those guys are. Peacemakers get people killed. Efficiently.

What it comes down to, is who would the American people rather go to war against? Romney or Obama? Well, Obama of course.

That's why I'm going to vote for him. Both Romney and Obama will get people dead. Fact. It just hasn't happened yet.

I have no kids and no wife. It doesn't matter to me if people are all Muslims in the future. I won't be here. Not my problem.

Rick Kepple said...

"..'bout time for the outrageous smears to come out.. it's how communists operate."

Todd Akin called Claire McCaskill a dog on Saturday. His campaign spokesman tweeted that Senator McCaskill is a breed of dog called a Bullshitsu.

Yep. The Commies are already starting, so Middy's right.

Todd Akin leads in Missouri. He, along with the Republican Party, don't like women. At least they're honest, you gotta give'em that.

You guys didn't watch that anti-Communist film that I posted, did you? Nope. That's because SN and the CIA did their job well in discrediting me.

Oh, but I get a "nut check." Maybe I'll not vote at all. Don't want the insane picking a President, do you? After all, you folks are rich. If y'all say that I'm insane and delusional, it must be true. Wealth speaks louder and righter. Fact.

I'm so proud of the job the rich have done in creating our perfect world. I need a tissue. I feel a tear of happiness coming on.

quit whining in public you loser- you are tiresome.

It has been proved without any doubt that two hours into the siege at Benzgali Capt. Zer0 knew full well what was happening and did nothing about it.
It figures.

I know most cannot relate to the absolute terror being attacked at night brings, but to finally realize that no one is coming must have been as bad as the fall of the Alamo- and imagine how hard that must have been for others in the military to monitor the situation on the radio and the drone feed watching helplessly while their brothers were being murdered and savaged by our White House.

Our forces who get locked up in combat always think in terms of just hanging on until supporting fire can be realized.
..burning through magazines in those few minutes waiting for a 105 battery or calling in phantoms seemed like an eternity in Vietnam- I can't imagine being caught in a hopeless firefight lasting over six hours.

Stop and think about it, what worse example of dereliction of duty has history ever offered us that rivals the scurrilous agenda of motivated inactivity committed by our communist in chief that night and what greater crimes than the ensuing cover- up with the help of a lap dog media has ever been orchestrated?

But morons like Rick have no interest in what happens to our military or our soldiers just as long as he thinks he gets to keep his stolen benefits.

You are a coward and a fraud Rick, your childish attitude gives you away just like it did your equally phony commander in chief.

CJ does have a point about me.

Maybe instead of helping Dell Mack's studio and people to make money, I should spend my disability on finishing my bunker before the spring. That way, no matter who is elected, I'll be ready for war.

As long as I stay off the government's pills, I'm fine. I'll live a bit longer. But everyone dies. It's a transition from this life to freedom.

Y'all should have cared, but you didn't. Instead, I have been made to look nuts.

If Iran sends drones from Venezuela to the U.S., their target will be Scottsdale and Southern Cali. Romney is talking about investing in Latin America. It's Obama's speech from 2008. He said the same thing in Florida.

Grupo Santander has already been to Latin America. Romney's too late.

I see no profitable future for Americans. That especially goes for SN because of what she did to embarrass the government in 1981. That's why they singled her out when everyone and their brother was doing cocaine back then. Why her? Because she's an enemy of the State.

Y'all best prepare. Your gold won't take you far during a food shortage in 2013. But the rich always do well, don't they? History books tell us so. The poor will die like flies, but they never talk about the stench in the books, do they?

I posted on Facebook concerning Fleetwood Mac; what bill are you planning on not paying to go see your band? SN has bills to pay. All of those bandmembers have bills to pay and they can't survive like we can. They need money. When was the last time that you spoke with a big time rock star? When was the last time you wrote to them and they wrote back? When you called their agent, manager, publicist, how long did it take, before they hung up on you? The fact is that the members of Fleetwood Mac just want your money. They don't want you. But if you can't afford to go, then go see some local band in your area for no cover charge or a small one. Support Independent Music. Support your home town.

This election has the potential to be even more curious than anyone could imagine.

Looks like this hurricane could cause some real damage to the whole eastern seaboard starting next week if it takes a western hook, (or would that be slice?) and next Wednesday is full moon.
... for some reason the tides get much stronger during the strongest phases, the full and new moon.

I have about given up on my multi-decade long campaign to have Greenwich Mean Time changed to the more female friendly sidereal period- when the moon rises in the east that is morning, when it sets in the west.. you get the picture..

Think about it guys, it makes more sense to have the months coincide with the female cycle or vice versa I suppose, than to expect the ladies to deal with an ever changing calendar that is out of sync astrologically speaking.

Of course I haven't worked out every little detail yet, including that pesky leap year, but the best minds are still working on it..
I gotta get more whisker lickin's.

Another bad month long clean up will certainly affect the dynamics of the election, leaving lots of scenarios to consider- especially voter turn out, and I know that President Romney's voters are willing to crawl through broken glass on this election but you cannot say the same about the socialists.

I heard we are supposed to get a wet winter this year, I'll probably never get over this sinus infection.

You made eleven posts on 10-24 and that's too many. I appreciate your interest in the blog but it's getting out of control. Eleven is too much in one day.

Since it is not unusual for Middy, Mike, CJ and a couple others to post about three times in a day, please hold your posts to three.

Anything over that will be deleted so organize your comments into three blogs.

Thanks,

Jim

Three concise and well thought out posts eh?- hell, he hasn't posted three of those yet.

So... do my responses to Rick count toward the total of the entire day or is the three posting rule apply to new work only?

Are you going to let Rick "bank" unused posts and carry them to the next day?

I've got beginner artists who think they're gods and experienced artists ready to strangle them. I'm doing it all for free and at my expense and because I'm not rich like Lee Iacocca, the media couldn't give a shit that I'm trying to manage this studio to create jobs ... and I work for free. The IRS calls that a "hobby" so Lee Iacocca brought Chrysler back for a hobby, don't you see.

So then some blogger talking about matters of little importance limits me to three comments while some former prison guard is allowed to treat me like I'm an inmate and a printing press operator working at a drug store thinks she's better than me? None of you are doing much with your lives. But calling me lazy.

I don't think so.

The entire reason that I post that many comments is because YOU PEOPLE ARE PISSING ME OFF AND IT'S MY WAY OF TRAINING YOU "gods" and "goddesses." You're worse than spoiled entertainers!

Those guys took a great Cleveland team in 4 games.

I wasn't too happy at them beating the Reds in the playoffs this year but if the Reds can't do it, the Giants are next. Unbelievable how they won 6 elimination games in the playoffs and are now up 1-0 in the Series.

The sane among us at least make the pretense of tending to our own business, after all if you survive long enough you realize there is enough tribulation to go around without cultivating more.

I'm starting to itch and it's not just the full moon on the rise, it doesn't look like we are going to have an NHL season this year..

Jim, I still remember the famous catch that Willie Mays made off the bat of Vic Wertz in the 54 World Series.

Funny story about Willie, the Dodgers were playing the Giants at Dodger stadium and Willie was the lead off batter. Willie always liked to dig into the batters box. When he got settled in he looked up and saw Don Drysdale on the mound and called time out. This was before the game had started. He then filled in the holes and told the umpire that Drysdale doesn't like batters digging in the batters box.

Middy,

Speaking of beating the wimmin folk, I remember an NFL player years ago who was arrested for beating up his girlfriend. He was flabbergasted as he exclaimed: "Damn! It's gettin' so you can't beat them up even when they got it comin'"! They got it comin'? LOL

Giants up 2-0 and their pitching is really looking good. Did you see that curve that Romo was snapping off in the ninth. No way anyone was going to hit that one.

Now it's on to Detroit where itis supposed to rain all weekend. It could be interesting in the Tiger' home park and if they did have a rain out it would help get Verlander back in there.

Hockey is really stupid to hold up the season. They are more of a niche sport; they don't need the bad press.

Jim McAllister said...

Mike,

I remember when Wertz hit that ball. He was unlucky that they were playing at the Polo Grounds in NY which was about 490 to center with Willie roaming the area.

I saw Mays play many times as a kid in Cincy. There wasn't a ball he couldn't hit. I saw him get hits off pitches that were almost over his head.

Willie and Hank Aaron were two of the best in the mid 50s. A writer once asked Hank how he was able to hit so well. His answer: "Hittins' easy."

Don Drysdale was one mean SOB on the mound. He was 6-6 with long arms and loved to go sidearm against those right handed hitters.

Needless to say, those guys stepped in the bucket many times with Don on the mound; even Willie. The Dodgers really had a 1-2 punch in the 60s with him and Sandy.

In the news this morning, an August nonpartisan report says that Mitt Romney's five point plan can't possibly work. Strange how an August plan is suddenly just now "newsworthy."

Anyway, the nerds who crunched the numbers is led by a former Bush aide!

They said that Romney's plan could NOT reduce taxes for all classes and could NOT reduce the deficit.

In fact, the only people Romney's plan would help, would be the elite. It would raise the taxes on the poor and middle class.

So now this report, previously ignored, is now in the forefront of the news and experts from math, economics, politics, etc. are all making it bigger or trying to hack it to pieces and not one is looking at the truth of the matter.

The truth is that people knew Romney was full of shit and they were still willing to vote for him.

BTW, I'm experimenting with a Mac computer and I want to see if it will solve a sound latency problem like all the nerds say it will. I got authorization from Dell Mack himself to get funding and experiment with new equipment. So for forty bucks, we're test driving a Mac.

midnightsstaff said...

Good idea not getting all specific on..

a. what that nonpartisan report was..

b. who the unnamed Bush adviser was- maybe Colin Powell?.

c. taking their word the plan could not work.

d. discern from those "factcheckers" that the plan was just another let the rich off with no taxes gimmick.
and...
e. claim this is the news we have been waiting for that will change the election.

good solid reporting there Olsen.

forty bucks out of the experimentation funding account eh?

The Mac might fix any technical difficulties with mixing you have but what about those voices in your head?

"That study found, in short, that Mr. Romney could not keep all of the promises he had made on individual tax reform: including cutting marginal tax rates by 20 percent, keeping protections for investment income, not widening the deficit and not increasing the tax burden on the poor or middle class. It concluded that Mr. Romney’s plan, on its face, would cut taxes for rich families and raise them for everyone else."

The Tax Policy Center says Romney's plan is impossible. Can't possibly work.

http://www.ibtimes.com/tax-policy-center-says-romney-tax-plan-still-doesnt-add-848559

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/tax-policy-center-spotlight-romney-173604062.html

So tell me the fairytale of how rich people not paying any taxes and outsourcing jobs overseas is going to do Americans any good?

Republicans probably need to study political theory and learn how to govern.

The Democrats just need to listen to the people and do what they're told. But the Republicans have hitched their wagon to the rich and are completely fricking worthless these days. They keep clinging to Reagan like the present GOP policies are like his. No they are not. Reagan would have had Wall Street shut down and NO ONE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BAILOUTS!

You are out of your mind Olsen.. read the Heritage foundation's take on that leftist bilge you are quoting.

http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2012/09/tax-policy-centers-skewed-analysis-of-governor-romneys-tax-plan

an excerpt of that link.

..."The Tax Policy Center is the industry standard for producing high-quality tax data that are integral to tax policy debates. However, in this TPC report, the authors’ choices and assumptions lead them to a carefully chosen result that is misleading and biased. This hinders the debate on tax reform because lawmakers and the public need accurate information to make good decisions.
At best, this TPC analysis confirms that tax reform will require political leaders to make difficult decisions. This is self-evident. If tax reform were easy, Washington would have reformed the current 26-year-old code long ago"

they go on...

.."To provide a more thorough analysis of Governor Romney’s plan, the authors should show other ways to frame their analysis—including one that fully captures all of the plan’s aims—to give a more detailed account of the issues his plan presents.
They should also show the various ways that his plan could be revenue and distributionaly neutral.
Using dynamic analysis to evaluate the plan would further inform the public about the Romney plan because it would show its benefits, not just its costs.
An analysis on these grounds would move the debate forward rather than weigh it down with flawed results"

..as usual you are entirely wrong, it figures tho that anyone incapable of reasonable thinking will naturally come to your conclusions- because they are weak minded.

You are the reason that carnivals were created Homer- you are a fish.

"Batting against Drysdale is the same as making a date with the dentist." Dick Groat

"Drysdale would consider an intentional walk a waste of three pitches. If he wants to put you on base, he can hit you with one pitch." Mike Shannon

"I hate to bat against Drysdale. After he hit you he'd come around, look at the bruise on your arm and say, do you what me to sign it." Mickey Mantle

I like the one about not walking a guy on four pitches when one would do the job.

Speaking of Bob Gibson: Tim McCarver has related how one day he is catching Gibby and Gibby is having trouble on the mound.

McCarver goes out to check on him and possibly offer some advice. As soon as Gibson saw him he hollered, "Get out of here! The only thing you know about pitching is that it's hard to hit!"

Ya gotta love the old time players. Most of them had to work in the winter because baseball didn't pay enough. I remember pitcher Bud Podbielan of the Reds sold Mercurys during the off season.

O has a big problem there as the evidence mounts and its all coming out during the couple of weeks before the election which is great.

I hope the American public is paying attention to what that know nothing numb nuts has done.

I know how I would feel if my kid had died in that hell hole.

I just read a little snippet of a headline this morning that says Romney and Obama could result in a tie. Some experts are even saying that Romney could win the popular vote and lose the electoral vote.

"Since the blog-site isn't equipped with an "IGNORE" feature, we might have to do it ourselves?"

Why do women always think that ignoring a man actually works? That only works on other women, sweety. And I don't write to win a popularity contest. That's the first thing I learned in journalism. You're either in it to be popular (women) or in it to make a difference (men).

That's why Men are elected President and not WOMEN!

According to a socialist publication, the EU and the U.S. are preparing to send military advisors to Mali.

Mali is in West Africa. They call it, "The Land of the Gangster-Jihadists." In March, 2012, a radical Muslim military coup overthrew the government.

The New York Times says that a military strike from Western governments on the Muslim rebels is inevitable.

Why Mali?

According to the CIA Factbook, Mali is at the crossroads of West African wealth. They are landlocked and have no seaport. Mali had 29 airports in 2006. Mali is about the size of Texas. Mali is 90 percent Muslim, 1 percent Christian. Mali is one of the poorest countries in the world.

But WHY is Mali suddenly important?

Because the radical Jihadists make their money from kidnapping corporate business people and collecting ransoms.

Businessinsider.com reports that the Swiss have spent $5.9 million in trying to free two hostages held in Mali. The Muslims spend that money investing in heroin from Afghanistan to ship to Europe and Latin America, eventually winding up in North America. The radical Muslims control their air traffic and they use it for smuggling.

So it looks like American troops might be going to Africa in 2013, to fight all those wars. Like I've written many times, both Obama and Romney are helping to build their versions of Global Governance and under the G20's plan, they will redistribute Western wealth to stabilize the global population and end all wars.

http://www.stripes.com/news/obama-to-nominate-army-gen-rodriguez-to-lead-africom-1.193564

does it seem a strange time to be replacing General Ham?
..and what is the reason for replacing him?
maybe congress needs to bring him to Washington for a proper debriefing under oath..

..of course you have no idea what I am referring but the rumor is that it was General Ham who mobilized to respond and offer assistance to the Benzgali massacre and was going to do it despite orders, but was told to stand down by the White House and immediately relieved of command.

That impertinence could not be tolerated when the operation was going according to plan.
..but the media is more interested in binders and big bird I guess.

At the very least someone should ask why it was necessary to relieve the commanding officer at AFRICOM on 9/11/2012 of his duties during the Benzgali battle?- just one question, but the media is in the tank for Satan at the moment and cannot be bothered.

have a nice Saturday.

Interesting about General Ham. The Benghazi thing just keeps getting more complicated and less explained to the public.

We can only hope Gallup is right. Obama must be dumped and this country needs to regain it's senses and realize what it would be like to have him win and turn this into a socialist government.

The "free shit army" scares me. They are the losers who will not change.

Point of information: GUESS WHO is not (lemme check, 1 um, there, yup 2 balls) a girl, and not Larry, but he'd still be PROUD to participate in most any SANE topic.

So with my new "snignore" button firmly pressed, let me say I think this Benghazi thing is going to blow up. Fox was the lone voice, then CNN began to give some coverage, in the last two days CBS, CNBC and a few others in MSM have reluctantly joined in even if only token exposure. Unlike Watergate where media was the pursuer of truth, this one falls to we the people. Not a bad idea to pepper the big 3 ABC< NBC and CBS with calls and emails asking why they are shirking their duty. A real leader would hold a news conference and splain WTF went wrong, take the heat and be done with it...this pathetic little Chicago piece of crap is looking more like Nixon by the minute.

It's indeed a sad day for the American press when the one and only tough interview Obama gets is from UNIVISON... he's getting away with doing fluff interviews on late-night comedy shows and MTV where some mad-hatter named ~Sway~ hit him with the biggies like "what will your girls be for Halloween"

The unfortunate thing is Obama is still able to bamboozal young, sound-bite swallowing, gen x'rs. Take a look at how informed the pro Obama, college electorate really is:

Here we have a totally unqualified piece of shit for a president who has done nothing right since he became president and these kids know nothing of what he has or has not done. All they know is "I'm goin' to vote for Obama."

All he has to do is go to their campuses and act cool with his jive ass talk to the kids and he wins them over.

It's sad. Hopefully the wrong that is Obama will be rectified on November 6 and this country will get back on track regardless of the stupidity of the dumbass college kids.

The first wouldn't play but I can imagine what it was.

If my kid would ever have been forced into that rotten propaganda song of the second I think I would find the SOB responsible and make them wish they had never been born.

Those kids are so brainwashed it's unbelievable.

Whatever happened to the America we knew where people celebrated Americanism and were proud of it?

Now, we have a guy who probably isn't even an American living in the White House and he actually has strong support.

In 1980 the people figured out another loser was in charge in Carter. God help us if they can't figure it out this time with Obama.

proud said...

Middy, there are several videos making the rounds where the interviewer poses questions of Obama supporters he says are ROMNEY policies, but really are actual Obama policies. It shows clearly that a good many of Obama supporters support him for all the wrong reasons. Some for his race, some for his celebrity and cool appearances on hip shows.

Jim, can't much blame the kids, I'm sure they were thrilled at being in a commercial, but what kind of President has little kids doing a nasty attack ad where they sing Romney wants people to die?> A couple days ago they had the teen chick ad where she compared voting for Obama to having sex the first time, and now this, beyond disgusting and way below any level of Presidential decency or responsibility...If they win with this smut it speaks volumes about what this nation has become...

midnightsstaff said...

I think I am as mad as I ever have been at anyone before, this is an obvious theater of the absurd that went wrong, and now the media is leading the charge on the cover up for this traitor..

I am not going to be happy with Romney just winning the election, I want to see this whole disgusting affair come to light and Obama and the whole posse in Ft. Leavenworth awaiting a firing squad.
and that goes for Hillary as well, she doesn't get a pass because at min. she was in on the cover up.

The media is the tough part.. they are pure evil with this full time campaigning for the devil himself and now ignoring the biggest story in America's history for purely agenda driven reasoning is a low point in a series of low records.

..time is running out for a democratic solution, when we are in another depression caused by political games playing and they finally realize that all along the media knew about it.. people should and probably will hang.

..this murder of our fellow American warriors has legs and is not going to go away just because the media is stonewalling right along with the demonic Obama administration..

But it was a nice ceremony, simple yet elegant in a nice courtyard, the bride was stunning and the groom -well, let's just say he married up.

..but that's still no excuse for throwing your entire future away... he's only 45 or so, still out of work so I think he still should be sowing his wild oats.

...or oat in his case.

...this is a guy I remind you that told me not all that long ago in a true George Costanza moment being between girlfriends that he was considering becoming a porn star..

Of course everyone behaved themselves like ladies and gentlemen.. no course talk, people were friendly and I just drove away whistling to myself and thanking God it wasn't my wedding.

One would think that with the cover up on Benghazi some of these Obama automatons and the press would see the light and see this bum for what he is. Not so; not gonna happen. Guys like Don and Joe will still love him.

This is the first election I have been through where I absolutely despise a candidate and I have been voting since 1962.

Obama is a despicable sorry excuse for a human being. It's not just because I disagree with his socialistic agenda; it's because is is simply not qualified for the job and is a crummy person.

My old man felt the same way when FDR died in 1945. I was 4 years old and a neighbor came over gasping about Roosevelt just dying. My old man looked him like "So what?"

Rick Kepple said...

"This is the first election I have been through where I absolutely despise a candidate and I have been voting since 1962."

You're stressing too much. God's got control over this, Jimmy. I saw it in a dream. It's just like 1980.

God is the entire reason this country is great, because people from two absolutely different backgrounds and lifestyles can help one another and be friends. You won't see that in Russia or China where someone from the elite and a peasant are friends!

I got a feeling that God is going to set things right, Jimmy. The poor shall be rich and the rich shall be poor, doesn't necessarily mean wealth. Being rich is about being happy and blessed from the money that is wisely spent.

What if the elite started teaching the welfare, food stamp, disability recipients that they don't have to do behave poor. They have a choice. What if rich folks actually cared?

Trickle down is obviously nonsense and if Socrates is right that a good economy is a cooperative effort between the classes, then we must change as a People.

The CEO's are right that jobs will never come back, unless it's more profitable. So then the corporate executives have an obligation to teach poor people how to manage their own lives. They can't just abandon them.

So in order to save America, the collective heart must change and the only way that can happen ...

is with a song.

Rick Kepple said...

I was out late at the studio last night. Passing around guitars and everyone playing something.

I guess it's something of a miracle that I got a Mac computer in the studio. We still got to get the recording program and the analog to digital interface. The engineers have to learn the software. Then I got to get us on itunes and that takes 20 albums and none of their songs are cataloged.

It is my opinion that the elite need to start sifting through the homeless, because I'll bet that a few can't pass written tests, but they might be able to read computer code. Some may not get along well with people, but they might be geniuses with numbers. There is just so much potential out there!

Maybe the Republicans do have a good plan to turn old prisons into dorms, with remodeling, to help the homeless find productive lives. This cookie cutter world just ain't working.

Romney could change things to make everyone rich and not just the wealthy, like time after time.

But like Arlo Guthrey said, if we lived in a perfect world, the people who strive to make a difference would never succeed at anything. So because the world sucks, people like me stand out, because I'm making success (with God's help) out of a small music studio.

One could argue it's socialism. It's also capitalism. It could even be communism. It's definitely an ism. Romney should follow my example.

I happened to see the family of that heroic Seal on one of Fox's shows last night as I was wanting to get a hurricane update, and what was said by his father should be hammered into every voter's conscience before they go to the polls.

One of the issues that America faces is this early voting fiasco, that needs to be stopped immediately if not sooner.

A typical drone like Rick has probably already given his vote to the Devil already and looking to vote again.

Just look at the information on this traitor that is still being dragged out a bit at a time.

How many people took the two minutes to fill out that on line email to their elected representatives I gave a link for stopping this UN poll watching outrage?

I doubt very many will, but they will complain when it is too late and the UN with Homeland Security reinforcements are here counting the votes.

Do any of you think the Satanic forces will stop at mere voter fraud or even illegally seizing the ballots to insure a "private and secure" counting...

..don't bet your life on it- I give you Senator Al Frankin as example one.
... they have already shown no reluctance to have our servicemen murdered in cold blood for sheer political reasoning, what would stop them from attempting the fixing of an election?

I agree also on AZ. I'm reading about the storm this morning as I look out my back window at the placid scene on the golf course with the rabbits and quail and a guy cutting the grass. High of 90 today, ho-hum.

Only two places could have called off the attack at that point; the WH situation command (based on POTUS direction) or AFRICOM commander based on information directly from the target area.

.."If the AC130 never left Sigonella (as Penetta says) that means that the Predator that was filming the whole thing was armed.

If one of the former Seals was actively "painting" a target; something was on station to engage! And the decision to stand down goes directly to POTUS!"

It's nice to see from their celebration that they really care in spite of the millions they make.

Watching that video from Atlantic City.. pretty amazing stuff-

http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2012/10/29/worst-case-scenario/

But checking the comments, it went straight to 'when did you give the order to "stand down" mr. President?'

.. and no it wasn't me.. no one is even talking about the once in a hundred year storm, they are talking about the cover up and in doing so sending the message to the media to do it's job, I think the media is going to have to address this criminal act as soon as the storm subsides enough.

This hurricane is bad stuff, but the treasonous nature of the coward in chief is drowning out the storm- people are pretty pissed off..

whooie.. I am sure glad I am no where near that seaboard in this kind of weather.

You guys remember how the main stream media couldn't provide enough live and other coverage to Cindy Sheehan when her son dies and she camped on Bush's driveway (Camp-Casey)????

Contrast that to the coverage Ty Wood's Dad is getting .....

Well it looks like Gov. Christie is going to cancel Halloween.. I can't remember that happening, and the gov. of Conn is calling this "Most Catastrophic Event We Have Faced In Any Of Our Lifetimes"- which might be a stretch but it must be bad.
wait until tomorrow morning when we get to see the water standing and the trees blown over.. 3 million people in the dark with no power, good thing there is no guns in that town eh?

Bloomberg needs to prohibit something else or tax it to pay for this mess- what a double flusher.

It's only October. Well, at least my bunker is done in time. It's not much, but it will do.

I guess there are grocery store shelves empty. It was supposed to take three days to do that, but so much for their predictions.

Now the storm is turning east, probably down through Missouri. As long as it's gone before deer hunting season.

I'm hoping for an artic clipper to make several feet of snow this winter. The Day After Tomorrow storms. Think Biblical. Pretty cool, huh?

midnightsstaff said...

...this one's going to suck, the power will have to be off for up to ten days while they clean up the underground I suppose..

..anyway the flood water is salt so that is going to complicate things..

And the Cardinals lose again 24-3. They only had 7 yards running the football in the whole game. In the 2nd half they threw the ball on every down. Pathetic.

I never forget. I never bitch about the weather here even in summer. I have no need for the east coast.

Jim McAllister said...

Mike,

I watched the whole game. Cards are lucky SF took it easy in the second half. It was a case of total control.

I think Whisenhunt is in trouble. he is 44-44 here and is hanging on from the Super Bowl game which they wouldn't have made if not for Warner.

Skelton and Kolb will get them nowhere and, as you mentioned, they have zero running game.

Jim McAllister said...

Steve,

I love Dennis Miller. Good slam on Bloomberg. It's embarrassing that he calls himself a Republican.

Middy,

That Atlantic City footage is amazing. I spent many a hot day on the beach and on the Boardwalk as a kid on summer vacation.

this is some amazing video of the transformers exploding all across NYC last night.. it looks like the city was under a mortar attack.. looks very similar.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Elr1CKzi-pU

The generalized, indiscriminate looting will commence citywide as soon as the NYPD mobilizes- of course the real looting has been done on Wall Street for years leaving little to plunder.

Shouldn't the community organizers be getting organized pretty soon?- you know the get out to vote crowd.

The freeshit army is a bit shell shocked at the storm right now, but their generationally reinforced, finely honed innovative redistributive instincts runs strong in the city's dna so the creative instincts will kick in pretty soon, maybe a cover of arson will add enough confusion to carry out the compulsory looting at their leisure and righting some more of their long standing injustices at the hands of Whitey and the Koreans can be achieved.

The Colt 45 will start flowing as soon as the liberators can strike a blow for the common man at a few package stores- once the looting starts in earnest everyone will be wanting to shop early for the best bargains.

..this might be a good time for a cash for guns program doncha think?

I also think it would be a good strategy for the R&R team to buy up a few Budweiser trucks fully loaded and abandon them in Brooklyn to sort of prime the pump and get the ball rolling.

But keep in mind that even with a hurricane rolling through town this was still a less destructive and overall safer night than an average weekend bar hopping in Shitcago- it's not as bad as they are claiming.. after all you can still kayak in the subway system but as mayor Bloomberg warned, carrying a light down there only makes you a target.

Yeah, hopefully those Wall Street flunkies stealing America's wealth got swept out to sea with their corruption.

I hate corrupt people, unless they're corrupt for the right reason - Patriotism.

Maybe if we're lucky, some of those Atlantic City casinos were destroyed too. They can build churches there instead. Let SN sing in a church instead of a casino. It's time for her to grow up and be responsible.

I'm a real, honest to God, responsible man and I make the rest of y'all look like welfare cases. Y'all claim to make profit, but all you do is exploit people.

Jenny is a 13-year-old 8th grader who's been interested in politics for a couple of years. She was confused about the claims of the Democrats and the claims of the Republicans. So, she decided to look at the facts and do a report card for President Barack Obama and one for Governor Mitt Romney. She compared them and now presents her findings in this video.

I believe everything published made a great deal of sense.
However, what about this? suppose you typed a catchier post title?
I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added something to possibly get folk's attention?
I mean "EXTRA! EXTRA! DON'T FAINT; AZ REPUBLIC ENDORSES ROMNEY! (Sunday 10-21-12) edition)" is kinda plain.
You might look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create news headlines to grab people interested. You might add a related video or a picture or two to grab readers interested about what you've got to say.
In my opinion, it could make your blog a little livelier.
