WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE

“The parallel between Benghazi and the IRS story is amazing.  (It’s) lying about lying, then lying about the fact that they are lying.  Then seeking to apologize for lies that they claim they didn’t tell.  This pattern is a culture of big government who believes that it is more important than the American people.”
……….Newt  Gingrich.

I doubt if Obama had any inkling of what 2013 might bring to his table after his easy re-election in 2012.  He even started off the New Year with a bang by beating the Republicans into an embarrassing cave in on tax hikes for the fiscal cliff.

Wow!  How rosy it looked for the guy who brings new meaning to “superego.”  At his State of the Union speech, he proposed a “left wing dream factory” according to columnist Charles Krauthammer with a declaration of war on global warming (even though temperatures are the same as 16 years ago and CO2 emissions are at a 20 year low).

House Rep Jason Chaffetz is talking of
possible impeachment proceedings.
Also on the list was universal pre-school for 5 year olds in a country already drowning in debt.  He also felt confident in the Democrats re-gaining the House in 2014.

Gosh, this being the President isn’t hard after all; except that it is, especially when you are, as Edward Klein called Obama in his book, The Amateur

When confronted by the lack of his intimidation on sequester by Republicans, he panicked like a schoolyard brat with silliness like airline delays and the cancellation of White House tours.  Looking foolish, he eventually caved in.

Need we discuss his embarrassment over the loss of his gun control bill?  Sure, why not?  I wonder how much gas he burned up at our expense to fly all over hell posing with grieving relatives of those slain by guns.  He lost 60-40 in a Senate that had 55 seats belonging to his own party.

Want more?  How about the Benghazi hearings? The IRS/Tea Party scandal?  The AP wire tapping by Obama’s buddy Holder (“Who, me?  Yes, you!”), and the latest:  HHS Secretary Sibelius trying to illegally get funds to prop up Obamacare.   Hell, as long as we are airing out this guy, how about a SECOND court ruling against his illegal appointment of members to the National Labor Relations Board while the Senate was off?  It’s like endlessly listening to Sonny and Cher sing “And the beat goes on.”

The Republicans have a great opportunity here if they just don’t blow it.  In the 1948 film The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Humphrey Bogart (as Fred C. Dobbs) and Tim Holt (as Curtin) have been stiffed on
their wages by their boss McCormick as played by Barton Mac Lane.

When they see McCormick walking down the street dressed in a nice new suit with a young senorita, Dobbs says “Let’s get him….and get him HARD!”

That’s exactly what Republicans need to do.  Get Obama and get him hard.  I may add that they need to do it soon.  These types of opportunities have a way of disappearing if not quickly acted upon!

Disagree Jim...Obama's good at playing the race / victim / under-dog card. EXTREMELY GOOD!

I think the more Republicans attack, the more Obama becomes a martyr....

The more he's attacked, the more low information voters, (dumbass American recruits in the freeshytarmy), rally to defend this "poor", "black", "pulled himself up by his worn, sharecrgopper bootstraps", "only wants to help us little guys but those mean, greedy Republicans won't allow it cause they can't stand a Black-man, in the White-House"

After all, he's not the President, he's a made for TV, Hollywood, movie about a black man beating all odds and trying to help the masses by getting back what was taken from them illegitimately (sounds like CJ was the screen writer eh)

He and his ruination of the country are here for at least another 3+ years, I'm guessing maybe 4 more!

That's another elbowing penalty! and she hasn't even showed up yet..

As I said Obama isn't the problem, liberalism is the problem.

This election cycle will see any tea party candidate get a whole lot less support due to the message just sent that if you donate the IRS will be looking into your files.
if there ever was a time to pass a flat tax this is it, but is anyone even talking about tearing this Nazi organization down?

Liberalism has been a known problem for years...

Dirty, anything for a victory, Chicago style, slash / burn at the executive level, politics is something of a new,(ok a few yrs) phenom....

Obama is essentially Nixon's corrupt scummyness,.... with a liberal dose of steroids...

midnightsstaff said...

Not to offer apology for Obama but I maintain that his method would have been rejected outright except for the advancement of liberalism all across the society.

It began in the institutions all across America from the halls of Harvard now down to the halls of Sandy Hook elementary.
He now owns the courts system, he has the enforcement arm in his pocket, the tax nazi's are laughing in your face because they told on themselves knowing the liberal press will eventually have to come to heel.
it's sheer power now, no more mr. nice guy.
There will never be another free election at the national or Senate level.

As Rush said "this is not a government out of control, no quite the contrary this is a government in total control"
..and he is right.

This guy would have been laughed off the stage running against JFK, but that was before the liberal movement got started, now the tentacles of oppression are wrapped around every aspect of every day life, and we have a nation of sheep that just voted him in after four years of abject failure on every issue.

He's a symptom of a deeper problem we face.
This is a nation of cowards and malcontents, the voting public is no longer sharing the same mindset as the voting public that elected Ronald Reagan.

You could eliminate him tomorrow and it wouldn't change the statist, oppressive tone of DC.

Pogo recognized the problem.

I thought after 4 years of Obama it would be like 1980 again. Boy was I wrong. Now I'm wondering with we will ever have another Republican president.

On your other blog you mentioned Terry Bradshaw. He went to Louisiana Tech but was number 2 on the depth chart. The number 1 guy and the starting QB was a guy named Phil Robertson. He gave up football because of duck hunting. He's the one that started making duck calls and is the father of the boys on the show Duck Dynasty.

He turned down an offer from the Washington Redskins.

midnightsstaff said...

Sir that is probably the only reason for a man to get married and take the little woman fishing in the first place.
A wife comes in pretty handy not just for cleaning those fish, securing and keeping the boat clean and remaining sober enough to drive home.

I even stopped one time and bought some fiberglass and cloth and let her patch a small hole while I supervised,
so when the deep cycle gives out she can put the back to those oars.

Sure some don't like it at first when you want to circle back and give that sunken tree stump a few more casts, but just try to ignore the surly attitude- she is just not accustomed to the joys of fishing and much of these type of days is just for training anyway- you will find that out once you have her take a picture of you holding that fish you went back for.

..All is not lost with a dead battery, although few women will row too fast even with you admonishing her to speed it up so you get more action with the trolling lure you should still be able to work the banks on the way back to the ramp while enjoying a cold one- you just have to keep reminding her not to make grunting noises and spook the fish you are working.
.. if she needs correcting or starts wheezing loudly you might mention that we aren't calling ducks.

A wife can be a real partner or just dead weight in the relationship depending on how they were trained and that sir is your responsibility as spelled out in the Bible time and again.

..Once again it's your choice.

PROUD said...

Middy, I'm copying that to keep at the helm..(where the little woman won't see it of course).

I knew there was a reason I don't read the bible...sounds like a publication that could stir up some trouble?

Luckily, my wife really likes fishing, she tends to get a little too excited when she hooks one, so much so that as she gets it close and I say "keep your rod tip up", she promptly launches the poor fish into the stratosphere. Fortunately, more than a few still managed to land inside the boat.

I've found the secret to fishing and not drinking too much lies in the accounting...
I always measure in "dog beers" that way my limit is two!

BTW, windier than a mother today...

"Class" is also a thing of the past. I see today where Jerry Lewis at 87 said that he doesn't think women comdedians are funny and he quickly got a retort from good liberal Tina Fey that he could Go Fu-- himself.

Then, Bette Midler thanks the IRS for targeting the Tea Party because they preach "Hate." I guess that's what washed up non talented people do to get their names in the paper and online. What the dumb ass doesn't realize is that maybe they will come after her someday or someone else she likes if they are allowed to do now.

Common sense, class, manners, fairness, are words that are strange to many today.

midnightsstaff said...

Actually I forgot the most important part of the benefits of having her row up wind- an oversight.
While she is getting an excellent cardio workout and working on that pec foundation, she is in the best position to observe your fishing technique but more importantly she sees how a real captain on the high lakes thinks and makes decisions.

I assume you are using a post type casting seat so be sure to point out that even though she is on a folding lawn chair how with ease and comfort you can work both sides of the lake- explain that weight distribution is the reason the ice chest goes far foredeck so could you pass me another cold one hon?- besides she might need a short break just don't let her cool down or start popping blisters.

Work up to the point that when you swing your feet to starboard and point with a subtle shrug she naturally feathers the oars so as not to make any arhythmatic rowing noises.
It's like riding a horse, you communicate with a subtle shift of weight.
..communicating your decisions like other things can be most effective when delivered silently and unexpectedly, it's a thing of beauty to watch a team that are able to communicate seamlessly- keeping the helmsman or in this case the rower alert is paramount on any vessel.

She should catch on soon being smart enough to marry you, but keep reminding her that oars can spook the fish and catching them is the reason you two are on the lake that early in the morning to begin with- "repetition for retention".

Eventually a level of communication and understanding much the same as that of a championship golfer and his trusted caddie should be established.

Fishing can be not only be a fun experience to share with your honey but also a real learning opportunity in the bargain because you really get to know someone spending just a few hours in a boat- just ask the passengers of the Minnow.

At some point it should become obvious to everyone in the boat why you keep encouraging her to zig zag from shore to shore, of course it's to take advantage as much good structure as possible and make the best out of what might be considered a less than perfect day.
.. and after all wouldn't catching a few more fish cheer everyone on the Bounty up a bit?- come on.. where's that smiley face?- hey hand me another cold one babe..

just for luck.

Hey Jim,

I'm not sure I should be posting here any more. I made a comment about liberal bleeding hearts being too gutless to sentence sweet Jodi to death, and I was called a sociopath by someone who's apparently worked with nutjobs for many years and recognized my dangerous psyche for what it truly is.

The horrible thing is, I felt proud, not sad. I reckon that IS the true mark of a sociopath.

And here I was simply thinking about what's right and wrong based on the way I was brought up. dammit, Mom - you raised a psycho!!!!

Well, I am PROUD to be an American and will be enjoying Memorial Day. I am also PROUD to be posting here with all of these great bloggers (seriously). And PROUDLY I display here Lee Greenwood's anthem to our great and PROUD country:

God Bless The USA

by Lee Greenwood

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I'd worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.

I'd thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can't take that away.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there's pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.

That I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

And I'm proud to be and American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

Well it was a bit strange, normally I don't get in anyone's biscuits unless they call me names a few times in print or are just absolute fools.

The media loves these sideshows that take our attention off the real damage being done to the country and gets us emotionally involved in something that in the end is meaningless to our own lives.

Thank goodness Mark Levin is back, he is exactly right.. there is no talk whatsoever about any real solutions like getting the IRS and all the other abusive government bungholes to quit strangling us.

I sense Mark is starting to see how disingenuous the RINO's have behaved- he brought up why did the Republicans wait until now to expose the issue?
good question with only one honest answer- they wanted the tea party candidates to be harassed.

These hearings are a sideshow and an insult to America.

Republicans like that jerk Issa are worse if you ask me because they are not honest but want us to believe they are.

Someone needs to ask the punkass Republicrats where the hell they were year ago when all this was known about?

Issa and the rest of these asshatts can kiss my ass.

It just amazes me what a bunch of phonies and liars we have now and it's even more disgusting that they actually have support.

It's almost comical to hear all the liars saying how they don't know anything about this or that when we know they all know everything and are just weaseling their way out.

It's been said that shit flows from the top. Nothing could be more true with Washington.

Bodo got to keep his blog while the rest of us got ours taken away, for the most part...I guess you can still post on the main page though. Right? You just have to pay money for a subscription. Actually, I am not completely sure how it works now because I am no longer a participant on the AzCentral pay per view site. But I can say for an absolute fact that Bodo & his b-buddies at AzCentral ruined the experience for me. But if you ever want to see some of the old AzCentral posters, just check out the KPHO free site. Check it out quick, tho, because they are already in the process of trashing that place too. KPHO has already begun censoring certain words, removing whole comments, & disallowing comments on certain stories...So, again, I guess you are right, Jim. Your assessment of Bodo is correct; he is a total loser.

Just to keep the record straight though about his blogging, he was never asked to be a blogger at AZ central when it began in 2006.

Mickey Greenburg, me, Bob Amento, and 9 others were asked to be bloggers on Dec. 5, 2006 when the blogs began. Bodo was never asked. In fact, he called me a few months after the blogs began asking how he could join. Even then he was weird as he started reciting some dumb ass poetry that he had written.

I guess he could be considered a "special" blogger if "special" is used as a term to denote being "retarded." LOL

As far as Bodo getting to keep his blog under the new set up, it's not so. He is there because he asked to be put on and they need bodies since most of the people on that list never participate.

I was asked initially because I was the top blogger under AZ Central and had a good following. I turned them down because I didn't like the setup but last November at election time they put me on anyway to comment on that event so I write about two blogs a month there now.

Happily, I get more hits than any one, especially Bodo which has to drive him mad! He can't figure out that nobody likes him or cares what he has to say. Kind of like we have felt since he first made his appearance.

It reminds me of when Andrew Lloyd Webber said to someone that he didn't understand why people take an immediate dislike for him.

The guy answered: "It saves time."

Same with Bozo.

..by the way this video was shot in 2011 before the election.

Ron Paul was warning us about the folly of having our military occupy the 3rd. world, but we just laughed at his naivete- he knew that the fastest way to deplete the military is by deploying them all over Africa spreading the disease and getting mired in foreign politics like he has in Libya, Egypt and now Syria.

It's the Cloward Piven approach to the ruination of the military with the same approach he uses domestically to destroy the economy and it's working.

Ya nearly have to go to the British press exclusively for any real news on the unicorn worshiping movement towards diversity and inclusion that has swept Europe.

.."In a country famed for its model welfare state, the rioting has exposed a fault-line between a well-off majority and a minority - often young people with immigrant backgrounds.

Many of those from the underclass are poorly educated, cannot find work and feel pushed to the edge of society.

Underscoring Sweden's ambivalence toward its open immigration policies, an anti-immigrant party has risen to third in polls this year and some analysts say the riots could swell its ranks."..

What was it again that led to the rise of Adolph Hitler?
..high unemployment with the youth.
..a collapsed economy with little to hope for.

It's worse this time because you can throw in the Crusades part whatever it's up to now ..and we are now calling illegals "undocumented citizens".

.."the Nixon administration had indeed deliberately abandoned many hundreds of American POWs in Vietnam at the close of the war, and our government afterward spent decades covering up this shameful crime."
.. it goes further..

.."Although a major focus of Schanberg’s account was the central role that Sen. John McCain had played in leading the later cover-up, the national media ignored these detailed charges during McCain’s bitter 2008 presidential campaign against Barack Obama. One of America’s most distinguished living journalists published what was surely “the story of the century” and none of America’s newspapers took notice."

http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/silent-treatment/

..This article doesn't take a red vs. blue pill approach, it's pretty long and takes some concentration so don't just give it the once over- we have some systemic problems that a legitimate press would have brought to light and it's been going on long before I recently woke up.. but the press doesn't do it's Constitutionally protected duty and I'm pretty sure you know why just like I and a lot of other people do."

I'm reminded of one of the iconic statements in modern cinema.."you can't handle the truth".

Two recent examples of how to deal with terror... erh, I mean liberals..

One, the NRA went on offense and beat back the gun grabbing terrorists and sent a message.
.."Don't tread on me".

Two, the Boy Scouts of America tried to deal with them and split the difference..
.."Don't hurt me".. they might as well disband.

If the Boy Scouts have the idea that they can make deals with the politically correct destroyers of our culture they might as well fold tents, obviously this was just another a tactic by the left to destroy our culture like they are doing with marriage.

People of good character will rally around a good fight, but turn their heels on the Neville Chamberlain approach.

I feel sorry for the Scouts and the loss of what they represent but if they have no more backbone to resist obvious attacks then they should just go quietly into the dark and quit whining about it.

I will continue to support the NRA and GOA but won't lift a finger to help someone who is not interested in helping themselves,
I guess they will just have to bribe a politician instead, maybe a fag politician. After all there are plenty of those available.

Jim McAllister said...

I was never into scouting. My older brother was huge in it; became an Eagle scout with a ton of those merit badges. The last time I saw him that was about the only accomplishment he had ever made.

I gave the Boy Scouts a shot but bowed out after two weeks since I kept falling asleep at the boring meetings. Tying different kinds of knots was not my idea of a good time.

Everyone is caving these days. Fortunately, most things go in cycles and this may do the same.

Too many people are worried about hurt feelings. To them I say, "Guess, what? If this is the most your poor feelings ever get hurt, you will be doing well."

How about Barry's phony "feel good" tour to Oklahoma. It's a shame some can't figure out he is a politician first and a humanitarian far down his list of priorities.

Maybe they should talk to the residents of Louisiana.

Of course when 99% of the comments are against her it's understandable.

The next time she goes to Mexico with her Mexican husband the government should revoke her passport and make her stay there.

Better yet she should take Roberts Benson and Montini with her and have the government pull all their passports.

I think the pravda article is bunk. Trying to fan the flames of conspiracy fans everywhere. Yes, true, two FBI guys were killed in a fall from a helicopter, (no reports it was black), but there doesn't seem any credible evidence to back up the claim that these men had any involvement with the apprehension of the Boston bombers...

There were lots of reports that said the older Tsarnaev brother was in shot in a shoot out with LOCAL police, not the FBI...

And the actual cause of death was his being run over by a vehicle which was being driven by his little brother.

Whatever sells papers I guess...?

.."Some of McCain’s fellow captives at Hoa Lo prison in Hanoi didn’t share his views about prisoners left behind. Before he died of leukemia in 1999, retired Col. Ted Guy, a highly admired POW and one of the most dogged resisters in the camps, wrote an angry open letter to the senator in an MIA newsletter—a response to McCain’s stream of insults hurled at MIA activists. Guy wrote, “John, does this [the insults] include Senator Bob Smith [a New Hampshire Republican and activist on POW issues] and other concerned elected officials? Does this include the families of the missing where there is overwhelming evidence that their loved ones were ‘last known alive’? Does this include some of your fellow POWs?"

This should rub everyone the wrong way....?

The US has entered into a contract with a real estate firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices. The government has decided it no longer needs these buildings, many of which are located on prime land in towns and cities across the country.

The sale of these properties will fetch billions of dollars and a handsome 6% commission to the company handling the sales. That company belongs to a man named Richard Blum. Who is Richard Blum you ask?

Why the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein, that's who. What a bunch of crooks we have running this country!

Senator Feinstein and her husband, Richard Blum, stand to make a fortune. His firm, C.R. I., is the sole real estate company offering these properties for sale. Of course, C.R.I. will be making a 6% commission on the sale of each and every one of these postal properties.

All of these properties that are being sold are all fully paid for. They were purchased with U.S. taxpayers dollars, and they are allowed free and clear by the U.S.P.S. The only cost to keep them is the cost to actually keep the doors open and the heat and lights on. The United States Postal Service doesn't even have to pay property taxes on these subject properties. Would you sell your house just because you couldn't afford to pay the electric bill?

Well, the Post Office is.

How does a powerful U.S. Senator from San Francisco manage to get away with such a sweet deal?

A powerful United States Senator's husband is standing by, all ready to make millions from a U.S. taxpayer funded enterprise.

No one in the mainstream media is even raising an eyebrow over his 6% commission on the sale of hundreds of millions of dollar's worth of quasi-public assets.

Pass this info on before it's pulled from the internet.

PROUD said...

Middy....I spelled out what I believe to be a simple, already constitutional, fix to pretty much ALL the problems we face. My idea?

R.A.I.N. (Replace All Incumbents Now)

IF, in just one major election cycle, the American people would, collectively, get mad enough to muster the nerve to THROW EACH AND EVERY INCUMBENT OUT OF ELECTED OFFICE, (regardless of party)...

It would be the second coming of THE SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD and forever change the balance of power from a people who fear and are servants to their government....to... a government who fears and is servants to the people!(now where have we heard that concept?)

Sure, some good would be tossed with the bad, that's the price to be paid, but the new politicians, having just witnessed the power of the people for the first time, would certainly have a more than healthy respect for the power of the people....And yes that would mean inexperienced leadership, but isn't that exactly what we had when this nation was started?

None of this revolution is subversive, none requires any new legislation, all that is needed is for the folks to make a decision to actually take back their country.

My RAIN initiative is word for word what Thomas Jefferson had in mind when he said:

~~“When the people fear the government there is tyranny,~~ when the government fears the people there is liberty.”~~

Time to put some fear in the arrogant, self serving ass-hats we have allowed to make themselves into this nations RULING CLASS!!

Arizona... reddest of red states just voted in Juan McAmnesty for six more years and now he has infected the non thinking Flake making him do his dirty work in pushing for gun control so the GOP can continue getting money from Bloomberg for Christ sake!.. how much more does it take?

I have told Jim that I think Arizona will be a nice power blue state in two, maybe three election cycles and nothing has changed my mind.

Try to keep in mind that we are on the same side of the argument, just differ in how we see the issue- if what happened to this country between 2009 and 2012 couldn't move the political needle then just exactly what the hell can?

in short, the GOP in it's present form has no answers to the Statist purge that is coming
but I can't even get the Republicans to honestly look at their own party corruption.. we can't even get past step one of admitting a problem and there are eleven more to go..
Al Einstein defined insanity.

Do you admit that every day more third world trash is paid to filter in and vote in our elections? with that fact alone explain how are we going to vote every incumbent out?

Agree, after all, they're bidding with OUR money.

I still believe there's a tremendous amount of unrest in most circles (even some discontent in Maxine's ghetto)that could coalesce into a movement.

In today's society, any movement would have to be seen as popular and cool, the informed would join because they are aware of the corruption and unbalanced, unchecked, political power being wielded...the young and stupid would join because it would be a way to make a statement against society (or as we used to call it, The Man), and the low information voters would eventually glam on, like the sheep they are because other folks were doing it ...

I say you are making two mistakes, one in thinking that they are actually interested in anything other than what they can steal and the greater mistake would be to assume they use the same criteria for logic that you, I, or any reasonable, moral person does.

No it will take blood in the streets to get their attention and by the time that happens HLS will be in the streets in full battle gear defending any threat to status quo.

There is a reason they ran that test run in Boston- to see if we had any spine left.. and we don't, the subjected cheered HLS for invoking martial law and training them to cower inside, I mean "shelter inside" for no reason.

History wrongly ascribed to John Adams his quote when he was talking about the French Revolution and said 1/3 supported, 1/3 opposed and 1/3 didn't know.
He was talking about the French Revolution, but the fact remains that still less than a majority of British subjects in the colonies supported the final revolution of 1776 that had been building for twenty some years.
Ben Franklin's own son William was a supporter of the Crown as the governor of New Jersey throughout the conflict, they both died hating each other over the issue.
Many say it was the first American Civil war.

In short, these things are never cut and dried nor are they settled before dinner tonight.

I certainly hope you are right and I am dead wrong but history indicates differently.

Freedom is worth fighting for, but not all people deserve freedom- I think we can agree.
Also a whole lot of the freeloaders in any society are natural born slaves- our first mistake was giving blanket citizenry with all the rights including voting to those who don't understand it nor care,
same as with illegal immigration/voting rights that is on it's way.

I respect your opinion but respectfully disagree with your conclusion.
