THE McCOYS...Rick Derringer's band from 1965. Their big hit was "HANG ON SLOOPY" from Octo- ber of that year. Rick is second from bottom, he recently turned 59 and is still at it. (Rhapsody. com)
I got to see Rick Derringer perform recently. He is from this area, Dayton, Ohio! His family still lives around here. Derringer is his stage name/not his birthname.
He put on a wonderful show and looks great for 57! We should all be so lucky!
