I hope everyone is as “Trayvoned out” as I am because
frankly, everything is going as scheduled with his followers and
pseudo-followers who are on their obligatory destruction of property and random
beatings of innocent white people. The
only surprising thing was that it took a couple of days for the action to
start. Maybe that is why Sharpton
decided he better hold some protests in 100 cities around the country to
further the hatred he has instilled in the white and black communities.
Black leaders like Sharpton are a detriment to their race
but he is one smart SOB because he has the knack of being able to rile his
masses with his “from the pulpit” bullshit about how deprived blacks are in
this country and how they should fight back against the oppressive white demons. If guys like him weren’t around stirring up
trouble, whites and blacks would probably have a much more peaceful
co-existence.
Al is definitely the “orator from hell,” kind of like Jesse
Jackson used to be when he wasn’t fathering out of wedlock children. I saw that Jesse was marching with Al and the
gang the other day and was even helping hold their banner. However, Jesse looked pretty pudgy now and
seemed a bit quiet since he is 71 and been eating high off the hog for many years. Either that or he may feel his parenting
skills lack after his son (Jesse Jr.) pleaded guilty to one
count of conspiracy in a U.S. District Court, after allegedly misusing hundreds
of thousands of campaign dollars on personal expenses. Gosh, what is a father to do?
These guys love to use the religious
connotations calling themselves “Reverend.”
I guess they figure it gives them a more religious flavor with their
followers. It’s brilliant and seems to
have worked even if their degrees (degrees?) were obtained from a matchbook cover advertised institution.
Now, out of the woodwork springs Eric
Holder who plans to see if he can come up with some trumped up civil rights
charge against George Zimmerman. What a
guy Eric is: He screwed up Fast and
Furious among other things and he has the nerve to call Darrell Issa “shameful.” Holder is the poster boy for "shameful." I don't know he can sleep at night.
Let's face it; the relationship between the white and black races have not improved one bit. Guys like Obama and Holder have made matters worse. The Trayvon thing is a good example.
Here is a nice column from Ted Nugent
that you may enjoy reading. I know I did.
256 comments:
1 – 200 of 256 Newer› Newest»Yeah, I knew all these protestors would get on my bad side & now they have done just that. They want to take down our Stand Your Ground laws. They want to take the guns that law abiding people use for self defense away. I suppose that if we are confronted by an aggressor, they want our only defense to be to run & hope while running that the aggressor himself is not armed & isn't a better runner...Not only is that just plain wrong -- the right to defend one's life is a basic human right in my book -- but it is also unrealistic. Like, for instance, how in the world was Jorge Zimmerman supposed to run from Travon Martin when Zimmerman was already on his back under Martin & screaming, "Help!" like a little girl?
You know who has been notably absent from this debate? The Latino community. Did you see all those marchers on the news tonight? Not a Latino in sight. Despite the fact that Al Sharpton himself was here in Phoenix a few years ago marching por la causa...Yeah, I guess the Latinos weren't as easy to fool with that "white hispanic" label as, say, Stevie Wonder. But he's blind, they're not...
I also have an issue with their disrespect of the Double Jeopardy clause.
Exactly right on the gun issue, a rational person will have to come to the conclusion that giving any part of the second amendment rights away is to eventually give them all away.
Jeff Flake is a fool to think that his common sense approach to gun control is anything short of the beginning of a national registry, which has to be in place to ever do a confiscation of firearms.
We simply have no statesmen available in this state it seems.
Did you read about that veto that Jan did on the hospital billing issue?
Political whores are the slimiest of the slime.
I have a new hero amongst the politicians in Congress:
Rep. Andy Harris, R-Maryland, said demonstrators protesting Zimmerman's acquittal need to "get over it."
"We're hung up on this one case, where this one fellow was, in fact, found not guilty by a jury. That's the way the American law system works," he said Tuesday in a radio interview with WMAL.
If the Republicans are really against Eric Holder and Obama, then things will get done the legal way and remove both of them.
Eric Holder can't say "radical" and "Islam" in the same sentence. I sincerely believed that it was a trick to divide Islam, but now it would appear that Holder is Muslim and a traitor to the United States of America.
Is Islam behind the Zimmerman protests? Apparently so.
http://www.islamtimes.org/vdcaeenuw49nam1.tgk4.txt
Black preachers are starting to show their true colors also. This simmering hatred is boiling over.
“We have a black man in the White House, but Trayvon Martin can’t walk without suspicion through the streets of his own gated community,” he said during his sermon, later adding, “Here we are, again, staring bigotry in the face, staring racism in the face, staring in the face of old logic that black life is not as valuable as white life.”
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/07/15/pastors-across-america-dress-in-hoodies-at-the-pulpit-to-protest-zimmerman-verdict-and-to-decry-alleged-bigotry-and-racism/#
All President Obama has to do is play the peacemaker a bit longer and when protests get out of hand, he'll have to declare martial law.
It's funny though, because the military has also been trying to figure out who is behind the intentional collapse of the United States of America.
Sun Tzu said, divide and conquer. Islam has their own version of Sun Tzu.
They tried to take our guns by allowing school murders and with all the surveillance, it's impossible that they could have occurred.
Now they're gonna stir racial hatred to divide us and it's working.
Finding heroes in Congress is like finding a complete set of chicken teeth in a box of KFC,
it just doesn't happen very often.
But we take what we get.
Rick, for the past week or so you have been making sense- either that or I am starting to slip.
I might not agree but at least you are right about Holder and Obama blocking progress ..
But I doubt we have a Republican in Congress with the temerity to face the dragon, so it looks like God will have to remove the cancerous tissue if anyone does.
..there is a reason those health records were sealed.
Middy,
I join you with your comment to Rick about his recent posts. I agree.
Kudos to Rick.
"So why don't we ever agree on any subject Cj- have you ever given it much thought?" No, Middy. Actually, I have often wondered why you seem to have such a hard time remembering all the subjects on which we do agree.
My position on the right to bear arms has never wavered in all the years that you have known me. And on the issue of whether we should jack with our laws & constitutional rights in order to achieve the desired result of the overly passionate, writhing masses, you have had me in your corner in this case ever since the jury verdict was handed in.
I still do not think I would like George Zimmerman much on a personal level but, true to my form, on a rational level, I know the verdict is in &, therefore, Zimmerman is innocent in both my eyes & the eyes of the law. Now, there is another issue on which we often agree...
Good, so now when I say this has been nothing but a smokescreen from the beginning to keep the focus off Bengazi you will agree?
And if you do agree then shouldn't we all be trying to get people to quit with the popcorn and circus nonsense and do their job as they were elected to?
it's really simple yet as one smart feller once noted..
.."It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it."
So how do we get past that obvious reality?

..“We have obtained an affidavit from a certified document analyzer, Reed Hayes, that states the document is a 100 percent forgery, no doubt about it,” Zullo told the World Tribune.
“Mr. Obama’s operatives cannot discredit [Hayes],” the investigator told the news outlet. “Mr. Hayes has been used as the firm’s reliable expert. The very firm the president is using to defend him on the birth certificate case has used Mr. Hayes in their cases.”
The Tribune reported Hayes agreed to take a look at the documentation and called almost immediately.
“There is something wrong with this,” Hayes had said"..
and...
.."In over 20 years of examining documentation of various types, I have never seen a document that is so seriously questionable in so many respects. In my opinion, the birth certificate is entirely fabricated,” he says in the report"..
There is a reason they want to eliminate Sheriff Joe from the national spotlight.

here comes the brownshirts.
I love this comment from Conrad Black of "The National Review:
Deprived of the usual stacked deck, the prosecution, roused to action by that ineffable pillar of popular theology and racial harmony, the Reverend Al Sharpton, relied not just on playing the race card and, as Johnnie Cochrane’s co-counsel said of him in the O. J. Simpson case, dealing it “off the bottom of the deck.” It emulated the opening of My Little Chickadee, where W. C. Fields, faced with a hand of four aces, put down five aces and claimed the pot.
CJ,
"Help!" like a little girl? I read that as a crack against Zimmerman. Correct?
"You know who has been notably absent from this debate? The Latino community. Did you see all those marchers on the news tonight? Not a Latino in sight."
That's because they (Latinos)are mostly a hell of a lot smarter. They are on thin ice and they don't want to do anything to exacerbate that situation.
They might do some marching and flag waving at times but I don't think you will see them destroying property and smashing out windows of businesses and cars like the blacks do or beating up white people.
"White Hispanic" was supposedly dreamed up by that bastion of conservatism, The New York Times."
I'm, very proud of the women on that jury for hanging in there and doing what they thought was right. It took a lot of guts to say "Not guilty" with all the liberal idiots there ready to pounce.
Middy,
I wrote a blog (submitted yesterday) for the Republic Politics blog relating the gun laws in Phoenix in 1945 and what they were after K. T. Palmer addressed the situation.
I'll send notice when it is published. I don't know what is taking so long for them to publish. It's interesting.
Maybe I am too pro conservative. Stay tuned.
Glo,
One nice thing about fools is that their stupidity usually translates into short attention spans.
As soon as it is not beneficial to discuss Trayvon anymore they will turn their attention to the next flavor of the day. Let's see: Hmmmmm.....I heard those Obamaphones don't have good reception. There is something for them to stew on for at least a week.
Good points, Rick.
I remember Selma and the King marches very well from the 60s and it seemed like violence would spring up from those lunch counter sit-ins but compared to today, it was nothing.
While many thought racial strife was declining with the extended opportunities to blacks, it has only gotten worse. It doesn't help that guys like Sharpton keep throwing gas on the fire but that is how they make their livelihood.
Their followers are too dumb and angry to see through Sharpton and endorse someone like that Dr. Ben Carson; he's a guy who could instill some common sense.
finding a complete set of chicken teeth in a box of KFC
Love the analogy!
Middy,
I hate to be repetitive but we have seen all the anti Obama citizen fights forever. Do you really think something will happen this time?
I hope it does but I have been disappointed so far. I wish they would get him. Can you imagine the embarrassment if he was illegal and pulled it off?
National service, huh? Ford will love it; a lot of government sales of those Crown Vics. Ray Ban too, got to have shades.
On your article about early gun laws in Phoenix, this is what happens when we grant others control over our God given or Natural Law based rights.
The police are not there to protect you- get that out of your head, they are there to maintain order and to preserve the peace, therefore originally they were called Peace Officers instead of Law Enforcement.
The Chief of Police was playing politics with his gatekeeper position and abusing the authority- good thing K.T. knew the law eh?
Mencken once said...
.."What the common man longs for in this world, before and above all his other longings, is the simplest and most ignominious sort of peace: the peace of a trusty in a well-managed penitentiary.
He is willing to sacrifice everything else to it. He puts it above his dignity and he puts it above his pride.
Above all, he puts it above his liberty.
The fact, perhaps, explains his veneration for policemen, in all the forms they take–his belief that there is a mysterious sanctity in law, however absurd it may be in fact.
A policeman is a charlatan who offers, in return for obedience, to protect him (a) from his superiors, (b) from his equals, and (c) from himself".
..and I might add is increasingly willing to arbitrarily place someone in jail for their own good whether the situation calls for it or not.

You can't make this crap up.
But after listening to her on Piers show it is plain that this was not a racially motivated attack, she told No Limit Nigga on the phone that this creepy ass crakka was a boy rapist and apparently the blunt NLNigga had just smoked had him quite a bit paranoid.
She indicated by the time they had talked he was thinking GZ was a gay male rapist- so the soon to be matriculating ms. Jeantile just told the world this was a hate crime and No Limit Nigga was the perp by then attacking what he thought was a gay white guy.
The juror also said it was never a question of race.
Really if you had lights, helicopters, crime scene tape and tv news why did it take the parents three days to realize No Limit Nigga wasn't home with the skittles and tea yet?
So what the hell is this racism Jackson and Sharpton talking about?

Open counsel meeting..
One can be entertained for hours in that state by just sitting in public watching them do what they do best.
yeah.. Santa Cruz Clownafornia.
CJ, I'm starting to like you more and more every day.
You're absolutely right that defending yourself is a fundamental right regardless of the color of one's skin or their sex.
I've had a concealed carry permit for 15 years and carry all the time, not because I'm looking for trouble, but because I have a right to defend myself and my family if need be.
Jim, what did you say to Rick? He seems almost normal now.
"Holder recalled being pulled over twice by police on the New Jersey Turnpike as a young man and having his car searched, “when I’m sure I wasn’t speeding.” " http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/naacp-urges-eric-holder-do-the-right-thing/2013/07/16/530425da-ee49-11e2-9008-61e94a7ea20d_story.html
In Illinois, cops would pull us over for a dirty license plate and search the car. White teenagers. We often had cased guns after coming back from a hunting trip in the woods. Sometimes we got caught with a legal bag of squirrels. We still got searched.
It's a teenage thing. Holder needs to get past his prejudices against Whites, or resign.
Jim, It wasn't so much "a crack against Zimmerman" as it was an observation. At least one of the cries for help on the call that I heard could have been a little girl. So do you think otherwise? Did you listen to the call?
You know, they made a very good point on KTAR this morning. It was the Bruce St. James Show, I think. I was listening while driving. Here's what they said: this wasn't a stand your ground case at all. It was self defense -- an affirmative defense to murder charges in every state of the union -- & the argument that Zimmerman should have avoided shooting Martin never came up in court. Why? Because if it was Zimmerman on the ground, then he did not have the option of retreating & if it was Martin on the ground, then the State could say Zimmerman intended to shoot Martin & those were the charges the State wanted to prove. 2nd degree murder needs intent. So here's the point: Why is anybody even bitching about the stand your ground laws right now anyway? Those laws are irrelevant to this case & they are using a dead kid's body to further their political agenda. That's pretty cold, don't you think?
Thanks, Mike.
Middy,
Probably why we all carry these days is our worry of how cops will react.
K. T. Palmer was quite the character. I have a piece in the Friday Scottsdale Republic that also gives him a mention.
His book is long out of print (1971)but I managed to dig up a good copy from a Goodwill store in Tucson.
It's full of great stories and information about this area basicaall from his boyhood in Illinois to his arriving in AZ around 1930 and up until late 60s.
Proud,
I wonder if that idiot Janet Reitman is a liberal Democrat? Ya think?
I'm glad Rolling Stone is catching heavy heat over this but, hell, they are probably selling a lot of magazines which all they care about.
What's next? Free Attila?
Middy,
That guy's name is Tom Joyner. Must need some ratings. No sane person would get mixed up with that idiot Jeantel.
Strictly a publicity stunt. His ratings are probably in the cellar just like Piers Morgan. Desperate people.....
It kills them to see Fox owning the top six ratings for cable.
Rick,
Holder is a piece of sh--. Everyone with a brain knows it. Under any other president he would be long gone and maybe even in jail.
CJ,
Definitely cold.
I also listen to Bruce. Good show, I think he took over Darrell Ankarlo's spot a couple of years ago. I liked him too.
That was my point of the Rachelle's big moment with Piers interview, she stated that NLN was the aggressor and the reason he attacked was because he thought he was going to get in a little gay bashing.
It was the paranoia aspect of bad weed that let her get into his mind.
Street marijuana is notorious for giving some a bad case of "who's following me".
As for the scream, that's why men shouldn't scream, unless they go by the handle "Froggy" they sound like a little girl.
The prosecution demanded that logic be suspended while they deal out some street justice in court, it was that simple- nothing in the physical evidence indicated anything other than what happened happened.
To reiterate, the juror that came out said that race never was part of the decision.
NLN got off easy, he could have spent an entire ignorance based lifetime listening to people like Rachelle telling him how to think, how to act and splitting his time between prison and shacking up with something like her or some other std infected skeezer, "the bigger the hoop, the bigger the Ho".. and that sir to my way of thinking is the definition of living a hell on earth.

Stolen from the files of "Glo the Meticulous"
..and she had no idea I was going through her files..
Common Logical Fallacies..
Logical Fallacy #1:
Hasty Generalizations
These arguments are based on atypical, irrelevant, or inaccurate evidence—usually because the sample from which the evidence comes is too small:
Examples:
“Of course our students are physically fit; just look at the success of our sports teams!”
“All poets are suicidal. Look at Dorothy Parker’s poems—one of them is all about committing suicide.”
Logical Fallacy #2:
Post Hoc (Faulty Cause and Effect)
These arguments are based on the assumption that if event B happens after event A, then event B must be caused by event A.
Examples:
“Tourism in this city started to decline right after Mayor Scott was elected. To save our tourist industry, let's replace her now!”
“Margtaret Atwood wrote much of her poetry after Duncan Campbell Scott; therefore, her poetry must be influenced by his.”
Logical Fallacy #3:
Reductive Reasoning
This is an attempt to explain a complex effect through a simple cause.
Examples:
“My aunt lived to be ninety-four. She drank a glass of beer every day. If we all drink a glass of beer every day, we will live to be ninety-four.”
“Ambrose Bierce wrote a story that was sympathetic to a slave-holding plantation-owner. He must have approved of slavery.”
Logical Fallacy #4:
False Analogies
This occurs when a writer tries to draw similarities between two things that are so dissimilar that the comparison is absurd.
Examples:
“Why do I have to take English in order to graduate? I don’t have to buy vegetables to leave the grocery store!”
Logical Fallacy #5:
Begging the Question
This one is frequently mis-interpreted. What it means is to assume that the point you are arguing is true. If this really were the case, the point would not need arguing. This should not be confused with the attempt to argue something that is incontrovertible.
Examples:
“Improving public transportation in this city won't solve highway congestion. Even if public transportation is clean, safe, and efficient, people will still prefer to use their cars.”
“In tragedies, people die at the end of the story. The Taming of the Shrew is not a tragedy because no one dies at the end.”
..to be continued..
Logical Fallacy #6:
Circular Reasoning
The argument consists of stating the conclusion it was meant to support.
Examples:
“The priest is a good person because he is virtuous.”
“If the story had a different plot, the ending would be different.”
Logical Fallacy #7:
Ad Hominem
This means attacking the person rather than the argument (and was used extensively against Bill Clinton after the Monica Lewinsky scandal).
Examples:
“We can’t trust Bill Clinton to lead the country; he had an affair with an intern.”
“None of Al Purdy’s poetry is any good; he was an alcoholic.”
NOTE: a similar fallacy is the “straw man,” where a position is presented in its most extreme form in order to discredit its proponents.
Logical Fallacy #8:
False Dilemma
This comes from the assumption that there are only a very limited number (usually two) of interpretations or truths.
Example:
“Either 1+1=4 or 1+1=5. 1+1 does not equal 4; therefore, 1+1=5.”
“Either we support the death penalty or we allow crime to run rampant.”
“Either the ones who walk away from Omelas are cowards or they are stupid.”
Logical Fallacy #9:
Appeal to Popularity (Bandwagon Appeals)
This is the “everybody’s doing it, we should too” or “everybody thinks so” argument. I don’t think we need examples here!
Logical Fallacy #10:
Non Sequiturs
Literally, this means “it does not follow.” It happens when there really isn’t a clear connection between the premise (or starting point of the argument) and the conclusion.
Examples:
“Maria loves college, so she will make a great teacher.”
“Shakespeare wrote lots of great poems, so this poem by Shakespeare must be great.”
Other fallacies to avoid:
· Appeal to Authority: Just because Dr. Literature says it’s true doesn’t mean it is. Make your own argument!
· Appeal to Common Practice (closely related to the “Appeal to Tradition”—see “The Lottery”): aka “the lemming argument.”
“If everyone jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?
· Appeal to Novelty: New is not better; it’s just new. Likewise length; likewise moderate positions.
· Composition: individuals in a group have characteristics a, b, and c; therefore, the group must have characteristics a, b, and c. This one leads to a great deal of prejudice.
Things to remember
about all these fallacies:
· Most of the conclusions included in the examples above could be argued. The problem is that the reasoning provided in these examples is insufficient or not credible.
· The best way to "smoke out" unsound reasoning in your own writing is to ask yourself what your argument takes for granted.
Remove those assumptions, then rebuild your argument using stronger support--if such support exists.
well time for my two minutes of rage..

Middy,
Why do you seem to be attacking me?? And I don't recognize any of those examples.
That was by Glo
..ever seen a three card monte game?
Obviously no one will listen to me, so I figured they might listen to you.
..attacking??
I fail to see where ascribing those examples of the pitfalls normally found in debating with liberals or biggoted Archie Bunker type conservatives would be any way as a negative.
It was meant to be just a playful rally off that exhaustive tome you gave us a week ago on proper grammar and how to wield it.
I see examples every day of any number of these tactics being successfully employed on blogs everywhere.
Pink Mike was the worst offender closely followed by Bodo.
I thought it was both informative and educational...you ok?..
I'm OK after your explanation, but, honestly, I did initially perceive it as an 'attack' out of nowhere when nothing I had seemed to say in the blog warranted it. It felt like you were making very personal, negative condenceding remarks to me and I had no idea why.
We cool?
Yeah.. back off the cappuccino and I will try another two minutes of rage and take a shower using soap this time.
haha..
don't look for problems where they don't exist, there are plenty of legitimate problems- you just don't know me yet.
Jim, great article on azvoices. You're right about being 21 to buy a handgun and carry concealed in Arizona. We are one of three states that have that law but it only applies to the state. That's why I've had an Arizona CCW permit for 15 years because I travel in the western states on vacation and they recognize my permit.
I'm on the az blog site and when I say I have a permit and carry a gun I get comments from gun hating liberals like you're a coward and live in fear to I just what to shoot people. Typical liberals. I always assure them that I would never waste a perfectly good bullet on a liberal.
If you want a good laugh check out Donna Greathouse's blog on the Zimmerman case. She must of been there that night Martin was shot because she has all the answers.
Yeah I have an Ariz cc, a state issued lifetime retirement cc and in this great state you need neither to lawfully carry concealed, I love it..
No road rage to speak of, no gangbangers thinking they can run their street hustle, and compared to the fools to the left of us we live in a very safe living environment- trust me on that one.
When I rolled up on a yard years ago to start my career I wondered about all the over the top handshaking that goes on every morning after yard opens, especially with the LA gang members and Pisas-
Not so much with the blacks but the White Boys certainly did the meet and greet every morning.
A salty old guard told me that was because they want to see if everything was cool that morning or should they expect a shank sometime during the day- so like dogs sniffing butts the handshaking ritual has it's roots in human nature and it's insecurities.
It started long ago and will continue.
It also to an extent carries over to the staff running the program- sometimes not going out of the way sends a message I guess.
I have had a few people come to me feeling me out for what's the issue when it was just me dealing with something totally unrelated.
Life imitates art, some things are the same inside or out.
Guess I should make the rounds doing the gladhand every morning eh?
So Gloria...Shake Baby Shake...

Absolutely no mention of guilt, responsibility or fairness, just another attempted 'black'-mail of the system among other things to keep racial tensions simmering by the feral black Congresspeople.
..Fattah said in his letter, "I understand the important role cities play in the economic vitality of metropolitan regions and our nation as a whole. Our cities serve as economic engines leading to innovations, job creation and growth. Moreover, cities like Detroit are strategically aligned, within their respective regions, to attract economic opportunities for their surrounding areas. As such, we must do all we can to protect these cities and work toward their prosperity"..(want to supersize that Whopper?)

I read part of Donna's piece. It was so off the wall and way too long for that subject that I didn't finish it
You're right. She is such a crazed liberal she has no clue about the real world.
She is very frustrated. Her blogs are all that way. She writes as though she is screaming at the reader that they better pay attention and believe her.
Not much class bus that figures. The key word is "liberal". Look at the characters we knew on azcentral. They were the ones with their bad manners that ended those blogs. Guys like Bodo, downtowner, AZ Liberal, etc.
Mike,
I forgot to say "Thanks" for the nice words. Glad you enjoyed the piece.
My deepest condolences to the mother of Trayvon Martin, but there are too many political giants involved and she may not like the combing.
It's not Middy or Mike who will be starting a civil war. It's more like a coup, if you ask me.
Wouldn't it be confusing if a President overthrew his own office? Eh?
Will the Republicans, in an effort to avoid being called racists, do away with self defense laws? Don't forget that midterm elections are coming up.
I figure that someday, my happy little videos will be seen as subversive. I cited the Bible in this last one and in a world run by Islam, that's a death sentence.
However, I'm a widower. It's fatwa to kill a crazy man and that is to my advantage.
I've been two days trying to upload "Angels in Disguise." It's a very uplifting video. Adobe even spent the day on the phone today to try and figure it out.
Adobe's tech just said that the Internet is overcrowded lately.
I don't own no blue steel .44.. (that's Joe you are confusing me with).
Yeah it took me by surprise, I thought she was just putting me on.
..it's a long line I tell ya.
well no farm, no howl I guess.
Hey if Motown gets federal bailout money get ready for an avalanche.. every insolvent government and that is every big east coast metro and some states will be forming a line.. this could be a pivotal moment- in fact it could be the seemingly small thing that sets off an economic avalanche.
Middy,
I especially thank K. T. Palmer for his part in the handgun laws here. It was nice when I moved here to know that my blunderbus .38 was legal to carry unconcealed.
It's always with me all night and when I drive anywhere. I would hate to think it wasn't there if I ever had a situation that required its use.
It's not a lifestyle I have grown up with in the mid-west but times change and a guy has to do what he has to do.
“We refused to throw in the towel and do nothing. We refused to let Detroit go bankrupt..." -- BO
"I read part of Donna's piece. It was so off the wall and way too long for that subject that I didn't finish it"
Yeah Jim, she's a real nut-job. I didn't finish reading it either.
Middy,
Chaka Fattah? That sounds like a name that the person who owned it wouldn't be able to pronounce since it requires saying two words in a row with two syllables. She (She?) better call in Rachel Jeantel to translate (as long as it isn't in cursive!).
Yeah, I saw that. There was also a photo the other day in the news of a bunch of Detroit citizens (whiteys) on their riding mowers pitching in to help Detroit since they can't afford to cut the grass.
Excuse me but when i see that, I remember Clint Eastwood's line from "Unforgiven": "Who owns this shithole?!
Steve,
She really rambles on especially when it is some liberal charged issue which is about the only stuff she talks about. She really to put a sock in it.
A typical "rant and rave" personality. Liberals are the most self righteous, unrealistic people on Earth. They have their silly idealism and that it is the way it has to be.
I'm glad that Jim Barber, Tom Patterson, and I are on the Politics blogs to offset the nonsense of that pack of liberals they have there. Fortunately most of them get few readers and most don't even post so that helps.
Middy,
Hey if Motown gets federal bailout money get ready for an avalanche.. every insolvent government and that is every big east coast metro and some states will be forming a line.. this could be a pivotal moment- in fact it could be the seemingly small thing that sets off an economic avalanche.
Good point. Alphabetically let's start with Atlantic City. They could use some free dough. LOL
Obama is so damn dumb and his this government so screwed up I don't know if it can ever be repaired. He even has the unions terribly pissed over Obamacare and part time workers are saying nationally that there hours are becoming different. Hell yeah they are, it's Obamacare.
Charles Barkley: "I agree with the verdict." Watch this short interview:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/07/18/charles_barkley_on_zimmerman_trial_i_agree_with_the_verdict.html
Barkley always has spoken his mind, I'm no Charles Barkley fan but at least he is honest about most of this issue.
Oh the Detroit bailout is going to be a racial issue before this is over.
actually it's a muslim issue if you are honest, and incidentally Chaka Fattah is a dude.. a black dude, a Philadelphia house of Saud dude.
a bit of volatility in the Japanese stock market.. nothing to worry about, remain calm..
..of course when you have a runaway nuclear melt down going on stock losses tend to lose their impact.
I'm afraid to stand next to the tuna stack at Costco any more..
going to look for a geiger counter tomorrow on ebay.. "don't shop without it"
sheezam.. I think I just thought of a great business idea.. shoppers geiger counters..
brilliant!

..don't often see this type of fall off.
Wei Tu Low.. Sum Ting Wong.. Ho Lee..
lol..

Keep in mind in the early sixties this city rivaled the great metros of Europe.
uh-oh..
Here ya are, Jimmy. You're the first to see, "Angels in Disguise."
http://youtu.be/4AOLQuwZUaw
I heard about this book today & I want it: "The Law of Self Defense" by Andrew F. Branca. Gotta have it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM
lol.."at least we're not Detroit".. no, you're "the mistake by the lake".. low budget ad campaign trying to clean up Clevistan's image.
Middy,
A dude, huh? I thought maybe it was a relative of Chaka Khan!
It's Kayaking time. I've been talking to Adobe all day long, editing video, text, and for fun reading about the attorney general.
Obama is doing a good job at public behavior. He's surprisingly keeping all this low key. It's Eric Holder who is stomping his feet like that other filmmaker, but with conspiracy theories.
Angels in Disguise is like a self-help video for poor folks.
Kayaking trip cancelled.
I know. You guys are speechless at LJM's new short film. There will be more ... just fair warning.
Edgel Groves is pleased. He called it "earthy and real."
Unlike Eric Holder's legal opinions that are fake, fake, fake. I can't believe that the Black community is trying to politically profit from a young man's death.
Rick,
If Trayvon hadn't been born, would all this shit be happening? Of course it would; it would just be someone else.
I don't know what some of these black leaders want other than to feather their own nests, but I know that if ever there was a race of people needing BETTER leaders it is them.
How would you like to have to follow clowns like Jesse and Al? The good black people of this country are screwed because of guys like that who are nothing but opportunists. Those guys love people like Trayvon; he keeps them in business.
Rick,
"Angels in Disguise" is good; it looks like you guys are getting pretty professional with the rolling credits, etc. Good cause; nice to see the vets pitching in to help those people.
I love it. It never ends with this clown.
I guess he never heard of letting sleeping dogs lie.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/07/19/obama-addresses-trayvon-martin-case-in-briefing-room/
Jim, guys like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are nothing more than con artists and the trouble is most blacks actually believe their BS.
I think in a little over six hours I might actually have the winning bid on e-bay for the entire Packard Plant which also includes a concert hall and a rendering plant.
.wait, the plant is where?
..maybe that explains why there are no other bids..
tax liens from 1976?- with penalties and interest..what??
Amazing to think that in 1961- a little over fifty years ago (which was the last year of Republican leadership), that Detroit was the richest city in the US..
From what the liberals tell me it's obvious what they need is a light rail system to get the economy of Detroit back on it's feet.
So much for my dream of bringing back the Packard Clipper.
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1953-1956-packard-clipper5.htm - Damn Studebaker! they are the ones that destroyed Packer motors.
Actually I was planning to introduce a new model calling it the "Green Bay" Packer.. (any color you want as long as it's green or buttercup).. catchy eh?
..by the way mr. president, not only could you have been Trayvon, lots of us wish you were Trayvon.
Thanks Jim. I got a feeling that Adobe even wants this video to be a success too, I think.
Jimmy, there's no cause that we are pushing in this film, except independence and helping one another. I even made sandwiches to feed that crew! It was the least that I could do for filming them!
How about some tums for after dinner mints?
that would be a thoughtful touch.
I am wondering how this major city bankruptcy is going to affect the muni bonds market?
logic would tell you that the premiums would have to rise to keep the market alive, but with the alice in wonderland stock market as recent example I don't know what the outcome will be now.
Barrrrrak has had a bad week, first the NLN trial going south, his beard/wife redoing her dating image and now Detroit flat lining on him, he just can't get a break..
rumor is Juan Mcamnesty and that crazy new 1/136th percent Native American Senator from Mass. are in bed together to come up with a bill to re establish Glass Steagall- too little, too late- the damage has already been done..
..not a snowball's chance in hell of that happening anyway, but there I go again.. predicting the next chapter in alice in wonderland.
..Obama care thrown out by the Supreme Court..
..Romney in a landslide..
..Clownafornia regains it's sanity..- (ah I never said that!)
Give me a budget of $120,000 and our company will make a video in Washington about the Obama Administration and slanted just the way you like it!
/wiki/Demographic_history_of_Detroit:
1950:
Pop - 1,849,568; % white: 83.58; % black: 16.25;
2010:
Pop - 713,777; % white: 10.61; % black: 82.69;
..conclusion, math is racist language.
Well they have started the Friday night flash mobs in LA tonight, I sure wouldn't want to be living in some third world democrat stronghold, I doubt they would try that crap in Arizona..
..you ought to read the comments in the LA times,
http://discussions.latimes.com/20/lanews/la-me-ln-bash-mobs-southern-california-20130719/10
- sounds like a bunch of people are pretty fed up even in the land of milk and honey.
Just wait until it gets real when the snap cards go zero- he would like nothing better than to pull that trick and blame it on the party of stupid and doing that should be a piece of cake.
Told ya, Middy. There's supposed to be 100 different protests in 100 different American cities this weekend.
Meanwhile, we released a new, positive short film and the media will ignore it.
After all, the government just wants false hope and false change. Not the real stuff.
.."Detroit is a prime example of what happens when a majority of black voters elect black liberals to run the place"..
Detroit is a prime example of what happens when a majority of voters elect liberals to run the place.
..that works both ways..
Who could have known that Charles Barkley would provide one of the most reasonable famous voices in the Zimmerman case?
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/07/18/charles_barkley_on_zimmerman_trial_i_agree_with_the_verdict.html
I guess Bill Cosby has added his reasonable two cents too but that one was not entirely unexpected.
.."The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
central Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
* until 1030 PM MST
* at 955 PM MST... National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess
of 60 mph. This storm was located near Carefree... or 9 miles
northwest of Scottsdale... and moving southwest at 20 mph"..
Sure has been a nice lightning storm this evening, better batten down that hatch before you hit the sack.
..strange monsoon so far.
Cj it has been said.."men go mad in herds but come to their senses one by one"..
this is exactly what happened in the thirties Germany, demagogues demagogue, pure and simple.
A scapegoat, an inflammatory issue along with a bad economy spells trouble and if anyone believes this nonsense about some recovery, well this is the worst recovery on record.
Keep in mind that the full moon is in the batters box so take that for what it's worth-
I'm packing and I suggest every other stand up citizen do the same.
Middy,
"This storm was located near Carefree"
Oh yeah, it was. Back yard is a mess. I'd think about cleaning it up, but I have to get read for the 100-city Trayvon march. Al called me and said having an old Yankee white woman there would bolster their cause.
well...*sigh* another clean up the pool morning it looks like, fish a few items out first, hummingbird feeder, cat box, neighbor's lawn chair.
I was going to the Trayvon rally myself but I remembered this was my annual boxer inventory day.. (always the third Saturday of July unless it falls on an odd day of the month not followed by an even day)
I know It's not the the same as the Canadian Boxer day which causes some confusion, but today's still a tradition as long as I am alive, so it looks like I won't be there either.
It's still early but so far it doesn't look good, I thought by this time in my life all my boxers would have good elastic and holes only for the legs, hasn't happened yet but I can dream.
Tell "Bullhorn" that "Fishbelly" said "Hi"- (he'll know who you are talking about).
It appears that fire near Palm Springs is doing some damage, I used to spend some nice weekends in Idyllwild at various bed and breakfasts sometimes being treated to morning concerts of Mozart at one of the summer music retreats.
.. it's a nice peaceful community, part of Clownafornia that if you tried a bit could imagine things were normal.
This might be a real bad fire season for the west coast yet.
Middy,
Ah, yes, the Packard. I remember their slogan in 1951 when I was 10: "Packard is he one for '51; ask the man who owns one."
There was the Patrician and the Caribbean in addition to the Clipper. Remember "torsion bar" and "load leveler"?
I think it was Don Ameche who did some commercials for them,.
Interesting numbers on Detroit. Like Pete Seeger sang "When will we ever learn."
When I was a kid, we used to drive to Montreal at Christmas from Cincy to visit my mom's relatives.
Many times we crossed back to the states from Windsor, Ontario to Detroit. I remember how nice it seemed in Detroit at the border. The customs guys were all nice and they always had a Red Wings game on the radio.
Sad to see it today. Cincy has had about the same destruction. Beautiful neighborhoods all ruined over time by riots, etc.
I feel sorry for the good, sensible black people of this country who have to go down the tubes with the bad ones.
I love the movies of the 1930's where L. A. is portrayed as a clean air heaven of ocean and orange trees.
Hard to believed it was ever that based on what it is today.
Mike,
So true with Mathews. I hope he didn't include me in his apology. I'm not a racist, I just have certain expectations for proper behavior and dislike anyone black or white who ignores those simple expectations.
Torsion bar suspension was one of the selling points they reeled my old man in with when he bought his only new car of his life, a 57 Dodge Royal..
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/torsionaire.html
.. on that fateful morning when he rode off alone to Dalhart to do a man's business we waited at home with a level of suspension normally reserved for the selection of a Pope.
..we weren't to be exposed to the dirty underbelly of auto negotiations.
When he wheeled that behemoth in the driveway it caused the chickens to stop laying for three days- I was ecstatic, it had fins you could hurt yourself on, an engine better suited to a combine and duel antennas, supposedly to bring in those distant am stations (and probably offered as an upgrade).
My dad was happy to crawl under the car to point out the torsion bars to anyone available..
He was a real character.
.."Chinatown".. best early LA era flick of my time..
Jack was in his prime.
Glo,
I'm only a couple miles east of you and we had a lot of wind, lightning, some rain and that's about it.
Scottsdale doesn't fool around. They passed the anti storm law a few years ago where all the bad stuff get shifted and aimed at Mesa.
Dalhart looks like a nice peaceful little Texas town that would be a nice place to retire until one smells those feed lots.
When I think of the '57 Dodge, I am reminded of those tacked on fins. They looked like an afterthought the way they were just stuck on.
I was more of a DeSoto man. Real fins and "typewriter" drive with the record player in the glove box.
Ditto on "Chinatown". Great film, great actors.
"Good morning, Mrs. Mul-rey"
I still cringe thinking of Nicholson getting his nose cut open.
..cost of doing business and a direct result from getting that nose in the wrong place- water politics..
no whining allowed.
Yeah that is a dvd I wouldn't mind owning, I have the one with Clint yelling "get off my lawn"
great acting even if he is past his expiration date.
.."San Jose State University is suspending a highly touted collaboration with online provider Udacity to offer low-cost, for-credit online courses after finding that more than half of the students failed to pass the classes, officials said Thursday.
Preliminary results from a spring pilot project found student pass rates of 20% to 44% in remedial math, college-level algebra and elementary statistics courses. In a somewhat more promising outcome, 83% of students completed the classes".
Education went to the dark side a while ago, once it became a government subsidized business the end was predictable.
Off to the market for some root beer and ice cream.. going on a two day celebration at min.
note.. get more whisker lickin's as well.

when men were men and women were naturally afraid of us..
I definitely need a gray fedora..
Middy,
I thought the saying was "when men were men and sheep were scared?"
that's Wyoming.
Poor woman falls out of a roller coaster- one second she was there, the next...
http://www.dallasnews.com/news/metro/20130719-breaking-woman-dies-on-six-flags-texas-giant-roller-coaster.ece
It sounds to me like something just didn't get secured- I love Roller coasters but I don't know any more.
I used to ride The Pike in Long Beach and Santa Monica pier coasters.. would ride them for hours..
sad day on this one.
"Cj it has been said.."men go mad in herds but come to their senses one by one".." - Middy
Yep. That's actually true of most herd animals.
What's curious is that I did a Google search for "Zimmerman riots," and only found predictions of riots from five days ago.
Other stories said, What just predictions and NO RIOTS? No Protests? Nothing?
What a difference a keyword makes.
When I Googled "Zimmerman Virdict," I found completely the opposite of information available. Up to the minute coverage of the protests and the parents of the poor deceased boy marching against the racism that they are feeding.
Hey, but now if you Google "Edgel Groves," there is now an "Angels in Disguise" video with the pages and pages of "Footprints in the Sand" that is now interrupted.
Found this on Facebook.
In the year 2013, the Lord came unto Noah, Who was now living in America and said:
"Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see the end of all flesh before me."
"Build another Ark and save 2 of every living thing along with a few good humans."
He gave Noah the blueprints, saying:
"You have 6 months to build the Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights."
Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard - but no Ark."Noah!," He roared, "I'm about to start the rain! Where is the Ark?"
"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed."
"I needed a Building Permit."
"I've been arguing with the Boat Inspector about the need for a sprinkler system."
"My homeowners association claim that I've violated the
Neighborhood by-laws by building the Ark in my back yard and exceeding the height limitations. We had to go to the local Planning Committee for a decision."
"Then the City Council and the Electricity Company demanded a shed load of money for the future costs of moving power lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the passage for the Ark's move to the sea. I told them that the sea would be coming to us, but they would hear none of it."
"Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban on cutting local trees in order to save the Greater Spotted Barn Owl."
"I tried to convince the environmentalists that I needed the wood to save the owls - but no go!"
"When I started gathering the animals, PETA took me to court. They insisted that I was confining wild animals against their will. They argued the accommodations were too restrictive and it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals in a confined space."
"Then the Environmental Protection Agency ruled that I couldn't build the Ark until they'd conducted an environmental impact study on Your proposed flood."
"I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm supposed to hire for my building crew."
"The Immigration Dept. Is checking the visa status of most of the people who want to work."
"The labor unions say I can't use my sons. They insist I have to hire only union workers with ark-building experience."
"To make matters worse, the IRS seized all my assets, claiming I'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species."
"So, forgive me, Lord, but it would take at least 10 years for me to finish this ark."
"Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine and a rainbow stretched across the sky."
Noah looked up in wonder and asked, "You mean you're not going to destroy the world?"
"No," said the Lord. " The Government beat me to it."
Great little thunderboomer rolled through just now, looks like more coming- finally some rain, had to be a quarter of an inch here.
Nice lightning too- the sky was purple at sunset looking toward the east, first time I have noticed one that purple.
..as long as the clouds don't turn green/purple..
The storm pretty much missed us again. It must have seen the "No storms allowed, go to Mesa" sign and just dropped a little rain.
Looks like another sticky day... well last night was refreshing, and it settled the dust.
Watched the storm pull in while enjoying a nice root beer float- A&W over Blue Bunny vanilla served in a genuine A&W mug.. is this a great country or what?
- Free again, the celebration continues.
We grow our own food in the garden and we can make videos with internationally known music artists. Yeah, this is definitely a great country, Middy!
I told Edgel that we can make another video for Angels in Disguise and this one resembling an actual music video. I know ... I'm in over my head. Been that way since the early 80's.
Storms can read, Jimmy. They pretty much go up from Texas following the interstate to I-40 and either go straight or turn right on I-44.
.." I'm in over my head. Been that way since the early 80's"..
Go away!!- you have got to be kidding, over your head?
not on my watch..
I want your enterprise to become wildly successful and that means profitable.
It seems to be the only way people learn some very valuable lessons which are going to be essential if this Republic wants to remain sovereign and free.
You need to re assess, regain that vision and storm the gates of hell if that is what it takes.
First thing you gotta do is shake off that self defeating mind set of self limitations you have somehow acquired if you ever want to taste anything better of life but imitation ice milk and day old bakery.
An old gunny once told us that personally he didn't want that hill, he just wanted us to take that hill.
..(sounded like a cop out to me), so I say as Red Green says.. "we're all in this together guys" and I'm pulling for ya..
I remember one good man of God saying before getting locked up for fraud "if you want a Cadillac, then you have to get the feel of a Cadillac".
..can't recall his name..
But rest easy Rick, you and your business venture has reached the front row pew of my prayer closet.
On that news alone, first thing Monday morning I would go to the bank that handles your finances and request a larger line of credit based on good faith, (they will know what you mean) - sweeten the deal and allay any fears for them.. tell them I'm from Oklahoma.
Remember, "if you want a Cadillac"...
Middy, your comment took me aback for a little bit. Took a few Aspergers Syndrome tests, read some news and finally figured out that you're not actually sincere.
Middy once admitted to screwing with me. I suspect that he's doing it again. Middy has a clear pattern of behavior.
Many people have difficulty accepting concepts they might not be familiar with.
It helps if you can somehow visualize concepts in a more familiar setting, motivational speakers trick themselves using techniques such as imagining the audience in their underwear.
Maybe you could conjure up a mental image of me offering this advice while wearing a coonskin cap and buckskins or something more habitual to your lifestyle, a mental sleight designed to putting someone like you from the Midwest mountain regions at ease.
Whatever works... just don't let your natural, inbred suspicions over my honorable intent bind you forever to the mundane.
Speaking of irony, I guess I thought encouraging you to allow your imagination run free would be second nature and a lot easier than this.
Middy is quoting Raheem DeVaughn?
"She said if you want to ride in my Cadillac / You gotta know how to act ..."
"regain that vision ... shake off that self defeating mind set of self limitations you have somehow acquired ... and day old bakery."
There is no line of credit, Middy. There is only my expertise and borrowing from Peter to pay Paul and keep the lights on until some impossible miracle happens.
I create things, Middy. I don't know anything about how to manage myself. Dora did that and she's dead. Half the time, I don't know what people mean, because I read between the lines too much. Aspergers dude.
That's why Lana goes to do the interviews. That's why I picked her. She's the face. She's a hunter, kayaker, believes in the Second Amendment, daughter of a preacher and cusses like a sailor. She is the Everyperson.
Inbred suspicions ... ha ha. Funny. Point taken, though.
Thanks for the encouragement, so I must be doing something right. Your way of teaching me.
So how is a studio that only creates videos with other people's music and doesn't distribute it, but instead it is done through the artist, supposed to make money?
Hardcopies are going by the wayside. Once a song is sold, it can be chopped up and used by the purchaser for a ringtone on smartphones, so Google ads are it. There is the possible advertising short film and corporations are hiring studios like ours to make those long winded advertisements with a story.
We just gotta keep making films to prove that we can do the work and meet deadlines.
Rumor is that I got arrested last night, Lana said. Apparently the studio is a front for a strip bar. So we must be doing something right if we keep making enemies.
You see, people want to talk to SN and Edgel. When I won't let them, they make up stuff to run me down. Call me a phony.
On the opposite spectrum, I hear that I work with SN. I don't recollect that and I have denied it. Unless she said it and I can't find any quotes to that effect.
I just thought I'd toss in the latest rumor. It's kind of funny.
Science marches on, just recently we have discovered a new element for the periodic table.
http://armstrongeconomics.com/2013/07/21/the-discovery-of-a-new-element/
.."I create things, Middy. I don't know anything about how to manage myself. Dora did that and she's dead. Half the time, I don't know what people mean, because I read between the lines too much. Aspergers dude"..
It's obvious you are just going to have to channel that natural creativity in another direction.
Manage myself?- that God given talent you have in creativity is the gift, hell the managing part of life is so easy it's normally done by ex baseball players- after all, what's so hard about filling in a batting line up and talking to wild pitchers about not slitting their wrists in the showers while their replacement warms up?
Luckily you have the pole position speak in the fifty year marathon that is called Rick- so lace up your PF Flyers big boy, victory is yours for the taking.
just don't forget to thank all the little people out here constantly cheering your inspiration.
So what do you think Jim?, maybe I should offer to help clean up Paula's image and get her political ambitions back on track.
Middy, a little late to try and clean up Paula's image and her political career is over. Actually her political career never started.
Ya gotta admit that I can dress up a pig as good as anyone.
..just gotta get my mind in the right perspective to pull it off..
sultry.. word of the day again.
This morning was monsoon heaven on the west side- I love this weather.
..BUCHANAN TO OBAMA
By Patrick J. Buchanan
.."Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America .. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.... This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.. Jeremiah Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the '60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude??
Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona ? And Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids...? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago".
..got that right!
.."Maybe they should try rebuilding America with American labor. Give them something to do"..
That sounds like something Mitt Romney might say.
well, we had our chance and blew it- we chose to do it this way.
From the pages of the Hope and Change manual.
.."We refused to throw in the towel and do nothing. We refused to let Detroit go bankrupt.
We bet on American workers and American ingenuity, and three years later, that bet is paying off in a big way.” Obama weekly address 10/13/12"..
..and the fools erupted in cheers of "fo-ah moah yeeers!!- fo-ah moah yeeers!
They erupted in "four more years," because there is talk of repealing the Presidential term limits.
You KNOW what that means.
George W. Bush hinted at America's future in 2000 to CNN, when he said that it would be easier to govern if President meant a dictatorship.
In July 2008, before the economic collapse, the G20 published a report that said, Candidate Obama would lead the world into a new era of peace with global governance.
I'm in between films at the moment. Trying to get WMG to give me permission to use two of SN songs in a feature film. There are others of course. I want to use her music more than others.
No that speech was delivered before the election..
.."it would be easier to govern if President meant a dictatorship"..
Yeah when it comes to governing a dictatorship is just about as efficient method ever devised.. of course that was the very aspect of government we revolted from after two hundred years of colonialism.
..to be fair his old man was a lifetime member of the CIA even tho he only officially served for a year one doesn't get nominated and confirmed by the US Senate as an outsider- it just doesn't happen.
This oughta blow the liberal media's collective mind:
http://tampa.cbslocal.com/2013/07/22/zimmerman-helps-save-family-of-four-from-overturned-vehicle/
IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Darn it! I was hoping for a future queen!
PV: I saw the article and thought, "Are we going to see an article tomorrow that shoults 'Zimmerman Take a Dump in Publica Restroom?'"
Slow news day, media dorks??? Jeez ...
I read somewhere that Spiderman wears Zimmerman undies!
From the official nanny state department of public idiocy we get this statement..
.."Saugus Police advised members of the public to take care when disposing of potentially suspicious items. “The practice of discarding or disposing of items such as pressure cookers in trash receptacles clearly visible to the public is irresponsible,” police said"..
...Really?... If this was actually just a discarded pressure cooker or meant as a joke tossed by some clueless Mass. resident then what good is a first grade worthy lecture?
If it was a dry run to test official response then what good is a first grade worthy lecture?
It's as tho we just have a lot of official trite and meaningless first grade responses in the quiver and Big Brother somehow feels compelled to use them.
..click it or ticket- loose lips sinks ships, eat your broccoli- kiss my ass..
Sir Dumpy Pants was born. He'll have his actual royal title later.
Thanks for the training, mentorship, multiple lashings and reprogramming. I am working with wealthy music stars.
They're actually treating me like one of them.
We were talking about the problem of songs and how little they pay, so I came up with a solution and wrote to ProTools to see if they can do a change in the programming.
If they can, the song would be downloaded to only one phone and not reshared to other devices. Should make music artists a lot more money.
.."Retailers will net almost $6 million every day over the next few weeks on sales of royal paraphernalia.
A staggering $94.6 million alone will be spent on alcohol. Any excuse for a goodbooze-up.
Predictions show that there will be a surge in sales of champagne that will mean that an extra 3 million bottles of bubbly will be cracked open in the days following the announcement of the birth.
Food will account for $38 million to celebrate in British street-party-and-barbeque style.
$85 million will be spent on souvenirs.
Toys will see a hike in sales to the value of $35 million.
Books will bring in sales amounting to $60 million.
The Centre for Retail Research stated that "It is no great surprise that this type of feel good event provides retailers with a welcome boost, with consumer hype generating additional spending".
But, it also went on to admit that the majority of those sales will be down to increased advertising that is taking place at the present time in the build-up to the birth of the baby and that has a cost"..
Too bad it wasn't twins eh?- then we could watch the Royal bastards fight it out as to who gets what the next forty years.
Neither Gloria, these are examples of many helpful reminders we get daily from our nanny state to help us negotiate through the daily pitfalls of life.
Make sure you take advantage of free money provided by the Unearned income tax allowance..
Make sure you get all the government bennies you are entitled to..
(people really need wall to wall commercials on Barry Young's show to tell them to file their taxes and claim deductions?)
..remember it's your tax money they are wasting on worthless ad campaigns ..
With government enablers it's always do as I say not as I do..

An hour of great classical guitar performed in a nearly empty church in Brazil by João Luiz e Douglas Lora.I have no idea how you pronounce that one.
..one thing for certain tho they are certainly great artists.
It's a weird Monday.
Talked to a music producer today on the phone ... twice. He had to take a call from L.A. and had to call me back. Three more songs that we get to make videos for. Yeah. Weird.
Then Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler called and I missed that, but she'll call back tomorrow.
Yep, hurt the back again. It's the magic.
I've got other kayaking videos to get out, but I'm waiting on the remix of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils for that. Good stuff.
Edgel said today on the phone that sometimes when God wants something done, it takes on a life of its own. Yeah, Amen to that.
I'm stoked. It's been a good day.
Edgel's happy with the results. We get to do more songs. Getting songs from other artists. A congresswoman ...
But no fries.
Might have to do a film in Scottsdale about bloggers.
Sorry for all the techno stuffs, I figure Glo will be the only one to "get-it", she can tutor Mid, Jim, Mike....I pray God may help out splainin tech stuffs to CJ and Ricky...
Here goes:
New Element Added to Periodic Table:
- The Heaviest Element Yet Known to Science: (Gv)
********************************
Lawrence Livermore Laboratories has discovered the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element, Governmentium (Gv), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.
These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons..
Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2- 6 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.
In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of morons promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical Morass.
When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.
Wow P.V.! You're pretty good at that chemistry stuff, P.V. and C.J. will just say that it's me. I never could understand the Periodic Table. I know when to go fishing without those charts!
Jimmy likes chemistry. So does Middy. They were just telling me the other day how they found it fascinating how the atomic structure of complete BS could be changed, with just a comma.
And I thought the Periodic table was something about feminine hygiene.
Rick now that you are starting to move up the ladder maybe we should have a little talk about your corporate image, and possibly about how you present yourself to investors and clients.
ditch the bib overalls, no more welder hats unless you are really a welder and get rid of that pouch of Red Man.
You can tell a wad in cheek twenty feet out, in today's polite society spittoons are few and far between, this isn't a duck blind.
..and no matter how slick you think you are being someone is going to notice what you did to the potted plant eventually.
Break a leg, so to speak.
No, feminine hygiene has to do with the Solunar Tables. The moon's position directly relates to a woman's cycle and that's how a man knows to go fishing.
I've given thought to photographers jumping out of the bushes when I'm peeing in them. So I am concerned about my corporate image.
I read in the Times that the Pentagon provided Congress with their military options for Syria.
Told ya. It's the new Cold War. Syria's got to fall and that's just the way it is, folks. Just say, "ours is not to wonder why," ours is simply to spend and try.
Well, tell me what you think, Jimmy.
http://rdkepple.blogspot.com/
Well, I wrote about ya, Jimmy. Took me hours to write that little bit of stuff.
I've been reading about the entire blogging thing. How to make maximum profits depending on the blog topic and content combined with human behavior, statistical analysis and so on.

Uh-huh!
Good morning! No pills. Toughing the pain out ... all I did was cough ... once ... and threw my back out! It would have happened if I lived in a nice warm state like Arizona too.
My theory of how to make someone rich and famous is valid. Unfortunately, I don't have the budget of the giant labels that repeatedly bombard the public with ads telling consumers how we need to buy a particular product.
President George W. Bush didn't like broccoli, right? So broccoli sales slumped.
It's the same with President Obama and the Zimmerman thing. It's perception and that people are programmed in our society to believe what they are told to believe.
Certainly, an individual starts with an audience, but when big money gets involved, the audience grows because of the advertising.
That's why elections can't be won without a big budget.
If Jesus Christ came back right now, his publicist would have some difficulty with the entire cross thing, resurrection and simple belief. It's a hard sell. And the business of religion won't get behind the remix of the Scripture.
Anyway, the Chosen One is in the White House, so we have nothing to worry about. He has given free cell phones to the masses of the poor! Is that not a miracle? And they don't need scaled or gutted like fish.
Mike,
You're right. Anything by Sharpton or Jackson is fine with them. It's too bad they have no one better but if that person was available, they probably wouldn't want him if he made sense.
It's a case of lambs to the slaughter for the uninformed dumb ass masses.
I am woman hear me roar.
Good one Glo; a Helen Reddy reference. She was before her time.
Middy,
I played 9 holes on Monday. That's good for me with the humidity and heat. I could barely drive the one block home. I was glad to see my "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" when I got there though.
I'll best Glo knows who sang that!
The world waits to see if the weiner "pulls-out"
If not, someone (city of NYC) is going to get pregnant!
Rick,
I like the photo on your blog; especially the guitar is the doorway.
It's been four years between posts; you may want to be a bit more frequent on that and I would suggest using more paragraphs to separate your thoughts.
You are using an old Blogger format. It's the same one I used to use in '05. Go to your Blogger dashboard and pick out a new one. It will really help the "look" of the blog. They have some nice choices.
Send the URL of the blog to your friends when you post something new. It will get you some circulation.
And I thought the Periodic table was something about feminine hygiene.
I did too!
Middy,
Do you want me to eat my broccoli before or after I smooch your butt?
Hmmmmm......Have I been missing something here?
Middy,
I'm with Mike. Paula never had a career in politics. Even the phonies can see she is a phony and will jump on any bandwagon that will take her.
I'm embarrassed to say that I have ever know her. I respect Quisling more!
Middy,
Buchanan nails it pretty good.
.."by days I make the cars, but at night I make the bars, if only they could read between the lines"..
I kept thinking that was Bobby Bare, had to look it up- and by golly I was right.
I can hear the reverb and tremolo in that classic Long cool woman as we type.
I'm thinking "Down at the Bayou"- but I am also thinking Red Dress..
It will come to me- or as Manuel says..
"eventually mr.Fawlty, eventually".
Glo,
It amazes me that we get so pumped over the new prince. The USA still salivates over anything that is involved with British royalty even though they have no power.
However, I think it is a good thing; a bit of throwback and a diversion from all the nonsense in this country with Obama and his revenue sucking followers.
At least the Brits have class; something Obama and his wife couldn't even spell.
Yeah, That was a great hit for Bobby Bare.
Good songs then; remember billy Joe Royal and "Down in the Boondocks"? I remember it well in the mid 60s on "Yours truly WHB" in Kansas City.
..speaking of Red Dress, here is a smokin' version by Robert Plant off the Dreamland album.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3l4ZDFY0zLc
features country gospel great Buddy Miller on lead guitar.
.. " the bears and the birds on Wolverton Mountain".. or "Kisses sweeter than Wine"..
yeah, that was a different time.
..it got a whole lot better, and is getting better still.
Creative new music has never seen a quantum leap era like this one yet it will probably implode due to (you guessed it) technology, eg..file sharing.
Wow! Jimmy Rogers. You really know your tunes. He was huge in '57, suffered brain damage in a fight later on. I think he is still alive though.
"Honeycomb" "Tucumcari"
Blazing Saddles politically incorrect?.. how about the rat race?

haha..
Middy...THAT'S HILARIOUS!
"I like the photo on your blog; especially the guitar is the doorway."
Four years? Wow! Another format? I'm still learning how to use Blogger. I wrote the blogs blocked with space between the paragraphs and it didn't come out that way. I'll figure it out eventually, I guess.
Working on a WIX page for LJM. We were on hold for a while, waiting on the Barn to Studio video to be done ... and it is.
Jimmy, we can't afford a $700professional software upgrade, but the company has a Creative Cloud version for about fifty bucks a month. No strings. Reputable company. They guarantee training, it does video and music and a ton of special effects! But it's Internet based ... as is all new software.
Anyone use the Cloud thing?

For everyone who actually believes crimes can be solved within an hour time slot including commercials with no errors.
Actually, I think they are just softening us up to accept a national DNA registry with this type of story- it's part of the "shelter in place" mindset in the "war on whatever" we are supposed to embrace I guess.
..so soon they will take dna whenever they get the chance, reason or no.
Actually, Jim, it's Jimmy Rodgers with a 'D.' Without a 'D' it's my nephew.
He (singer Jimmy not nephew Jimmy) had a lovely song mostly forgotten from 1967: Child of Clay.
Correction: Jimmie Rodgers ('ie' not 'y')
Here's Child of Clay:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osbvV0K8XH8
I remember that song, it's lyrics carry an important message to parents (current and perspective)
Glo,
Thanks for the correction. It definitely is "ie" and "d".
I haven't thought of the guy in years and am rusty.
I remember him getting some kind of altercation with someone on the highway and suffered a head injury which screwed him up pretty bad.
His hits like "Honeycomb" bring back a lot of memories of summer in the 50's.
Middy,
When you said "rat race" I thought you measnt the `1959 film with Tony Curtis, Debbie Reynolds, and Don Rickles.
Here's a case of "Stand Your Ground" black woman pulls a rifle to defend herself from a knife wielding attacker...even after she tells him to back off, he continues after her:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DH8gkcvOQ8
Can't wait for the professional race baiters, Obama, Jackson, Sharpton and Holder to weigh in on this one.....?
She almost made a fatal mistake and that is to let that piece of shit get too close, right up in the red zone,
he could have killed her with that shank..
..first lesson of the street is to realize there are no rules.
Someone needs to buy that lady a .357- rifles are too clumsy to carry but I suppose the bedwetters will say she killed an innocent man just to further the ongoing second amendment attack.
..there will be a civil war.

..Ignore the shoddy route engineering which created this nightmare as it does with all other public projects, just rest assured America the high speed train network would never be a target for sabotage.. never.
Middy,
I think we need to band together and start an organization that reflects White Pride:
N ational
A ssociation for the
A dvancement of
H onkies
In order to get in you have to enter a convenience store, politely greet the manager, pick up some Snapple & Snickers, and pay for them with money you've earned by wokring a legititmate job.
really Glo, "wokring"?
..have another cup- it's early.
Middy,
Another flash mob, huh? It's always comforting to see that those clowns are trying so hard to join most of the rest of the human race and act like they have a brain.
Unfortunately, they lack both the membership in the human race and have no possession of a brain.
I never thought I would see the day when I would carry a loaded .38 with me everywhere I go but that day has long past. I even bought fresh rounds a few months ago to be sure my ammo was live.
If someone charges my my car at a light or anywhere else, he better start saying his prayers.
Proud,
I love it that she shot that SOB. The one witness says all he had was a knife and an umbrella as if that excuses him.
That's laughable, I sure hope she gets off. She's lucky she is not white, she would get life with Obama's blessing. As it is, Al or Jesse will probably just send a flunky down instead of their usual TV exposure visit.
One suggestion for her. She may want to get a handgun and keep it in her car for the next guy. A lot more convenient than having to open one's trunk for a rifle.
Middy,
Where was that train wreck? I saw that photo online somewhere. Looks foreign.
Spain.. as tho they don't already have enough problems with a full blown Depression.
.."Public attitudes about race relations have plummeted since the historic election of President Barack Obama, according to a new poll from NBC News and the Wall Street Journal.
Only 52 percent of whites and 38 percent of blacks have a favorable opinion of race relations in the country, according to the poll, which has tracked race relations since 1994 and was conducted in mid-July by Hart Research Associations and Public Opinion Strategies.
That’s a sharp drop from the beginning of Obama’s first term, when 79 percent of whites and 63 percent of blacks held a favorable view of American race relations".

Pee Vee,
Drudge has been having a field day with Weiner.
Besides your "soft" comment the other day they said something about losing the "erection."
If it was anyone but Weiner I may not be so "hard" on them but I'm having a "ball" over his stupidity.
His former constituency was heavily Jewish and very Democrat but a Republican was able to "penetrate" their resistance and win easily.
After this latest episode I think his career has "come" to a "climax." It's just too much coming to a "head" at once for him to ever win anything again; and that includes dogcatcher.
Arrest him then send him either to a mental institution for the criminally insane or sentence him to four years in the mayor's office of New York, they are indistinguishable at this point.

Jim, time to ditch the .38 and get something with more fire power like a .380 or a 9MM.
My .380 has 6 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber and my 9MM has 15 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. It pays to be careful.
Proud,
That's funny about Illinois. It';s even funnier that it is NObama's home state.
Mike,
Do they make those light enough and small enough to fit in your pocket?
My .38 was made in about 1930 and is really heavy. I always keep it in the glove box when we go out.
"Jim, time to ditch the .38 and get something with more fire power like a .380 or a 9MM." - Mike
The .38 Special was developed as a smokeless cartridge for the converted .36 caliber blackpowder firearms way back in the day. That's why .36 caliber smokeless doesn't exist.
The 9mm story is a neat one involving a real breakthrough in military weaponry. The other breakthrough was the assault weapon that ended trench warfare.
BTW, the .380 is a 9mm Short.
I looked all of this up. The .38 Special is a more powerful cartridge.
The 9mm and .380 has greater firepower, but remember that on the battlefield, the point is to wound and make two soldiers carry one soldier off the battlefield, whereas the .38 Special was made to kill.
Well, Wishbone Ash said no, SN people at WMG haven't said anything about using her songs and Randall Chowning, founder of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils agreed to let me use his songs from the new CD, RC and the Keys.
So it sounds like it's a good thing that I don't live in the city.
Watch the news, watch the community, pay attention and remember that when violence happens, it will be quick and in your face.
