CRUISIN' AND PERUSIN' THE NEWS

Welcome to America:  I just read about a local guy who said that he recently applied for employment at a large home improvement chain.  I assume it has to be Lowe’s or Home Depot.

The guy has 25 years experience in the construction business and has dealt with the public the entire time.  Needless to say, he probably got the job, right?  Wrong, Kemo Sabe.

During the interview, he was asked if he was bi-lingual since the store was looking for someone to deal with foreign speaking customers.  Being an American, his answer was “No”.  He didn’t get the job or two others at similar companies.

What is the mystique that foreign countries seem to have over us these days?  It used to be that those who came here had to learn OUR language, not the other way around.  No wonder Rosetta  Stone runs so many TV commercials!

I’ve always like Senator Rob Portman of Ohio as a good conservative Republican.  However, with his 21 year old son’s recent admission that he is gay, Portman has suddenly gone into reverse and now supports gays.

It’s a head scratcher for sure but I have to agree with the following opinion from the “Daily Caller”:

But if the sole reason for Portman’s switch is that he discovered he has a gay son, well that makes me wonder how deeply he thought through the issue to begin with, because, honestly, it shouldn’t matter.  He could love his son and still oppose gay marriage. Or he could be childless and still support it. His familial circumstances ought to be irrelevant. Has he not heard of thought exercises like the “veil of ignorance” or the “moral spectator”? Progressives aren’t the only ones who should be skeptical of Portman’s reversal. This makes me wonder about his commitment to other issues. What if another family member had an unplanned pregnancy? Would he then change his position on abortion and the right to life?

The latest Real Clear Politics poll shows that Obama’s approval rating is now only +0.6 above his disapproval rating.  A couple months ago he was at +10.1; that’s quite a drop to be sure. This means it’s about 50-50.  I can’t say he hasn’t earned it.

Jennifer Capriati is in trouble again
Most of us remember the much heralded teen tennis star from the 90s, Jennifer Capriati.  She was winning matches against highly ranked players at age 13 and seemed destined for immortality in tennis.  Unfortunately, she took a wrong turn along the way and has gotten in a few scrapes involving drugs plus other problems.

I remember when she was at her peak and even then she seemed to have an attitude unlike the bubbly and popular 1990s teen player Monica Seles.   Capriati had a drug bust a couple years later along with shoplifting charges and recently at age 36 is in more trouble on stalking and battery charges against her ex-boyfriend.

I guess The Beatles were right:  Money can’t buy you love.

Honors Night cancelled.  More liberal nonsense from a high school principal in Massachusetts who called off an Honors Night saying it could be “devastating to the students who worked hard, but fell short of the grades.”

What a clueless jerk!  I have news for him:  Some kids are smarter or work harder than others and they deserve the recognition for their efforts.  He is applying the typical liberal mentality that everyone is equal and it’s important that no one’s feelings are hurt.  I feel sorry for his students when they arrive in the real world where having your poor feelings hurt can be a daily experience.

First time in my life I have ever heard of Jennifer Capriati- sounds like another Lohen sighting..

She's just another celebrity that never bothered to grow up I suppose. common/sad.

Jim McAllister said...

I watched her play many times in the 90s. Her parents were split and her father really pushed her which may have something to do with her rebellious attitude throughout her career.

She never seemed happy as a kid; too much too soon perhaps. She kept getting into trouble with stuff like weed then was caught on the shoplifting charge.

Now, at 36 when one would think some maturity would have set in, she is stalking her ex-boyfriend and punching him in public.

I hope for her sake she can straighten out before she winds up like a lot of child stars.

She certainly doesn't appear to want help and has to be a leading candidate for the Lohan Loser of the Year award.

Crazy stuff in the "celebrity" world.

Don't say the word "crazy" too loudly.. quiet so far.

Just another example of a "special" kid receiving "special" attention and given "special" passes for being "special".

There are too many to name, and it has become a particular (and increasing)problem from the '50s when education and personal responsibility became the hated traits/demands of the adults (THE MAN)who buckled under the pressure both within and without, under the excuses of compassion and "they'll grow out of it."
Now, those same kids are the teachers and leaders, and not only have the causations increased in both numbers and affects, but the entire population has become increasingly less educated and more angry at their condition, still unwilling to take personal responsibility for their condition.

midnightsstaff said...

Sam is right, and of course nothing will ever be fixed with the approach we have been using.

Portman = Politican..

.. so what is the question? are you even surprised when these jackasses have to start explaining their confused philosophy on life?
"vote for me" is the only philosophical bedrock their lives are based on and it shows.

You think this flip-flop is bad, wait until the shooting starts.
You ought to be concerned with your idiot politicians like that moron Kavenaugh who's in your district Jim.

..effin' wingdings every one of them.

Pevie Hicks said...

You had to mention "crazy" ?

Reminds me of sumpin Bodo said at our last meeting to revolutionize the music business.

I forget what he said, but it reminds me just the same. Did I mention it's cloudy today? Saw a couple that resembled angelic celebrities.

Hi Jim,

OK, let’s see. Don’t even get me frickin’ started on that bilingual crap. I absolutely go BALLISTIC when I call a phone number for services or purchases or the like and get ‘Press 1 for English.” I actually scream into the phone: YES I WANT EFFEN ENGLISH THIS IS AMERICA YOU MORON!!! And then they speak Spanish. No lie, it sets me off every single time. And then of course you have food and other labels in English and Spanish. I still have my Russian grandmother’s night school English book from the 20s. She raised a family, worked as a maid for a pittance, and then went to night school to learn to speak ENGLISH, the tongue of the country she chose to emigrate to. Grrrrrrr…….

OK, Portman. I was disgusted that he changed his position because HIS SON was gay. I guess ‘those people’ do deserve equal rights, especially if they are a ‘family member.’ What a hypocrite!! I totally support gay rights in every way, but not ‘more’ rights, and my beliefs certainly extend to all members of that group even though no one I know of in my family is gay.

Capriati? There’s a name from the past! I always sob tears about these poor athletes who fall from grace… And nothing disgusts me more than when women stomp on their self-respect because of a guy. Just don’t get it. It’s bad, too, for a guy, but, hey – aren’t you of that tender gender kinda guided by the old Johnson naturally? Kidding!!! Mostly ….

Some good job news. My contract for this assignment at ‘that company’ was ending at the end of March, but another director I had worked with on some projects in the last few months found out, and snapped me up for Project Manager position. Still a contractor, but who cares? Nice to have what may be a long-term position, and working with a great team.

Way to go Gloria.. props on your refusing to let bad economic conditions define your personality..

..too bad many just give up and play the victim game, there is an old saying, "ninety percent of the fish are caught by ten percent of the fishermen" and it applies to everything in life, including maintaining employment in a down economy as you have proved.

I just shake my head when some domestically produced loser tells me they applied on line..

..and are still waiting- and waiting..

BTW my daughter has the same attitude, she has reinvented her career and will do it again if necessary- my other kids have also been employed since leaving home..
I guess I did teach them something after all.

I couldn't help but post this from the morning paper:

JERUSALEM — Insisting “peace is possible,” President Barack Obama on Thursday prodded both Israelis and Palestinians to return to longstalled negotiations with few, if any, preconditions, softening his earlier demands that Israel stop building settlements in disputed territory.

The president made his appeal just hours after rockets fired from Hamas-controlled Gaza landed in a southern Israeli border town, offering a fresh reminder of the severe security risks and tensions that have stymied peace efforts for decades.

Obama, on his second day in the Middle East, shuttled between Jerusalem and Ramallah, reaching out to the public as well as political leaders.

He offered no new policies or plans for reopening peace talks but urged both sides to “think anew” about the intractable conflict and break out of the “formulas and habits that have blocked progress for so long.”

“Peace is possible,” Obama declared during an impassioned speech to young people in Jerusalem. “I’m not saying it’s guaranteed. I can’t even say that it is more likely than not. But it is possible.”

That, ladies and gents, is the President of the United States. Have you ever heard such an indecisive statement. We spend millions to fly this guy around the world and that is all he has to say. What a wimp!

Jim McAllister said...

Paris Hilton's contribution to the world was when she once said "That's hot!"

I think she copyrighted it although who cares? Her day is past; just another "poor little rich girl" like Gloria Vanderbilt was once called.

Jim McAllister said...

Good points, Sam.

I think Jenn was born with an attitude. Even at her peak, she seemed a bit pre-occupied and not appreciative of what she had.

The broken home certainly didn't help. I always thought her dad was taking advantage of her and not really having her best interests in mind.

Now, she is 36, tennis is over, the younger crowd says "Who?" when they hear her name and I don't know if she has any dough left or not.

She has no husband, no career, and no prospects it appears. Now, she has to go to court on the battery charges.

Jim McAllister said...

Middy,

You finally have me convinced about politicians. I thought Portman was a pretty sharp guy but he is just another loser.

We should throw all the bums out and have some anarchy for a while. How do we know we wouldn't like it since we've never tried it? LOL

Did you see where the cops are bartering with each other for ammo. None is available since Nappy bought it all. Uh-oh!

Jim McAllister said...

Middy,

I was feeling a bit down today until I watched that clip from Texas.

I love it when that happens and a homeowner protects his property. It's great when he kills the robbers too. Case closed!

Don't let Obama and his kind know though, he'll bring charges against the homeowner.

midnightsstaff said...

He's not clever, he's not bright- he is just irritating, annoying and driving every normal thinking person away from the site.

Ignoring him doesn't seem to work, we have all tried it at one time or the other.

..evidently he isn't bright enough to get it when it's a joke or has the ability to understand what normal people talk or think about- that alone just screams major mental disorder to anyone familiar with dealing with them.

He's a stalker- there has been plenty of evidence to support that claim and who knows how dangerous he really is?

After all keep in mind no one even knew the name Adam Lanza before he acted out his inner fantasies- now all of America does, that was his mission- fame.

.. someone prove me wrong..

Jim McAllister said...

Glo,

Let's face it: JOHNSONS RULE! LOL!

Yeah, the bi-lingual thing is a joke. I think of when the Ellis Islanders came her and how they wanted to learn English so badly. Now, we are supposed to be the ones that learn other languages.

We have schools here that have total immersion of grade school kids into Spanish. That's a bunch of bull---t.

I'm with you on gays. Let them do their thing. It's not for me but I think they are sincere; if they want same sex activity who am I to care as long as I don't have to be involved.

I just think that Portman handled it badly.

That great news about the job! You're reinforcing what I have always said about you: You never let any grass grow under your feet. You have been through all this crappola with jobs and you always come up with something positive in the end. I admire that and am happy for you.

Project manager, huh? Sounds pretty important. Good luck!

Glo, Call Me Gumby said...

Jim, Yes, we Project Managers are 'the bomb.' What was most wonderful was when my new director told me repeatedly how THRILLED she was that she got me. Man, total appreciation! I've been getting that since I started on the business side of that system in October. It motivates me to no end.

What's also intesting about this situation is that years ago she and I were best buds, then had a falling out and hadn't spoken for years until last November. All water under the bridge, and both of us are truly happy to be working together. Life changes people.

Middy: Thanks for the kind comments. I hate people who are professional victims. LIFE IS NOT FAIR - get over it! Deal with it! And realize that the world does not revolve around you. Once you figure that out, move on. It won't be asy, but anything worthwhile never is.

Hey Rick - don't know if you know or care, but SN will be on Oprah's Next Chapter Sunday. Keep seeing the bloody commercials. I'd rather throw up than watch Oprah, so I won't be seeing it.

It's that limitless reservoir and that alone which keeps you going in times like this isn't it Rick?

Maybe you need a dog or a wife to kick around, but women normally don't like to be kicked around and leave, is that what really happened?

The problem with habitual liars is they never can remember what lie they told to whom.

I suppose public records would have a listing of divorces, arrests and deaths in the county but what would be the point?

..The approaching full moon- now a day closer, combined with the harmonic pulsations Earth Day awareness creates within an excited Pagan society on this holiest of holy day's probably means we can expect the chatter level to increase- especially from Missouri.

In other words, perpetual victims never have a nice day.

That's funny about the Easter bunny. The good news is that the libs can do all that stupidity they want and demonize Christmas and whatever else their tiny minds enjoy and most people will tell them to shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

This is all coming from the top at the White House where those phonies now reside. The good news is that when these four years are up (assuming someone doesn't take him out first)I think we will have a conservative backlash that returns us to normal.

Things can't continue as they are now for much longer.

James, Mike, Blue, Middy, CJ, proved to me that rich people simply are not worth helping. How times have changed since Reagan's time! Stevie Nicks has changed, but you people still act like she did.

Lay off the cocaine, Mike, Middy. And protecting James will impress people today, but tomorrow you can tell your cellmates how much fun you had.

I'll occasionally help Stevie, but I won't help any of you. I'd help Obama before I'd help you people after the words that you wrote about me.

Yeah, go start another blog, James. Write about more stuff so that the rich can pretend that people don't hate their guts.

Unknown said...

How does Middy know that I used to have a stuttering problem when I was a kid? How does Middy know so much about me? Unless Middy is actually a rich celebrity brother and protected by James.

The truth always comes out, Middy. The more I badger you people, the more SN will talk to try and explain her behavior years ago. Her publicist would never allow her to admit liability and likely her entire rant on Sunday will only be about other people in the entertainment industry.

Stevie Nicks is NOT a risk taker. She hires flunkies to attack me. She hires my friends if she can. Stevie has a record for deceit. She hides behind fake Internet names and fake identities, because rich people miss being ordinary, except they don't miss the poverty and hardship.

Stevie Nicks is a common woman. A waitress raised by a corporate executive and she's taught to behave in a high dollar kind of way, never admitting fault of any kind, but it's always the cocaine, always someone or something's fault and not hers. Never Stevie's fault. She's perfect.

The rules are different for the rich and they can kill people for fun and almost get away with it. Or at least, stab them and never go to jail, but attack an ordinary person and the career is ruined!

Rich guy arrested for stabbing a working dude.

Now, I know a guy who defended himself in the State of New York and he got ten years. This Wall Street banker stabbed a cab driver to prevent paying a bill, was prosecuted in Connecticut and charges dropped.

Had it been the other way around, the cabbie would have been sentenced to 10 years.

Rich people get away with attacking ordinary people. They are seemingly untouchable ... until the revolution starts.

Nice to know that brief periods of lucidity still manage their way to the top of that incredibly large, albeit extremely hollow, cranium.

However, as you reveled in your paranoia's, you over looked one critical fact:

Middy already works for the FBI !

As far as Ms Nicks goes, she has authorized me to make you an offer.

She is willing to move to your double wide and live "happily ever after" with an insane stalker, his crusty roommates, tick infested dogs, starving chickens and the goat. She will be there to gently whisper lyrics from Rhiannon into your wax and hair encrusted ears, even massage your feet after a hard day of filming chickens and other ridiculous themes.

She will be everything you want her to be, and all she asks is you abdicate your computer, and agree to never post anything on the internet again.

Let me know if you're agreeable, and I will have her team of lawyers and accountants get in touch with your team at R D Kepple together they can draw up the papers.

These new screens have a built in technology using reversible pixelated camera software you can't even see- just like the one's on the newer model Galaxy pad.

.."Sensor pixels are randomly integrated appearing and operating normally until excited by being switched on by the individually specific reversing code"

That's a direct quote from a Back Bay Ford's Autonetics Newport Beach white paper I read- my aunt being an engineer on the project that has since been scrubbed and shut down.
They went so far as to close down Ford's Auonetics.. it's now a hamburger stand or something.
but I was there and saw the prototype..

..it's simple.
.. if you know the master code including the ISP address it can be activated, If you don't like it about all you can do now is put a towel over the screen or turn it around until you get the blocking code- right now you can't detect it or even know when it's been activated.

...but it all going to change soon.

In the works is holistic software that will allow the camera using non visible spectrum to actually see through non hardened walls and give a three dimension feed within a thirty plus meter range, same as bluetooth, what it is based on, but that is in the testing stage.

It works better and has a longer service life than any of the previous attempts they tried in CTR monitors- you probably heard about that failed program with the school provided laptops..

George Bush authorized the technology in early 2002, his dad was CIA you remember.

The Russians wasted nearly two decades down that rabbit hole of astral projection- ya see, the normal Eastern mind is not the same as a Russian mind which simply cannot let go enough to enter in an enlightened state, but Foggy Bottom R&D took a different direction and went the direct surveillance route..
guess they were right eh Rick?

Now the only way for you to get that switching mechanism turned off is to go to the local Sheriff and demand they put your ISP address on what amounts to a ISP no call list- just tell them you know what's going on and demand they give you the locking code under the freedom of information act..
at first they will try to act like they don't know what you are talking about, but be insistent and demand your rights unless you want that holistic viewer in your house.

It's your call but remember with things like this time is of the essence, I suggest you do it today.

Middy, I've always wondered why do they call it oval-tine?, it comes in a round jar, with a round lid, why not call it round-tine? When I was a prize winning journalist at The NYT, I wrote several articles on ovaltine abroad. Did you know that Piers Morgan and fellow Brits drink the stuff, but their ovaltine comes in the form of tea bags. I asked my rummy, er roomy, and he confirmed it, he's a seal, and a computer tech. I'm gunna ask Bodo and Maria, they both drink it, and they are squares :-) oval / square, I am funny to myself sometimes.

I think the rich invented ovaltine as a way to get control of the poor while they are impressionable little children, they started the false naming so as to alter the entire belief systems of poor people.

I wish happy endings were true, Jimmy, but that's not real life.

In real life, people die. Some get rich, ignore love and others shun wealth and embrace love.

Can they love one another? Not as long as one person embraces only wealth and the other is abused by her friends.

But I will watch her video tonight and see just how sorry she really is and if there is no mention of me whatsoever, then it means that she hasn't really changed.

Still, one does not stop loving someone the way that another just sells a stock.

You want to call me a SN stalker? Do so, but at your own risk, because at some point in the future, it will haunt you. I guarantee it.

You want to bully me? Go ahead. If Jimmy doesn't mind, I don't mind screwing up his blog.

Mike is the male version of her. I think they both post about 5 times a week on the Politics AZ Central blog and it's the same old crap over and over: Obama is great, all Republicans suck, we should have all the gays given full rights, separate bathrooms, etc.

What a bunch of bullsh--t! My opinion of the bathrooms is if a guy has a Johnson but likes to parade around as though he is a woman in a dress, heels, etc. he better stay the hell out of the women's restroom.

If he is so serious like Renee Richards was and has surgery to remove his male sex organs and replace them with whatever they do, then he can use the women's room.

Otherwise, any weirdo guy could slip on a dress and go into the women's room any time he wants. I can imagine how happy the girls would be for that.

If I told you 20 years ago we would be having a silly ass conversation like this, would you believe it? LOL

North Korea cut the peace line. It won't be long now. But y'all don't want to hear about that.

I saw a box of ammunition online today. I'm particular and didn't buy it.

So I understand now why I'm not supposed to talk about SN. It only took five years and it shows how delusional celebrities and their people can be sometimes. Look at Jim Carrey.

Why is it that rich celebrities want us all disarmed? They'd be more believable if it wasn't for their armed bodyguards.

Let's not forget about the Department of Defense working with Hollywood to make more 'believable' movies. Horse crap! They mean propaganda.

That explains why Red Dawn 2012 took years to be released using just the right enemy - the North Koreans.

I'm sick of being brainwashed, but that's why I don't often watch the TV news.

Why don't rich folks just come out and tell us the truth. BTW, Obama's rich. You know that, right? He writes books about himself. He's the greatest legend he knows!

I'd like to hear, "Tonight, Congress and I, President Obama, master of all the universe, am taking control of your lives. Er ... I'm sorry, BUT we felt it was in YOUR best interest. We're rich. You're not. We know best. I'm the chosen one. We must all work together in this transition to a dictatorship, but I'm sure you will all agree that hope and change are necessary to control you!"

Meanwhile, in North Korea: "Tonight, I Kim Jong-Un, master of all the universe, am taking more control of your lives. The imperialist yankee pig dogs ..."

I don't have much from the old days. When you've lived a hard life, there ain't much for keepsakes and keeping memories.

I need real friends right now. People who I can trust standing behind me with a gun and won't shoot me in the back. So I guess that's why I hunt alone.

Mike Slater said...

Middy, I have a Ruger mark 11 semi-auto pistol and it doesn't seem to matter what brand of ammo I use I still have jamming problems. Last time I went to the shooting range I fired the first round and then it wouldn't reload. I took it home and cleand it and will go back and try again.

You're right about Flake, he's just another disappointing RINO.

I've had an Arizona CCW for 15 years and can walk into any gun store, buy a gun and be out the door in about 30 minutes.

When my son was 17 we went to an Elk Foundation dinner and raffle. He won a 300 win mag rifle for $20 of raffle tickets. Since he wasn't 18 they wouldn't let him take it home. I showed them my CCW permit and walked out the door with it.

Jim, I found out Gratehouse isn't married. Gee, I wonder why. I'll say one thing for her though at least she allows comments on her blog unlike that little weasel McCellan. Even Bodo allows comments.

Unknown said...

Try cleaning the rifle, Middy. I might be able to fix it, but driving to my farm would be more expensive than taking the Nylon 66 to a gun shop.

It changes everything when I know the entire truth of the matter.

Boy that Cyprus stuff is a drag. Is anyone losing money over that deal or are they getting bailed out? And the world is saved once more from the brink of destruction, thanks to the rich paying for the bailouts with the taxes from the rich. Wait ... what?

The Politics blog gets an average of about 55 hits per entry. If I start getting a lot of comments, I would never get away from the computer.

Add those two together plus a monthly 500 word piece I do in the "Scottsdale Republic" hard copy and that takes some time.

Let me think about it. Hell, I'm not that busy between 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Maybe I'll give it a shot (or maybe not!)

Ben gives money to the Citigroup balance sheet, they buy stock driving the prices up, when it falls in price Ben gives BOA money, so they drive the price up until it drops a bit, then when it does Ben gives money to Chase bank who buys the same stock driving the price up.. no real investors necessary- just an endless supply of debt fueled monetary expansion and the market rises no matter how bad the economic news is.

Of course a rising market will eventually attract people who are not making anything off savings, watching their money evaporate in an inflationary market.

A few get back in as planned, hoping to exit before the collapse.
But mostly the gains are nothing more than artificial computer generated manipulation.
They will awake some morning to find a huge gap downward some morning when it's obvious the big players all left at the same time, just like the big money did in Cyprus days before the muppets got wind of a problem.

This ponzi scheme only works if you are injecting 85 bil. a month into the stock market- same thing for the European economy, and have a media willing to look the other way while the rape continues.
Ben sends money to Europe, they have loaned it to bankrupt states like Greece and Cyprus, but at some point they demand repayment, and the game is over.

..and that is when the property grab begins.

Is this just recycling taken to a new level?.
And I noticed no dogs were reported as complaining... so maybe we are just a bit too sensitive.

hey.. a little recycled schnauzer in the Alpo shouldn't be too hard for Grandma to cover with a nice sauce eh?

..someone ought to give this one to Drudge, he seems to be missing a lot of great stuff lately...

I wouldn't doubt that of Spain. Their bank, Grupo Santander, is owned by the most powerful people in the world and they have bought up lots of toxic assets. Their own employees hate their guts! So Spain is probably high on the list of failure.

I would imagine that dog would make a pretty good meal. So would cat. I used to know a Blues guitarist who had eaten house sparrows to survive.

I just read that an Army veteran in Phoenix is being tried by the U.S. government for using a Weapon of Mass Destruction against the Syrian government, when he fought with freedom fighters!

This would be called the TRUTH!

The government can yap all they want, but what this is saying is that American citizens may be tried for fighting for freedom!

Freedom fighters don't wear insignia, do they?

Just think of it. Tyrants attack us, we defend ourselves and we could be arrested for using a WMD.

Middy,

Drudge has changed. They are either late a lot or missing important items regularly.

Too bad, IO have always counted on them.

I see today that unemployment is up again and the growth has stalled at 0.4.

Mike Slater said...

Middy, how about the F-16's and Abrams tank we're sending to Egypt? I bet the Israeli's were really happy to hear that.

Jim, I thought that 2AM to 4AM was sleepy time. Don't waste your time on the Politics site. Most of the people on there are Libs. The only reason I get on it is to razz Gratehouse, Bodo and that idiot Julie Erfle.

midnightsstaff said...

Yeah.. that unemployment is pretty much where it's going to be from now on..
..but what's the difference? the whole thing is a joke in the first place, we have more people on disability now than any time in history, all they have been doing is moving people off the unemployment roles once their time runs out and put them in disability, just another pea under the walnut game you see on New Yawk street corners.

Taxes are going up and the real costs for Obama care is going to skyrocket starting next year, there is absolutely nothing positive except the casino market.

There is going to be some mid eastern war soon I suppose, Obama for some reason wants it to happen- I know what I think, but everyone has to draw their own conclusion.
make sure you have some cash in the house, tank of gas and enough food to get you through a few months and of course keep your powder dry.

What did you think about that game... I forgot it was early and missed the first four goals. I give 'em credit they had their game on tonight.

I might get a Willoghby moment again soon, almost had one today but not quite.
it's a nice ride.

"how about the F-16's and Abrams tank we're sending to Egypt?"

As I've said, the U.S. arms its enemies too. Egypt would use those weapons against Israel, but maybe Obama wants war in the Middle East. Maybe the Republicans need that war too.

War is actually much cheaper than contract negotiations.

Okay. All is well. Forgiven SN. Pax and all that. I wouldn't be so annoying if she and I actually talked.

In fact, I might actually even get off the Internet! The guys in the studio would have use of it for uploading songs and videos. I'm old and tired of the games.

For example, I know we are moving to the point of bar coding and implanting microchips in people. It's a done deal, but not happened yet. It won't be mandated, for about 10 years and people will choose it out of fear.

Think I'm delusional? Look at this reality. http://www.implantedmicrochip.com/

Convenience. Simple. Proven in livestock to be effective. Now for humans and accepted by doctors.

Think I'm delusional? The government has been trying to keep me down, ruin my life, make me a worthless failure for years, and why? Because a rock star helped me to figure out that the last vestiges of the US space program are hidden under code name "S.A.M"

Even a double-wide, hillbilly knows that has to mean, Space Age Motel, duh!

Nothing to do with the topic but I ran across this article today.
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/mar/28/columnist-wants-end-military-funeral-honors-vets-w/

Seems a few people are upset over giving non hero's a well deserved military honor at their funeral today.

.."St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bill McClellan published a column Wednesday, saying the U.S. military should do away with funeral honors, since “most veterans did nothing heroic” anyway.

“Both the federal government and the state government are broke. So why are we providing military funeral honors for all veterans?” he asked"

..from the shitty way people treated me and everyone else coming home fresh from the jungle forty some odd years ago this doesn't surprise me one bit.

I guess an America that will tolerate an obviously stolen election, flies the flag half staff and has state functions for a black whore who dies of drug overdose, regularly celebrates and defends urban tribes people killing white babies by shooting them in the face while being pushed in a stroller in front of their mother, a nation that would celebrate homosexuality to the point of electing a bath house queen for President, even tho the black voters say they oppose Queerdom.

Hypocrites?- no just a race of tribal deviates.

Yes I suppose this and other final insults are to be expected in a totally communist/ nihilistic society that can not be bothered to pay attention to the destruction of our way of life, instead they are watching Honey Boo Boo and enjoying their food stamps.

..and to think I signed up to protect the first amendment rights of a morally bankrupt retard in Missouri so he can continue be lost in envy, nursing his hatred of any responsible person out of little more than an inbred sense of rote depravity..

I guess I am the idiot with rocks in my head.

By the way, does this tinhorn in North Korea remind anyone else of some Dr.Strangelove character?

Number One ToadSon just sent South Korea a telegram telling them to consider themselves at war with North Korea..

.."North Korea announced Saturday that it has entered a state of war against South Korea.
In a special statement, the North said it will deal with every inter-Korean issue in a wartime manner"

Sounds like something Peter Sellers could work with.
..just what the hell did Dennis Rodman tell that jerk?

If this is just another dream someone please give me a call and wake me up- it's getting too weird for me.

I knew a Jesuit priest once. He's dead now.

Some writers have no guts whatsoever! Every person who serves in the military runs the risk of being the only one to walk out of some battle with blood and guts all over them! So every soldier and every veteran who has ever served IS A HERO!

Dennis Rodman is a face of a filmmaker who got into North Korea to make a documentary. http://www.cnbc.com/id/100550857

This publication sheds the Muslim light on Rodman's visit. http://rehmat1.com/2013/03/14/jews-against-dennis-rodman/

Oh then I found a story about Iran's pipeline to provide fuel to Muslim nations to free them from Western imperialists. Q: Is that the same pipeline going through Afghanistan?

Islam has positive things to say about Rodman and nothing good to say about Obama. FYI. Do you think it's a ruse?

At one time we used to encourage this type of thinking in America, now we just tell them nothing can be done about the problem, hand them a SNAP card and tell them to enjoy the game.
